A church for every generation and nation.

In light of Pastor Chris' absence this Sunday, as he ministers on the West Coast, we received the message from Pastor Dave Shanosk. Pastor Dave builds upon the ongoing theme of walking worthy in Christ, the spiritual gifts received by believers, and the call to put on the new man. All who have accepted Christ are now set apart to live a consecrated and holy life for God — abandoning the ways of their old life and embracing the fruitfulness of the new life they have been given. As Pastor Dave powerfully reminded us, "we must resist the temptation to look like the world to gain its approval."

After learning how to walk worthy in the previous two weeks, we now pivot to spiritual gifts and how they are distributed throughout the body of Christ (his church). In this sermon Pastor Chris goes over the 5-fold gifts given to the church- Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Shepherd, and Teacher, and how these gifts all contribute to the maturity of the body by edifying in love to one another. Give glory to God who from the Exodus all the way to the cross, has poured out his spirit and has decided to function amongst his people for the salvation of the world.

This Sunday we stay in Ephesians 4 where Pastor Chris builds off of Pastor Dana's message from the previous week. The primary passage focused on in this message is Ephesians 4: 1-7; where Pastor Chris highlights the redeeming power of the Gospel brining in life and light to all the nations, therefore with that in mind we should be 'walking out' the faith in accordance with what Christ has given us through his sacrifice on the cross. We should examine all of ourselves for the signs of maturity which come flow forth forth from the body of Christ (his church.

After last weeks pre-recorded messages with guest minister Samuel Whitefield and Pastor Chris, we are back in the book of Ephesians. Pastor Dana camps out in chapter 4 of the book, where Paul lays out the riches (spiritually) which are gifted to those in Christ, showing us how by receiving these riches we should now "walk out" our faith, that by unity with both the Holy Spirit and the body of Christ (The Church), we can love others as God has loved us and bring the grace and mercy of God to the world.

With the end of our church's XXI Day Fast, we welcome guest preacher Samuel Whitefield, who offers a powerful talk about what it means to be a "Lord here I am, send me" church (Isaiah 6:8) and how believers might carry it out throughout the new year.

ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT FOR THE XXI DAY FAST! a wonderful milestone that is going to be shared with the WOL family, as we set our sights on this final week. Pray for endurance to finish the race strongly and to end the fast illuminated by the presence of Christ in a deeper way than when you began it.This Sunday Pastor Chris continues the Ephesians series by hopping right in to chapter 3 of the book. Paul in this chapter lays out the glory of the church of Christ, one where heaven and earth have been reconciled, and one where generations of saints (a cloud of witnesses) cheer us on to finish the race. This communal element of the church is done by design so that we may know God more deeply and be stretched so that our love may increase in him—"There are depths of God's love that you will never know apart from gathering with Christ-followers who are different from you," Pastor Chris. Do not be afraid to encounter those depths.

In this sermon Pastor Chris stays in Ephesians 3, where Paul reveals the mystery of God's plan: that the Gentiles are now fellow heirs of Christ through the Gospel. He emphasizes God's grace in entrusting him with this revelation and calls us to understand the immeasurable richness of God's mercy. This sermon explores how God's unifying love breaks barriers and invites all people into His eternal purpose.

WOL ushers in the New Year with an essential message, offering an opportunity to equip everyone with a renewed outlook for their lives in 2026. Pastor Chris continues the Ephesians series by delivering a message centered on repentance, the free gift of grace, and the works of God that become evident in the life of a believer who embraces that gift. We are reminded that it is not our own efforts that grant us salvation, but God working through us that produces good works—“not saved by works, but saved for works.” Let 2026 reveal clear evidence of the fruit God has brought forth in your life.

After last week's cancelled service due to the snow, we gather this Sunday and find ourselves back in the book of Ephesians! Where Pastor Chris gives us a needed message of how Christ has come into the physical realm to reconcile the spiritual and the natural, bringing all of the virtues that are found in Him to those that also follow Him (Christians). This is the Revelation of the Gospel: because of Him we have been brought from death to life and darkness to light. Rejoice! that even as we await to be in His eternal presence, we can bring many virtues that are found in Heaven down to the Earth.

As we pause the Ephesians series due to Pastor Chris's absence, this Sunday we receive an edifying word from Apostle Dave Carey (Founder of WOL). In this sermon he goes in to the depths of Deuteronomy 8, exploring the final words of Moses to the people of Israel before entering into the promise land. In this chapter of the Bible Moses encourages the tribe of Israel to remember the promises and blessings God had once provided and to keep that recollection as they were now entering in to the land which was promised to them, Apostle Dave applies these truths to our life by encouraging us as believers to never forget that God was with us in our trials and he remains with us even in our blessings. Do you have a faith that can be tested, and pass the test?

In Pastor Chris' return he begins with a quick recap of his edifying experience with our brother's and sisters in Asia, where he shared the gospel and the fruits of the spirit across the globe. With this first message back he picks up right where Pastor Dana left off by shining light on the growing identity crisis that plagues the world. Pastor Chris also explains the way we encounter God's revelation and knowledge through poetry and song, a direct reflection of Paul's linguistic style in Ephesians. Rejoice! in being made sons and daughters united to the identity of Christ.

Due to Pastor Chris's absence as he spends some time in Asia sharing the gospel and growing the fruits of the church, Pastor Dana picks up right where he left off with the Ephesians series. In this message she speaks on the difference between the identity of the world and the identity all Christians share in Christ, that by choosing him we learn that "he has already chosen us". Get ready to learn about what it means to have a "blessed identity", and to live our lives in "Him" (Christ).

Pastor Chris this Sunday goes past the first verse and now dives in to the first 3 chapters of Ephesians! He examines the artistic literary style of the Apostle Paul, and shows its mirror like style which bounces off similar ideas culminating in to one singular point. This Sunday we see the importance of praising the Lord, praying to him, and remembering our fallen spiritual condition requiring his salvation. Praise God for saving us not because we deserved it but because he loved us and let that love/grace carry over in to all our relationships.

Following last week's conclusion of the Ephesians origin story series, Pastor Chris has finally cracked the door open on the Book of Ephesians!. In this service Pastor Chris presents us with a biography about the Apostle Paul/Saul and his journey from a young rabbinic student/apprentice all the way to his conversion as a messenger for our Lord Jesus Christ. Join us as we explore salvation, weakness, and humility through the lens of the life of Paul and the prophets of the OT.

This communion Sunday Pastor Chris continues his Ephesians series with continued context and world building to understand how the church has changed history. In this sermon, Pastor Chris goes over Ephesus' unique exposure to not one but 3 apostolic figures (Paul, Apostle John, and Timothy), and yet today there is no prominent church in its modern day location of Turkey. Join us in learning the balance of grace and agreeing with scripture, and the importance of remembering the first love of the church, Christ

In part 4 of the Ephesians (Origin Story) series by Pastor Chris Rue, he continues to highlight the historical context of the people at Ephesus and how Paul's ministry being preached in the 'fullness of time' was able to change the course of history. In this service, Pastor Chris emphasizes the distinction between the physical and spiritual realms and how Christ's triumphant victory on the cross has united these two realities and has equipped every believer with protection and authority against the spiritual attacks of the enemy. Join us once again for another buildup to the book of Ephesians, which teaches us the early years of the church.

This service will be part 3 of the Ephesians series by Pastor Chris Rue. In this message he builds off the two previous messages by highlighting prominent figures in Acts (Acts 18-19), such as Apollos a man who shared the testimony of John the Baptist but was later given the full story of Christ' redemption story through those appointed by the apostle Paul. Dive in to exposition of church history, human history, and the truths by which the church has spread across the globe.

On this episode of "THE HUB with Chris and Dana", Chris and Dana sit down with WOL Worship Leader Brandon Still.

In this episode, Pastors Chris and Dana tackle and dive into marriage questions submitted by couples from the church.
