I can't thank you enough for tuning into this season. It is personally one of my favorites because of where I am at in my healing journey and also being able to share one of my favorite healing tools, journal prompts. I know healing can be exhausting and defeating at times, too. I've also seen so many rewards from it, so that is why I share. Take breaks, give yourself a breather, and know it is ever-evolving, also PLEASE KNOW you're not alone, and you're capable of doing it. I love you. Talk soon.  FINAL(BONUS) PROMPT: What do you want to say to them? (Let whatever needs to come up, come up)

Journal Prompt 8 of 8. Are you ready to geek out about yourself?!!?!? Let's do it together! I am a BIG fan of this. One thing I say often is, "If I am going to gush over others, I better be doing it for me, too". Let's gush over each other!  PROMPT 8: What is something you wouldn't want to change about yourself?

Journal Prompt 7: What is your earliest recollection of happiness?

Journal Prompt 7 of 8. Happiness is not the destination... yet, something to note, nurture, and cherish! Also, did you clap when your food came out as a kid? even as an adult now? No, just me? ;)  PROMPT 7: What is your earliest recollection of happiness?

Journal Prompt 6: What's the most pain you've ever been in that wasn't physical?

When I experienced 2 of the biggest losses we can experience in life (the loss of a parent and an ending of a relationship), it showed me similarities that brought up a lot of this non-physical pain.  PROMPT 6: What's the most pain you've ever been in that wasn't physical?

I create the space for myself and I hope for you as well to talk about this to be able to hear about the people in our lives that we miss, how that affects us, and ultimately how we are healing this part of our lives.   PROMPT 3: Are you missing anyone right now? and are they missing you?

Welcome back to Words2Heal! Season 4 is all about my favorite healing tool, journal prompts. For the longest time, I have valued this healing modality and I felt called to share 8 journal prompts to see if this is something that you are in need of, too.  Research suggests that journaling can help us accept rather than judge our mental experiences, resulting in fewer negative emotions in response to stressors (Ford, Lam, John, & Mauss, 2018; Baikie & Wilhelm, 2005). I can't wait to talk to you more this season!

I share a few of mine to see if we can look at these stories a bit differently... Let go of the tight grip it has on us... See how we can heal them and know we are NOT ALONE at all when it comes to them.  I love you. Thank you for joining me this Season.  I hope it has served you as much as it has served me.  Sending love. Talk soon.

In this episode, I share what nature journaling is from my perspective, how you can do it, and the amount of healing it can have on you. Also, listen to me geek out on this "simple" yet, impactful healing tool.

I highly doubt you want to "Schedule in Pain". It sounds really awful actually. Before you run, maybe think about it this way... we need to live our lives whether we are in pain or not. This is a way that we can also let unfavorable feelings move through in a timely manner, what we are capable of, and ultimately out there living as fully as we can. This is by far one of my favorite things to do..."Schedule In Pain" when things are heavy or I need to process. Get out your calendars... and let's get to work, healing. I promise this resource is a gem.
