August 27, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 16 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the initial 53-man roster that the Pittsburgh Steelers established on Tuesday. We go over each position group as we review the initial 53-man roster for 2025 and we start at the quarterback position. From there, we roll through the rest of the position groups when it comes to players kept and not kept. The Steelers are sure to massage their 53-man roster in the coming days so Alex and I discuss what additional moves might be made. We discuss the likelihood of CB James Pierre and S Chuck Clark both being re-signed and if QB Will Howard and CB Donte Kent will both be moved to the Reserve/Injured list in the coming days. August 25, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 15 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the list of 11 players that the Pittsburgh Steelers parted ways with after their Thursday night 2025 preseason finale. We also talk a little about the updated statuses of several injured players since the final preseason game ended and that includes the positive news concerning rookie DL Derrick Harmon. With the early housekeeping out of the way, Alex and I dive right into our final 53-man roster predictions for the Steelers with the team set to establish that initial unit by Tuesday afternoon. Surprisingly, Alex and I have quite a few differences this year when it comes to our final 53-man roster predictions for the Steelers and perhaps the most since we both have been submitting them on the site. We discuss whether there's a chance the Steelers might trade away any players by Tuesday afternoon and if QB Skylar Thompson might wind up being one of those players. August 20, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 13 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the recent transactions made by the Pittsburgh Steelers that included the team parting ways with rookie undrafted free agent WR Roc Taylor. We go over why Taylor might have been jettisoned a few days ago. The Steelers had free agent WR Gabe Davis in for a second visit on Tuesday, so Alex and I discuss him reportedly leaving Pittsburgh unsigned once again. We address how Davis would fit with the Steelers if he is ultimately signed and what a contract for him would look like. Ahead of the team's Thursday night preseason finale against the Carolina Panthers, Alex and I go over the health of the Steelers 91-man roster. We discuss a few players we are hoping to learn more about when it comes to their injuries by the time the weekend is over. Steelers DT Cameron Heyward was back in team drills on Tuesday, so Alex and I discuss that big news as the team prepares for their final preseason game. We also talk about how Heyward, OLB T.J.
