Today we have on the super talented Jesse Frausto! He's a local tattoo artist with Knuckle Head Tattoo, who has a wildly successful career and is among the top tattoo artists in Arizona. We had an absolute blast talking with him about his humble beginnings and how he became a local legend! We find out that Nickleback is his favorite band and we have some GREAT laughs chatting about that. We pulled up some weird and unconventional tattoos and got his perspective on them as well. Unfortunately, the mic was muted during that potion of the show so you'll have to turn it up really loud if you wanna watch/listen to that part. Dick meets the man of his dreams at a bar and his name is Hippo. Dick decides to see if Hippo wanted to be a guest on the podcast and he said YES! Tonight we find out about this amazing man. The boys touch on many topics including Hippos experience in the army, how and why he moved to Arizona, religion, music and food. The boys also share silly videos with Hippo and get his reaction. Let's just say, most of the laughs happen in that section of the podcast. Finally, Hippo jumps on the acoustic bass, Boonies grabs a guitar and Dick drunkenly sings to an impromptu jam session. The guest planned for today's episode bailed on us again but the show must go on! Dick explains why Boonie's should switch over to Instagram. The police officer from their high school devastatingly passed away this week so the boys share a few stories in commemoration. Dick lines up four TikTok videos for Boonies to watch and comment on for this weeks segment of Cam's Corner. And finally, feeling inspired, Dick forces Boonies to make their very first "trendy" TikTok video to post online. It's just the boys on this weeks episode. Boonies misses Dick's birthday party but shares the unfortunate reasons why. They go in deep about the various ins and outs of escape rooms. Dick is almost arrested in the airport for having a very bad attitude as a result of searing back pain. Also, Dick shares about masturbating while being electrocuted. The boys continue with discussions about miracle whip and tomahawk steaks. The episode rounds out with a group discussion of how Dick can play the character in his next commercial audition. On today's episode the boys meet Michael Hunt. Michael is a videographer, photographer, musician and all around great human being. His silly and chill vibes instantly set the tone for a fantastic show. The boys ask him about his career and also find out what it was like to be raised by a mother in the Navy. Micheal discusses his showering routine as well as talks about pop culture from the 90's. He goes on to explain his experiences not "fitting" into the black stereotypes but rather just being a dude who grew up in San Diego. The episode completes with an OUTSTANDING game of 'Drunken Sailor'.

Boonies is on summer vacation and Dick is left all alone with his 3 children. Ella, Joon and Charlie Carlise crash the podcast today! Charlie doesn't stop moving around, touching the mic and continuously moves the boom. Dick becomes frustrated because the mic keeps blocking Charlie's face from the camera. But Charlie does eventually give the best response to why we celebrate the 4th of July. Next, Joon steps in after Charlie becomes bored. Joon talks about her best friend and love interest Roman. She also talks about kindness, but the little black thing surrounding her heart makes her stand up to mean people and helps her when she's in danger. Finally, Dick's oldest daughter, Ella, takes the co-captains mic and absolutely steals the show with deep insight and the ability to actually have a normal conversation. Dick shares a few startling pieces of information with Ella that she never knew, including the two times he was suspended in 1st grade. A few tears were held back, a few laughs were had, and Dick realizes that maybe having his children on the pod wasn't the best idea in the world lol Big shout out to Kendall Day for stepping in as guest producer once again and filling in the laugh track that most D & B fans have come to love about the show. Final episode before Boonies takes a 2 week hiatus. This week the boys rarely stay on topic. Things start out by discussing various comedy podcasts, including, Tiger Belly (featuring Bobby Lee) and end up with the boys talking about what their final meal would be if they were going to get the electric chair. All the silliness in between needs to be either viewed or listened to because trying to explain it got kinda weird lol

Which is better? Hershey's chocolate syrup or Nesquik powder for your chocolate milk? Dick and Boonies share their thoughts on this weeks episode. Also, how dark do you like it? Yeah, we're talking about the issues that matter! Dick also got a CALL BACK for the commercial he spoke about in the previous episode. So, Dick shares about his call back experience. Boonies stubbed his pinky toe right before the show but was treated to an unexpected icy bath compliments of a clumsy Dick move. Cambadoonies from the Boonies turns the big 37 today! He talks about his feelings about turning such an age, including the difficulties of maintaining his health as the years pass by. Dick goes through a list of celebrities who also share the same birthday as well as a list of celebs who turned 37 this year. Doug Gourley (a long time friend and previous guest on the show) calls in to wish Boonies a happy birthday. Dick gives Boonies a quick "Cam's Corner" video to analyze that includes some pretty dope guitar riffs. Then the boys go into a more detailed discussion about how different guitar players are viewed as "good" in the industry. Technically good vs. commercially good. Finally, Dick talks about a new love interest that seems to really make him happy.

Today's episode is a quickie but packs a punch! So many odd topics discussed. From the boys reminiscing about Mickey's 40's to A1 steak sauce. Also, French dressing is bull shit along with Circus Peanuts and Necco Wafers. You know it's true. Dick, then shares a story about a homeless woman being pushed in a grocery store cart in the actual kids seat. That was cool. Then, The Linda Lindas, go viral on social media for their hit song, Racist Sexist Boys. Finally, the episode completes with a short BDSM story and the sandwich artist from Subway's nerve ending hanging out of his mouth. Dope shit! Enjoy!

Wes Borland, the legendary and costume wearing rock icon, most popularly known for being the guitar player of Limp Bizkit, joins the show today! Wes was incredibly candid and completely open talking on a variety of topics. Most currently, Wes shares about his live steaming show ‘Space Zebra' that has begun to catch fire on Twitch. Go check that out because it absolutely incredible! He was so gracious with his time and played along with every single silly question we threw at him. We talked "side project" releases, if there was any backlash regarding his heroic comments relating to Marilyn Manson, and the time Wes leaned back in a chair, accidentally destroying it. He was captivating, funny and truly insightful. We couldn't possibly thank him enough for carving out some time in his busy schedule and can't wait to have him back (IN STUDIO) the next time he cruises through town.

On todays episode, Kendall Day, steps in as guest producer while Taylor gets paid actual money for a real job. Dick brings up a story about him and his son at the self check-out lane in a grocery store. Boonies shares his knowledge of deviled ham and receives a sweet parenting hack from Dick. Dick also asks Boonies is he would remove a skin tag from his armpit and Boonies happily obliges. Finally, Dick shares another story about a person who defecates in a public restroom and Kendall gives the boys 'would you rather questions' that lead into several silly stories.  

The boys met Gale a long long long long time ago, before the rain, before the snow. Gale was an integral part of the local AZ music scene, playing guitar in several bad ass bands. The boys chat about growing up in the scene, what bands and musicians they looked up to, and Gale brings in his brick shit house of a CD case and reveals a few gems he had locked inside. Gale shares a bit of his health journey, that included his experience with cancer. Gale is also part owner of an artisanal, hand crafted, small batch spice company called, Venture Spice Co. Dick and Boonies ask all the questions about whats its been like running that business so far and what's to come of the company moving forward. As mentioned before, last weeks episode was shot in Producer Taylor's condo due to Dick's brother recovering from open heart surgery. If you're new to the Podcast, Dick's brother Ben lives in the guest house where the podcast is shot and recorded. Thus, the change in location. Today, Ben shares his overall experience with heart disease. Symptoms leading up to finding out, the day he was given the news, measures taken leading up to surgery, surgery day, and finally, what recovering from the surgery looks like for him. Ben is an absolute LEGEND of a talented man. He's an incredible musician, he's dynamite on the gaming joy stick, and he's well learned about all things astrological. Given the nature of this particular episode, we were unable to discuss these wonderful qualities. BUT, he's coming back on a near future episode to discuss all those things! The end of the episode includes two quizzes. Stick around and watch/listen to the full episode to find out what the topics were. Boonies work schedule has been bananas and kept him from appearing in this weeks episode as well. We surely hope he will return on next weeks!  

Dick's brother, Ben, lives in the podcast studio/guesthouse. Ben had open heart surgery and returned home today. Thus, we had to switch locations for todays episode. ALSO, Boonies had work. He was unable to attend this weeks recording of the show. HOWEVER, Dick sits down with producer Taylor's girlfriend, Alex. Dick finds out about how the two came to be. Dick gives Alex a Jewish quiz, they play a game of 'would you rather?', and finally, Dick hosts Alex and Taylor during a rousing game of The Newlywed Game!

There's no way else to put it..Today was a mess. Single topic discussions took far too long to get through and were filled with endless side discussions. AND THAT'S THE WAY WE DO IT!! LOL The boys had such a fun time during this episode. They spoke on many topics that will leave you wondering why you continue to watch or listen to their show. Today the boys chat with Dan Noonan. Not only was Dan a successful ROCK STAR musician but he's also a dear friend for 20 years! He played in Depswa, jammed with members of Static-X and Spineshank. Topics discussed included Dan's background, his journey into and through music, various touring stories and what he's been up to since moving to the GREAT state of Arizona. Finally, Dan agrees to answers social media questions and gives us a story we won't soon forget!

  Kendall Day works for a company called AZK9 Rescue and is an ambassador for the well-being and safety of many dogs without homes. The boys also just so happen to have known Kendall for decades and consider him not just a friend but family. He's absolutely hilarious, knowledgeable, witty and completely down to earth. Juniper AKA Juni (one of Kendall's rescues) also makes a star studded appearance. The beautiful chihuahua steals the show by taking the cutest nap on Boonies lap during the entirety of the episode! The boys discuss Kendall's work, favorite Podcasts and stand up comedians, golf and a ton more! We did it folks! The Dick and Boonies Podcast survived and persevered through 50 episodes. First and foremost we'd like to thank each and every person who watches, listens and supports this stupid little Podcast. It really means the world to us! We have zero intention on stopping anytime soon because we just have way too much fun making each episode. Your continued love and support would be greatly appreciated. Much love! Today, the boys take a step into the past. We received an email that sparked several stories reminiscing about what it was like to grow up in the Phoenix (Arcadia) area in the late 90's early 2000's. School, teachers, security guards, the canal, and lunch room confrontations. Dick also shares his decision to start enjoying adult beverages again and addresses his reasons for making that decision. Producer Taylor had tummy trouble and had to leave during the episode so Dick and Boonies were left alone. With "Dad" being gone, the boys were a little unhinged and went 30 minutes over the "normal" Podcast length.

Jeremy Shockley joins the Podcast today. This man can literally do it all, and in fact, he does it all. He's a finely tuned musician and studio engineer that has rubbed shoulders with the entertainment industries elites. He's started companies from the ground up as well as performed live improv and sketch comedy for 5 years. Unfortunately (or actually fortunately), Jeremy's  intellect far surpasses the likes of Dick and Boonies so the boys spend most of the episode picking their jaw off the floor in awe. Jeremy shares about his humble beginnings, his trajectory into the music and entertainment scenes, and tells stories about meeting and working side by side various top shell celebs including Paul McCartney and the boys of Deftones. This episode is top to bottom packed full of music, sillines, intellect and mind blowing stories. We hope you enjoy the show!   

On todays episode, the boys sit down and talk with Michael Albee. He's a long time school friend, attorney, author, yogi, father and all around beautiful person. Michale has just finished writing a book and the boys had the honor of discussing a few of the details. Many other topics were discussed but a few specifics included, what Mike's life looked like directly following high school, the humble beginnings of becoming a father, the course of events leading to the decision of law school, some of the weird cases hes worked and dating. The easy going, charismatic, and very funny, Michael Albee steals the show today!
