In this hour, Adam Crowley and Dorin Dickerson start exploring alternatives at QB since Aaron Rodgers seems to also be heavily considering retirement. Could Mason Rudolph be the guy? April 18, 2025, 7:00 Hour
One NFL scribe claimed that the Shedeur Sanders meeting with the Steelers did not go as well as we first thought and added that he won't be picked at 21. There seem to be a lot of Sanders flames around the Steelers fire as we get close to draft night. The last decade hasn't been kind to the Steelers in the draft, with TJ Watt being the only ‘hit' out of the bunch. Poni said it reminds him of the 1980's. Poni's dad thought he was Mason Rudolph. Donny's mom once thought he looked like Jelly Roll. Would a QB pick be a waste on the Steelers part? Donny Football Debrief – Cam Ward listed his top 4 WRs and it sounds like he's pretty sure he will be the Titans next QB.
Steelers correspondent Mark Kaboly from the Pat McAfee Show joined the show. Mark reacted to the Aaron Rodgers interview that aired yesterday on the Pat McAfee Show. Mark said he thought Rodgers sounded very believable in what he said. Mark still believes that Rodgers wants to play for the Steelers. He said the Steelers still feel very confident that Rodgers will end up here. Mark said that he doesn't think this was their original plan and that it was likely bringing Justin Fields back. Mark doesn't see going with Mason Rudolph in the interim as a terrible thing. More w/ Mark – Mark said he has not heard that Shedeur Sanders bombed his interview with the Steelers like a few have reported. Mark's opinion is that the Steelers will work their way back into the 2nd round next week. Mark got the sense that the Steelers will not be trading George Pickens. The guys debated when Jaxson Dart would get drafted. Mark feels like Derrick Harmon is their pick if he's there. Mark would not cross off Omarion Hampton in the 1st round. Mark ranked the Steelers offensive lineman going into next season. More w/ Mark – We spent a few minutes talking about Easter food. Poni took Mark through the last decade of Steelers 1st round picks, which only produced TJ Watt as a ‘hit.' Mark's prediction is that Derrick Harmon will be the player chosen at 21st overall.
Poni's dad thought he was Mason Rudolph. Donny's mom once thought he looked like Jelly Roll.
If the Steelers do have an indication that Aaron Rodgers won't play, it makes more sense that they did homework on QBs entering the draft. Does this make Shedeur Sanders or Jaxson Dart more of a possibility in the 1st round? Poni said he is more open to a Tyler Shough or Will Howard in the middle rounds. The Steelers shouldn't just completely waste the year on Mason Rudolph, unless he surprises and plays well. Poni thinks the older guys in the draft should be prepared to start early.
Are we any closer to the finish line on the Aaron Rodgers saga? We've heard report after report after report, but nothing has become official. Poni questioned if people love the idea of Rodgers to the Steelers for the entertainment value. Did today's chat on the Pat McAfee Show give us any more clarity on the situation? A few more calls on Rodgers. Steve Palazzolo from The 33rd Team joined the show. Steve pointed out how rarely we have seen QBs mull retirement then return to play well that season, besides Brett Favre in 2009. Steve doesn't think Aaron Rodgers is close, at all, to making up his mind. Steve's draft strategy would be taking a QB early, but isn't sure what their internal grades look like. Steve said teams shouldn't be afraid to take QBs even if they don't necessarily need one, which might be why the Steelers are in this spot to begin with. What would the Steelers look like if they let Mason Rudolph run the show next season? Donny Football Debrief – Lee Corso announced that the first College Gameday of next season will be his last.

It doesn't feel like Aaron Rodgers is 100% in – which is usually a sign to retire for pro athletes. How should the Steelers move ahead? Caller questioned what Art Rooney is doing. More calls on the latest Aaron Rodgers situation.
On the Wednesday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Ray Fittipaldo recap their final seven-round mocks ahead of the NFL draft next week. Why did both choose Oregon DL Derrick Harmon over other DL options like Walter Nolen and Kenneth Grant? And projected first-round options at other positions like Jahdae Barron at CB, Omarion Hampton at RB and Shedeur Sanders or Jaxson Dart at QB? Will coach Mike Tomlin and GM Omar Khan chase speed at RB on Day 2 with names like Dylan Sampson and Bhayshul Tuten? How would those guys pair with internal options like Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell? Can Tyler Shough and Will Howard be capable backups to Mason Rudolph and -- possibly -- Aaron Rodgers quickly? And why are OT Logan Brown, WR Konata Mumpfield, Ty Robinson, Jamaree Caldwell and Yahya Black among names to watch as potential Day 3 games? Our duo tackles those questions and more. About a week away from the NFL Draft we are still wondering what the future looks like for George Pickens. Would he net them a 2nd round pick in return to get the Steelers back into that round? Gerry Dulac doesn't think the team will trade the troubled WR next weekend – in fact, he said it with certainty. The guys went through some of the antics Pickens took part in late last season. Should the Steelers be patient about the offense with Pickens and DK Metcalf as their top 2 threats? Is there a way for both guys to get theirs in this offense? Is it naive for the Steelers to think it will work? If the Steelers are going with the all-in approach with Aaron Rodgers, should they keep their WR corps at full strength? Do fans think the Steelers have a clue on offensive approach? Caller took shot at legendary Pittsburgh weatherman. Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike said we are all stuck waiting on Aaron Rodgers and there's no new development. Mike said the situation in New Orleans with Derek Carr is interesting to note. Mike reminded us that the Vikings door still isn't fully closed on Rodgers. Mike questioned if the Steelers would say NO to Rodgers at any point this offseason, even if it's training camp. Mike doesn't think it's impossible to have Shedeur Sanders at the same time as Rodgers, but referenced the coin flip it is to draft a QB in their draft slot. Mike thinks after the Saints, the Seahawks may be the only team that has interest in Sanders. Mike does not see Mason Rudolph going into the season as the starter if the goal is to win a playoff game or more. The guys asked Mike if the TJ Watt Instagram post means anything significant and if it means more than his contract price. Mike talked about long ago when the Steelers used to have a revolving door at edge rusher, but it kept working. Mike said the trade market for Watt depends on how the 1st round goes for needy teams.

In this hour, Adam Crowley and Dorin Dickerson wonder whether the Pirates would get better or worse without manager Derek Shelton. Also, are the Steelers prepared to have Mason Rudolph be the starting QB for the whole season? April 14, 2025, 7:00 Hour
Adam Crowley and Dorin Dickerson discuss what the Steelers' reality could look like if QB Aaron Rodgers ends up not signing with the team.

RJ Bell, Mackenzie Rivers and Scott Seidenberg discuss many topics on this weeks Dream Podcast. The guys cover some NBA coaching changes and NFL season win total adjustments. Plus, Stock market and gambling markets deep dive. The Dream Podcast – NBA + NFL Win Totals & Stock Market! features RJ Bell, Scott Seidenberg, and Mackenzie Rivers dissecting sports betting insights and investing behavior. RJ introduces a special 90-day all-access betting package, recommending Fezzik for his strong MLB (+43 units) and NBA record. Mackenzie highlights his NBA season performance with a 57.5% win rate over 710 plays, positioning himself as a premier handicapper. The discussion turns to the NCAA tournament, where Duke blew a six-point lead to Houston in under 30 seconds despite a 92.5% win probability. Florida emerged as champions, becoming the first team in over 20 years to win three straight tournament games while trailing by eight or more points, underscoring tournament randomness. Scott discusses refusing to hedge a $300 bet to win $1,800 on Houston, which leads to RJ's broader discussion on hedging psychology—only advisable when money is emotionally or financially pivotal. The NFL segment dives into new overtime rules: both teams now receive possession, unless the first team controls the entire 10-minute period. RJ and Scott analyze how this changes endgame strategies, field goal thresholds, and 2-point conversion decisions. Shifting to NFL win totals, RJ spotlights major market movements. Dallas's total drops from 10 to 7.5 wins, which RJ deems wildly low given Dak Prescott's top-8 QB status, an elite receiver and defender, and a fourth-place schedule. He calls this his “epiphany best bet.” They compare this to Pittsburgh, questioning the sustainability of Mike Tomlin's non-losing streak amid aging quarterbacks and reliance on Mason Rudolph. RJ leans under for the Steelers. Denver firing NBA coach Michael Malone—despite playoff contention and a title last season—signals internal dysfunction. Jokic reportedly approved the move, later drawing up plays on the whiteboard. Mackenzie highlights the “dead coach bounce,” noting teams who fire their coach mid-season win 75% ATS in the next game but regress to 40% ATS in the second. Jokic's role seems to be shifting toward playmaking, suggesting betting unders on his points and overs on assists when Denver is ahead. In the final segment, RJ dives into financial strategy, likening betting discipline to investing. He advises avoiding timing the market, minimizing transaction costs, and investing via low-fee index funds over hedge or mutual funds. RJ references his finance background, recounting managing Ohio State's $7 million endowment and concluding that behavior, not picks, determines most losses. He encourages dollar-cost averaging and diversification, especially outside the U.S. dollar. The key, he insists, is resisting emotional decisions in both betting and finance.
On the Wednesday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Ray Fittipaldo react to QB Shedeur Sanders' scheduled visit to the team's facility ahead of the NFL draft. Do GM Omar Khan and coach Mike Tomlin have genuine interest in Deion Sanders' son should he fall from the top five in the draft? Or is it a smokescreen designed to obscure Khan's true interests? And how would Sanders fit in QB room with the likes of Mason Rudolph and -- potentially -- Aaron Rodgers? Our duo tackles those questions, then reviews other top 30 visits to this point. Is Jaxson Dart on the Steelers' radar after his own visit? Is WR Matthew Golden still on the first-round radar, despite the DK Metcalf trade? Why haven't more offensive visitors been in the projected first-round range? And what should we make of the fact that none of the projected first-round DL options have visited? A list that includes names like Derrick Harmon, Kenneth Grant, Walter Nolen, Darius Alexander and Tyleik Williams?
We all think Aaron Rodgers and Mason Rudolph will be the Steelers quarterbacks and Joe and Austin believe Rodgers will announce at the Pat McAfee Show. Feldman doesn't think Jaxson Dart has a great trait but has the Steelers picking Dart 21 overall.
The Mariners weekend sucked. From getting swept to big-time injuries; we have a lot of concerns. Yes, we did see a few positives from the team, but they were lost in the avalanche of negativity that befell this team over the weekend. Questionable decisions, bullpen management, yes, some bad umpiring as well and a very concerning injury for a key player was the exclamation point on a very bad weekend. :30- Draftmas Stocking Stuffers- a look a the rumors and news from the NFL ahead of the draft. - Shadeur Sanders had his pro day on Friday and apparently impressed a lot of people and it seems that he's on his way back up in the draft. In fact, Deion even had dinner with Jimmy Haslem of the Browns and it seems like either Travis Hunter or Shadeur will be headed to Cleveland. - The Steelers still don't have Aaron Rodgers, which leaves them with just Mason Rudolph. Could they be looking for a QB in the Draft? Rumors are that they're interested in Alabama's Jalen Milroe. - Are the Seahawks interested in an O-Lineman in the first round? Gray Zabel might be the only guy worth that early pick. :45- The new green jacket season is upon us, but we have some things to wrap up first!
Steelers reporter Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette joined the show. Andy Weidl was at Ole Miss Pro Day evaluating guys and QB Jaxson Dart is in Pittsburgh on a pre-draft visit today. Ray thinks there is a 5 or 10% chance the Steelers pick Shedeur Sanders if he is available. Ray thinks defensive tackle is still the No. 1 focus in the first round. Ray heard everything was lined up for Jaxson Dart to succeed. He doesn't know what the holdup is for Aaron Rodgers. Free association. 12% chance Mason Rudolph is the Steelers starter in the first game of the season.

Rumors and speculations are just that, rumors and speculations. There's a lot of it out there pertaining to the Pittsburgh Steelers and their 2025 NFL draft plans. All of the talk about QB, but they've brought in WR, DL, DB, RB, OL, LB and even brought QB Mason Rudolph back as a probable backup into a culture and locker room he's all to familiar with. Point of it all, none of us knows what the plan is, we only know it will definitely be revealed in the next three weeks. Post-Gazette sports columnist Paul Zeise reacts to the day in Pittsburgh sports news live around 5 p.m. Eastern. Should the Steelers have pushed harder to trade for QB Joe Milton III, who went from the Patriots to the Cowboys on Thursday in exchange for a pair of later-round draft picks? Could he have more upside than Mason Rudolph as a backup? Or would his age and room for development even made him a preferable option to Aaron Rodgers that GM Omar Khan and coach Mike Tomlin should have pursued? Paul tackles those topics; reacts to visits by NFL draft prospects including WR Matthew Golden, RB Kaleb Johnson, CB Azareye'h Thomas and TE Gavin Bartholomew; and gives his thoughts on the sorry state of the Pirates ahead of the home opener Friday against the New York Yankees.
On the Wednesday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Ray Fittipaldo react to owner Art Rooney II's comments about the team's pursuit of QB Aaron Rodgers via NFL free agency. Is Rodgers now on the clock to make a decision before the NFL draft? How much will his decision factor into the calls coach Mike Tomlin and GM Omar Khan make about who to select in the draft? And what will the consequences be in terms of perception if Rodgers decides not to sign, leaving the Steelers with either Mason Rudolph or other free agents including Drew Lock, Joe Flacco and Carson Wentz as their QB options for 2025? Our duo tackles those topics, then gets into Ray's latest seven-round NFL mock draft. Why does he like Kenneth Grant from Michigan as the team's first-round pick? Could Louisville QB Tyler Shough make sense as a potential backup or even starter of the future? And why is Ray looking at names including Oklahoma State RB Ollie Gordon, Indiana DL CJ West, Florida WR Chimere Dike and Wisconsin OT Jack Nelson in later rounds? Then in the third segment, Chris and Ray weigh NFL rule changes that were and were not approved at the owners meetings this week.
DK Metcalf and Aaron Rodgers were working out together and video surfaced online. Gio cannot believe Rodgers is dragging this out again, holding another franchise hostage. He has had weeks to decide what to do. You can't have Metcalf with George Pickens and then have Mason Rudolph as your quarterback. Boomer thinks the deal is already done with the Steelers and Rodgers. Gio wonders why they don't just announce it then.
Post-Gazette sports columnist Paul Zeise reacts to the day in Pittsburgh sports news live around 5 p.m. Eastern. What should we make of Steelers owner Art Rooney II telling reporters Tuesday he feels "pretty good" about the team signing Aaron Rodgers to be its starting quarterback? How long should Rooney, general manager Omar Khan and coach Mike Tomlin wait before moving on from Rodgers, either for internal candidate Mason Rudolph or external options like Joe Flacco, Drew Lock and Carson Wentz? And what does Paul think of some of the rule changes Rooney is voting for at the NFL owners meeting? Paul tackles those topics; the demotion of the Pirates' David Bednar to the minor leagues; and news that star guard Jaland Lowe will be transferring from Pitt basketball after Jeff Capel once again failed to get the Panthers into March Madness.

March 31, 2025 - Season 15, Episode 113 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the early morning news that free agent QB Arron Rodgers had a throwing session with new Pittsburgh Steelers WR Dk Metcalf over the weekend. With the 2025 NFL owners' meetings underway in Florida, Steelers HC Mike Tomlin and GM Omar Khan have both conducted media sessions to start this week. Tomlin has had several since Sunday, so we parse everything that he had to say during all of them. That includes his comments on Rodgers, Metcalf, and other players on the roster. We go over a few things that Khan reportedly said during his Monday media session as well. Alex and I discuss the similarities and differences between Metcalf and WR George Pickens based on things Tomlin said during his interviews. We also discuss the Steelers having full confidence in QB Mason Rudolph should Rodgers ultimately decide not to sign with the Steelers. How big of need to the Steelers have at the cornerback position when it comes to the 2025 NFL Draft? Alex and I attempt to answer that question. We also discuss whether it is a slam dunk to expect the Steelers to select a wide receiver in the first two days of the 2025 NFL Draft. Will the Tush Push play get banned this week? Should divisional winners get a home playoff game? Alex and I address those two questions during this show as well. With the 2025 pro day circuit starting to wind down, Alex and I recap several other sightings of members from the Steelers at various pro days since our last episode. This 95-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap as well. We end this show by answering several emails we have received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

On the Monday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Ray Fittipaldo react to comments from Steelers GM Omar Khan and coach Mike Tomlin at NFL owners meetings over the weekend. Why do they not seem to be in any kind of rush to seal the deal with QB Aaron Rodgers in NFL free agency? Does Rodgers' reported workout with Steelers WR DK Metcalf signal that a deal may be imminent? Or at least inevitable? What does it all mean for QB Mason Rudolph now that he's back under contract in Pittsburgh? And do positive comments about George Pickens signal that they team really believes in him for 2025 and beyond? Our duo tackles those topics, as well as the future of the running back position as the NFL draft looms. Should Khan pursue a marquee name to team with Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell in the backfield? Think an Ashton Jeanty or Omarion Hampton? Or are there depth options like Quinshon Judkins, Kaleb Johnson and others who could fit just as well?
Post-Gazette sports columnist Paul Zeise reacts to the day in Pittsburgh sports news live around 5 p.m. Eastern. What should we make of reports that Aaron Rodgers and Steelers WR DK Metcalf had a throwing session over the weekend? Does it signal that Rodgers may sign with the Steelers soon? What are Paul's thoughts on comments made by coach Mike Tomlin and GM Omar Khan at the NFL owners meetings over the weekend? Is his faith in QB Mason Rudolph warranted? Will young offensive linemen including Zach Frazier, Broderick Jones and Troy Fautanu heed his message? And should we take positive comments about George Pickens at face value? Paul tackles those topics, then pivots to the Pirates, who lost three of four in their MLB season-opening series against the Miami Marlins. How much blame does manager Derek Shelton deserve for the sloppy play? Is it too soon to panic about relievers David Bednar and Colin Holderman? And which players need to be better starting Monday night against the Tampa Bay Rays?
Welcome to Steelers Morning Rush, our new daily short-form podcast with Alan Saunders, giving a longer perspective on a single news topic surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers or the National Football League. Today, it's the latest from NFL owners meetings about the latest on the Steelers pursuit of Aaron Rodgers, plus the DK Metcalf trade and what it means for George Pickens. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin talked for nearly an hour between his Sunday afternoon briefing with the Pittsburgh media and his Monday morning session with the assembled national horde. Tomlin was asked over a dozen questions about the team's pursuit of Rodgers, his faith in Mason Rudolph and the other quarterback options out there if he says no, including in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Tomlin also talked a lot about the acquisition of DK Metcalf, how he'll fit in the offense, and what that may or may not mean for George Pickens. Alan breaks it down Learn more about your ad choices. On their weekly NFL mock draft tracker podcast, host Adam Bittner and Post-Gazette Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo recap the week in projected picks for the team from around the Internet. -Do coach Mike Tomlin and GM Omar Khan have more needs than they can fill with this class, after trading their second-round pick for DK Metcalf earlier this month? -Why is Tyler Shough emerging as a serious option for the Steelers to slot in behind Mason Rudolph and -- possibly -- Aaron Rodgers? -How seriously should we take coach Mike Tomlin's pro day dinner with Ohio State standouts Will Howard, Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson? -Should we play any attention to the growing mock draft momentum toward the Steelers selecting possible Day 1 QB options Jaxson Dart and Shedeur Sanders? -Why is Walter Nolen a divisive figure in the mock daft world and how does he fit with the Steelers' needs compared to defensive tackles like Derrick Harmon and Kenneth Grant? -What are Ray's thoughts about Omarion Hampton and Jahdae Barron, who still consistently show up in Steelers mocks?
On the Friday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Brian Batko weigh the team's QB options as another week of the wait for Aaron Rodgers comes to an end. Are there still viable QB alternatives after Russell Wilson signed with the New York Giants this week? Could free agent names like Joe Flacco, Drew Lock and Carson Wentz make sense above or below Mason Rudolph on the depth chart? And how closely should GM Omar Khan and coach Mike Tomlin be focused on NFL draft options including Shedeur Sanders, Jaxson Dart and Will Howard? Later, they discuss life for the Steelers if Rodgers ultimately signs. Could the QB clash with OC Arthur Smith like Wilson did? And in the final segment, our duo gives its thoughts on proposed NFL rule changes.

On the Wednesday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Ray Fittipaldo react to Russell Wilson signing with the New York Giants in NFL free agency. Does the move make an eventual marriage between the Steelers and Aaron Rodgers inevitable, with one less possible destination available to him? How will Wilson perform in New York after mixed results this past season with the Steelers? How seriously might GM Omar Khan and coach Mike Tomlin be about Mason Rudolph as a potential starting option if a deal with Rodgers doesn't work out? Our duo tackles those questions and more. Including: How does Wilson's move further solidify Khan's plans regarding compensatory NFL draft picks for 2026? Could the Steelers use that capital to reload their roster? Or potentially chase a top-level quarterback like Arch Manning via a trade? And how closely are Khan and Co. watching Ohio State prospects including Emeka Egbuka, TreVeyon Henderson, Quinshon Judkins and Will Howard after attending the Buckeyes' pro day this week?
The Power of a Coaching SabbaticalYears ago, I learned that Nike offered sabbaticals to employees after 10 years of service. It made perfect sense - stepping away allowed them to recharge, gain new perspectives, and pour into their families. In the coaching profession, I've always believed sabbaticals should be the norm. Every coach I've met who has taken a year off, whether by choice or due to job circumstances, has experienced tremendous growth.Pete Carroll famously reinvented his coaching philosophy during his year off. Chip Kelly, Dan Mullen, Urban Meyer, and Bill Belichick all spent time in TV roles before returning to head coaching jobs. These high-profile examples highlight individuals that went from head coaching job to another.Today's Y-Option Podcast, presented by our founding partner 76, is with Arizona State offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Marcus Arroyo. After an extensive coaching career in both college football and the NFL, Marcus found himself on an unexpected “sabbatical” in 2023 following his time as head coach at UNLV. Instead of viewing it as a setback, he saw it as an opportunity for personal and professional growth.Marcus, a Broyles Award finalist in 2024, has coached standout quarterbacks like Josh McCown, Mason Rudolph, Nick Mullens, Justin Herbert, and most recently, Sam Leavitt. In December 2019, he achieved a lifelong dream when he was named head coach of the Rebels. Just months later, COVID-19 changed everything, forcing him to navigate unprecedented challenges. Fast forward three years, and his time away from the game would reshape his career.During his sabbatical, Marcus built a structured calendar to maximize learning. He visited top programs, including the LA Rams, LA Chargers, NY Giants, Texas Longhorns, and Utah Utes. He redesigned his entire playbook, a process that played a pivotal role in ASU's rise to a Big 12 title and a College Football Playoff berth in 2024.Inside the Episode:* In our conversation, Marcus and I dive into his mentors, his “why,” and the profound impact of his sabbatical. He shares what truly matters most, his nonnegotiables for quarterback play, how Sam Leavitt thrived under Kenny Dillingham at ASU and the math needed to fill the shoes of All-American Cam Skattebo. Of course, we also talk about 4th-down decisions and the mentality behind calling big-time plays in critical moments.More from Y-Option:* Beyond my conversation with Marcus, Jim Thornby and I continue our deep dive into the quarterback position as the Big 12 returns 10 of the conference's top 11 leading passers from last season, including Arizona's Noah Fifita, BYU's Jake Retzlaff, and Kansas State's Avery Johnson.* Additionally, I reflect on my time in Boulder with Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes while speaking at the Nike Coach of the Year Clinic. As always, we are incredibly grateful for the continued support of Y-Option as we pour into this newsletter and podcast during the offseason.Much love and stay steady,YogiThis episode was executive produced by Jim Thornby and edited by Victor RenThis podcast is a Best Coast Media productionY-Option: College Football with Yogi Roth is a reader-supported publication. March 18 – Ep. 47: On this episode of The Depot Dive, Joe Clark and Ross McCorkle kick things off with everybody's (least) favorite topic. What's the latest with Aaron Rodgers? We give a high-level overview of where things stand and why this could drag on for a lot longer. We also weigh in on Mason Rudolph joining the team and whether he should just be the starter. For the next topic, we discuss all of the various free agent moves including two signings on the defensive line, a running back, and three new players in the secondary. We discuss how these signings fit in and whether that will change the Steelers draft plans. To wrap things up, we discuss Jeremy Fowler's report that the Steelers were "all-in" on Justin Fields and they gave a very competitive offer to him.
