April 3, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 115 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing Pittsburgh Steelers ILB Patrick Queen recently changing agents and what that move may or may not mean overall. We also look ahead to the 2026 season when it comes to Queen and what we hope to see out of him in his third season in Pittsburgh. The Las Vegas Raiders have now signed free agent QB Kirk Cousins, so we discuss that news as well as the known contract numbers. As part of that Cousins contract discussion, Alex and I discuss what impact, if any, his new deal will have on a contract that QB Aaron Rodgers ultimately signs with the Steelers in the coming days or weeks. The Steelers have had a few of their own unrestricted free agents sign elsewhere since our last show, so we go over the who and the where as part of that conversation. We also review who we spotted from the Steelers at the Indiana pro day on Wednesday. Our own Ross McCorkle recently posted about the explosive passing plays the Steelers registered in 2025, so we go over the data he compiled and what it means. We also look ahead at the Steelers hoping to register more explosive passing plays in 2026 and how they might be challenged to achieve such a goal, and especially with Rodgers at quarterback once again. Is there a strong chance that former Penn State OG Olaivavega Ioane will ultimately fall to the Steelers in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft? We attempt to answer that question by looking at team needs when it comes to the current draft order of the 20 selections ahead of Pittsburgh. Later in this show, Alex and I discuss the future of Pro Football Focus going forward and how their product has impacted data collection over the years. This 99-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the above recap and we end this show by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. The big news in the fantasy and sports data space this week was the sale of Pro Football Focus to Teamworks, which led to over half of the PFF staff being immediately laid off. Jeff Mans discusses the details of this business deal and why it will have a significant impact on the basic fantasy consumer moving forward. Mans speculates on all of the entities that will rush out to replace the PFF data on the consumer side and what role his company, FantasyGuru, will have in that process. He also comments on all of the NFL rule changes that were agreed upon this week at the spring meetings and discusses the impact replacement referees may have on the game in 2026. Jeff also expresses some thoughts on the first week of the MLB season, including his hot & cold lists of the week. Mans counts down the top 10 most underrated NFL free agent signings too, including why the Chiefs' decision to bring back Travis Kelce was a wise one on several levels. 2026 college football running back rankings spark debate: Is Missouri's Ahmad Hardy the nation's most dominant back? Do not discount Ole Miss's Kewan Lacy or Florida's Jadan Baugh! There's also Mr. Underrated, Mark Fletcher, Jr., who needs to be discussed. Explosive stats, transfer portal moves, and NFL-caliber versatility draw focus as players like Louisville's Isaac Brown, Georgia's Nate Frazier, and Notre Dame's Aneyas Williams position themselves for breakout seasons. There's also the team perspective to take into account: Can Fletcher, Jr.'s durability and Miami's deep running back room power a playoff push? Brian Smith breaks down Pro Football Focus' Top 10, highlighting Hardy's yards-after-contact prowess, Lacy's touchdown surge, and the evolving roles of under-the-radar candidates at Georgia, USC, and Michigan. Key questions include: Will freshmen phenoms like Duke's Nate Sheppard repeat last season's success? Are pass-catching and blocking indispensable in today's game? As NIL and transfer decisions shape team strategies, the race for RB1 heats up—who's your pick for the next gamechanger? Everydayer Club If you never miss an episode, it's time to make it official. Ep. 985 - Marvin Harrison Jr. Michael Wilson. Trey McBride. Three very capable pass catchers, and in the case of McBride, maybe the best at his position. In other words, it should be a quarterback-friendly offense regardless of who might be under center for the Cardinals in 2026, according to Trevor Sikkema of Pro Football Focus. He joined Craig Grialou, who is flying solo on today's show, at the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis last week. The two had a really good conversation about Marvin, Michael, and Trey. Also, the guys looked back at the first season of Walter Nolen III, debated pass protect vs. pass rush with the third overall pick, and then Trevor explained the difficulty teams - like the Cardinals - might have finding a trade partner to move in the draft.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Kevin Clark sits down with Trevor Sikkema, Lead NFL Draft Analyst for Pro Football Focus, for a deep dive into the future of the league. They break down this year's NFL Draft class and explore how the college football transfer portal has dramatically increased the overall depth of talent available to teams. With more player movement than ever, franchises are seeing more experienced, pro-ready prospects enter the draft pool. They also examine how the 2026 linebacker class could shape the NFL for the next decade — including why Sonny Styles may be the best overall player in the 2026 Draft. The conversation highlights a clear shift in today's game: speed is taking precedence over traditional size and strength, redefining what teams value at nearly every position. Plus, they predict when the wide receiver run could begin in this year's draft and which teams may trigger the domino effect. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

On this week's episode of Bills by the Numbers presented by FanDuel from the NFL Scouting Combine, Chris Brown and Steve Tasker discuss the possible changes we could see along the offensive line and the other possible moves that may affect the roster. They shared their thoughts on which positions of need could be filled in free agency versus the draft and how likely the Bills would execute a trade. Pro Football Focus draft analyst Trevor Sikkema joined the guys to discuss the possible prospect fits for Buffalo in the 2026 NFL Draft. Steve is quizzed on Bills salary cap history in The Numbers Game. Finally, the two give their answer to this week's One Burning Question, where we see the most change defensively in the draft or through free agency?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Our Seattle Seahawks are kicking off free agency with five starters and two more key players potentially hitting the open market in two weeks at the start of the new league year. We run through some of the challenges general manager John Schneider faces with keeping each player and take a look at some of the projected salaries by The Athletic and Pro Football Focus. Kenneth Walker may have the biggest gap between how Seahawks fans would value him vs how he may be valued by another team, but a close second could be Boye Mafe. Mafe is considered one of the top 5 edge rushers in free agency, but his play time was limited in 2025 due to the play of Demarcus Lawrence and Uchenna Nwosu and Derick Hall. The amount of potential turnover in the secondary area of concern. Tariq Woolen, Josh Jobe and Coby Bryant are all expected to see contracts upward of $10 million per year and closer to $20 million per year in the case of Woolen. Is that the best use of salary cap dollars to try and keep all three? How would we prioritize? We take a look at the exclusive rights free agents and what that designation means as well as the restricted free agents and the one starter who stands out. In the second half of the show, we talk about potential rule changes (and the lack of rule changes) that are being discussed in Indianapolis. We could see a greater emphasis placed on officiating from the booth than on the field for certain calls. We call out the Los Angeles Rams and Augusta National on news that came out this week about both.
