Mark Booker | Exodus 33:12-34:10 | Moses's intercession leads to God revealing his character as "merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love"—showing that His presence among sinful people depends on his grace. This ultimately points to his glory on the cross where God is made most fully known as Jesus bears our sin and shows us mercy. This revelation of God is the good news that our world needs.
That You May Believe, Part 4: John 1:14-18Ps Matt is preaching a message titled “Made Known” as we behold the glory of Jesus—the God who doesn't stay distant, but dwells with us and makes the Father known.

ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT FOR THE XXI DAY FAST! a wonderful milestone that is going to be shared with the WOL family, as we set our sights on this final week. Pray for endurance to finish the race strongly and to end the fast illuminated by the presence of Christ in a deeper way than when you began it.This Sunday Pastor Chris continues the Ephesians series by hopping right in to chapter 3 of the book. Paul in this chapter lays out the glory of the church of Christ, one where heaven and earth have been reconciled, and one where generations of saints (a cloud of witnesses) cheer us on to finish the race. This communal element of the church is done by design so that we may know God more deeply and be stretched so that our love may increase in him—"There are depths of God's love that you will never know apart from gathering with Christ-followers who are different from you," Pastor Chris. Do not be afraid to encounter those depths.
Your Uncertainty and Fear Lead to Anxiety; About What Are You Anxious, and Have You “let your requests be made known to God”? MESSAGE SUMMARY: From Philippians 6, Paul tells us: “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”. What are you anxious about? If you are in Christ, Jesus tells us to present our request to the Lord. In Matthew 6:6-8, Jesus instructs His followers how to come to God in prayer: “But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.". If you are in Christ, you can talk to God and present your issues and requests to Him as if He knows nothing about your situation. You must ask God through your regular prayer life and your personal relationship with God, the Creator of the Universe. What are you anxious about? In Matthew 6:34, Jesus assures His followers that “anxiety” is counterproductive: “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”. TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, after his loss, you gave Job prosperity, blessing him with twice as much as he had before, but that has not always felt like my experience. Grant me patience. Help me to trust and wait on you, especially in those areas of my life where I have no idea what you are doing, when my hardship will end, or where you are taking me. In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 115). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Evil Ways. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit's fruit of Goodness. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f). What was once hidden is now beautifully revealed. In this rich, verse-by-verse teaching through Ephesians 3, Mason Tucker unfolds the breathtaking “mystery of Christ” and why it matters so deeply for us today.Preaching at RiverSide Church in Princeton, NC, Mason traces how God's redemptive plan—hinted at throughout the Old Testament—comes fully into focus through the person of Jesus Christ. He explains how those once considered outsiders, particularly the Gentiles, are no longer kept at a distance by religious boundaries or regulations. Because of Christ, the doors are flung wide open, and all are welcomed into God's family. As a founding member of Rock Bottom Ministries in Johnston County, Mason brings a pastoral warmth and a deep love for Scripture, carefully walking listeners through the text while keeping the message accessible, hopeful, and Christ-centered. This sermon reminds us that the gospel is not exclusive or elite—it is an invitation of grace to all who were once far off.If you've ever felt on the outside looking in, or wondered how God's big story fits together, this message will encourage your heart and strengthen your faith. Tune in and be reminded that in Christ, the mystery is revealed—and you are invited in.
In this Epiphany sermon on Ephesians 3:3–6, The Mystery Made Known, we hear the good news that what was once hidden has now been fully revealed in Christ Jesus. Epiphany is not about human discovery, but divine revelation. God makes known His saving purpose: that Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ through the Gospel. This sermon proclaims Christ as the Light who comes not only for Israel, but for the nations—for sinners once far off and now brought near by His blood. From the Magi at Bethlehem to the Church gathered today, God reveals His mystery through Word and Sacrament. This is a deeply confessional Lutheran sermon, emphasizing Law and Gospel, Christ's saving work alone, and the unity of the Church grounded not in culture or merit, but in Christ Himself. You will hear how Epiphany confronts human pride, exposes division, and comforts troubled consciences with the certainty of grace. This sermon is ideal for those seeking faithful LCMS preaching, Epiphany theology, and Christ-centered proclamation rooted in Holy Scripture (ESV).Support this ministry here:

Luke 2:7-20. The shepherds would never be the same again after the revelation they were given about the birth and identity of Jesus. In the same way, as Christians, God has given us understanding of the Saviour and our salvation! Like the shepherds, we praise God for all that we have seen and heard! […]

December 7, 2025 - Rev. Alexander S. Brown
In this Advent sermon, The Mystery Made Known, Rev. Dr. Lewis Galloway reflects on God's surprising way of working through ordinary people and unexpected moments. Drawing from 2 Samuel 7:1–16 and Luke 1:26–38, he explores how God's promises often unfold in ways we could never foresee—and how Mary's faithful "yes" invites us to trust the mystery of God's presence in our own lives. Sermon preached by Rev. Dr. Lewis Galloway on December 7, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church of Charlotte.
What happens when sex and gender get pulled apart, and families are left to navigate the fallout alone? We dig into that tension with Pastor Gregory Lyon, exploring a path that refuses to compromise biblical integrity while refusing to give up on people who are hurting. Starting from Genesis 1–2, we unpack why God's design for male and female still frames identity after the fall, how cultural stereotypes muddy the water, and why clarity doesn't have to sound like a hammer.Greg shares the story behind Made Known—a ministry designed to serve strugglers and the loved ones who walk with them. The name says it all: wonderfully made, fully known. Most of the messages they receive are from parents and grandparents who love a child, fear saying the wrong thing, and want practical steps they can take today. We talk through the realities they face, from pronoun questions to whether to attend a ceremony, and how to keep a relationship open without erasing truth. Along the way, we draw on Dr. Mark Yarhouse's three lenses—integrity, disability, and diversity—to explain why conversations stall and how to restart them with shared understanding. This is a guide for anyone who feels stuck between conviction and compassion. You'll hear why listening comes before correcting, how to avoid reducing a person to a single issue, and how to pursue heart change rather than mere behavior management. We also offer language and examples for parents who feel the urgency to “fix it now,” pointing instead to patient faith that trusts Christ with the work only he can do. If your goal is one more honest conversation tomorrow, this will help you get there. If this resonates, subscribe, share the episode with a friend who needs it, and leave a review to help others find it. This message reflects on the depth of God's love revealed through Jesus Christ. At the cross we see the One who knew no sin made sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. In Christ, God's love is not just spoken but demonstrated—perfect, sacrificial, and transforming. The post God's Love Made Known in Christ appeared first on Preachers Corner.

There are a lot of areas in life where it is ok to lack certainty. However, when it comes to our relationship with God, we should want to know for certain Who He is and what He is really like. Thankfully God wants His people to know the true nature of His character and love. Join us this week as we begin our summer series through 1 John - "Love Made Known".

I love finding treasures in a field. Finding Doug Koskela and his work was delightful. He serves through the Free Methodist Church as a professor at Seattle Pacific University, where he teaches Wesleyan Theology, epistemology of theology, vocation and ecclesiology. His is a member of the Wesleyan Theological Society and author of three books. Today, we'll focus on his latest, The Radiance of God: Christian Doctrine through the Image of Divine Light. We will also dip into the content of a forthcoming book – Made Known to Them: An Invitation to the Study of Theology – which is an invitation to the study of theology, mainly for beginners, framed by the Emmaus road story in Luke 24. Watch for it at the end of this year.
