Dr. Camden Bucey speaks at the Reformed Forum Annual Theology Conference, held at Lakeland Church in Gurnee, Illinois on September 27, 2025. Dr. Bucey weaves together the themes of the previous lectures into one coherent narrative centered on Christ. The address establishes that the entire grand narrative of Scripture, from the promise of the serpent-crushing seed in Eden to the apocalyptic visions of Daniel, is converging on the single, brilliant point of Christ's person and work. Dr. Bucey emphasizes that Christ's incarnation, life, death, resurrection, and ascension constitute the central objective act of redemption and bring the era of special revelation to its completion. The focus is on Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God, who is the ultimate fulfillment of all covenant promises and redemptive types, particularly the Passover, and the one who brings history to its appointed, glorious consummation, which is the eternal Sabbath rest of God's kingdom. Delivered by Jeril from the Parish of Saint Joseph in the Archdiocese of Makassar, Indonesia. Romans 8: 1-11; Rs psalm 24: 1-2.3-4ab.5-6; Luke 13: 1-9.DO NOT FORGET TOREPENT Our meditation today isentitled: Do Not Forget to Repent. At a Catholic school, every student is givena school bag in mixed white and black. On both sides it is written the samesentence that says: "Don't forget to pass exams." This reminds everystudent all the times both at home and at school, that their goal of schoolingis to pass their exams and eventually become good and useful persons. Theschool bag is like an angel that always attracts their attention and remindsthem of the important things regarding study. In relation with oursalvation after death, the reminder that must be written in our hearts, mindsand bodies must be the following: Do not forget to repent. For every believer, repentance is an absolute condition for salvation and a happy life forever. Asbelievers, we understand the act of repentance. We are always reminded that torepent is to change ourselves from being tortured because of sins, to become aperson who is free from sins and be forgiven the the merciful God. To those who do notyet know Christ and who choose to oppose Him, repentance also the importantreminder to them. In the end, everyone who was created by God must find himselfor herself worthy and pure to live in God's Kingdom. Worthiness is of coursecharacterized by experiences of change or repentance. The Lord Jesus is dealingwith people who do not believe and who oppose Him. Then He resolutelydemanded that they must repent from their evil and cruel behavior towards theirneighbours. They must be loving, gentle, and peace-oriented people. Bothbelievers and non-believers, the message of repentance is a call that touchesthe soul, because change must happen in human mental and soul. It can evenhappen, the believers can become more sinfull than those of non-believers. Therefore, this call can be a turning point for them to embrace a new life which is to walkin the way to the Lord. The reminder torepent is so important beside for our daily lives, also in urgent moment whensomeone is dying. In other words, in facing the moment of near death in thisworld, the appeal: "Do not forget to repent" is very fundamental. This is very useful because someone who dies, he or she must bring himself assomeone who has been forgiven from some or all of his or her sins. Then he orshe will be very pleased to God, the just Judge. But if he or she has notconverted and repented, then the fatal consequences will befall him or her.Let's pray. In the name of the Father... O most loving Jesus, open our hearts to easily forgive our fellow brothersand sisters who have sinned against us. Make us forgiving persons like Yourself. Our Father who art in heaven ... In the name of the Father ...

Often, when we think about boundaries, we imagine a list of rules and restrictions like: you can't do this, you can do this, and if you don't do this, this is going to happen. But this isn't actually the essence of a boundary and it's not what the boundary is designed for.  Setting boundaries is actually a courageous act that requires self-awareness and self-love. It's about prioritizing your own well-being and honoring your own needs. And by understanding the importance of boundaries, we can navigate relationships and maintain our connection to ourselves. Join Lisa in this episode where you're invited to embrace a more flexible approach to boundaries … but we get it - even the words "flexible" and "boundary" may seem contradictory to you right now.  Here's what you'll learn:  Why boundaries are flexible and can change from moment to moment; How setting boundaries is about taking responsibility for ourselves, not controlling others; How to recognize the clues (in our bodies) that tell us when it's time to set a boundary;  Why nervous system work is essential for boundary work; Different ways to set boundaries, such as redirecting, being honest, or removing oneself from the situation; Why rejection often makes setting boundaries challenging (... and when we don't set a boundary, how it's a form of self-rejection);  Why sometimes perceived deal breakers aren't actually deal breakers; and How to translate this more relational-boundary setting into our work as clinicians. Tune in to this episode and discover how honoring your boundaries not only allows for connection and maintains relationships, but is a deep act of self-love and acknowledgement of your own worthiness. ✨ Additional Resources:

What if your worth wasn't tied to your revenue, your output, or anyone else's approval? In this episode, Kris takes us deeper into the heart of worthiness and why so many high-achieving women still wrestle with believing in themselves—even after building successful companies, raising families, and achieving goals most people only dream of. Kris breaks down the difference between self-trust (believing yourself) and self-worth (believing in yourself), and why the latter is the quiet, constant hum that shapes everything you do. She explores how conditional worth shows up in subtle ways—like people pleasing, avoiding difficult conversations, or downplaying your own success—and why guilt over what you've built is often a sign you don't fully own your value yet. Here's what we explore in this episode: The false scorecards and hidden “supervisors” you've been measuring yourself against Why women tie worth to achievement, perfection, or proving How guilt for your success erodes confidence and leadership Why rest can be a radical act of reclaiming value What it looks like to live differently when you truly know your worth This episode is your invitation to stop proving, release guilt, and reclaim the truth: you are already the prize. You matter. Not because of what you achieve, how productive you are, or the success of your business or career—but simply because you exist. That is the message at the heart of the She Rises book, and it's the truth so many of us need to hear when we're questioning our worthiness. In this episode, I begin exploring the themes of She Rises: Insights and Wisdom from the Women of the Masterful Coach Collective. I've co-authored this powerful new book with 12 incredible women, and it's filled with stories of resilience, healing, and transformation that anyone can resonate with. These women are skilled coaches who are fantastic at what they do, but what makes this book so special is the way all of them have chosen the path of self-connection. You'll hear about the tremendous challenges they have faced and how they have leaned into them, choosing expansion over simply surviving in every season of life. They have cultivated so much strength and wisdom within themselves, and that's what they bring to you throughout this book.No matter which chapter you're reading, the core message of She Rises is that you matter. Many people don't realize how true that statement really is–they walk around wrestling with their sense of worthiness, trying to find it by running themselves ragged, doomscrolling, and searching for validation in what others think of them. But here's the truth: none of those things that seem to be able to increase our worth will ever work. You can't change your worth; it just is. That realization has transformed my life, and I know it can transform yours too. When you can create self-connection, know your worth, and understand that you matter regardless of anything you do or don't do, that is when the magic within you emerges, and your unique energy and gifts ripple through the world. I'm so glad you're here with me to explore this truth and the wisdom of She Rises. Let's get started! What you'll learn:The stories and perspectives from several chapters of the She Rises bookHow cultivating self-connection allows you to answer your inner call with courageThe truth about worthiness: you matter regardless of your achievementsMy experience with chronic fatigue syndrome and how I came to know my worthWhy the most powerful wisdom in She Rises comes from the author's lived experiences, not just coaching methodsYou can read the full show notes here.Meet the authors of She Rises: Insights and Wisdom from the Women of the Masterful Coach CollectiveMichelle Keil “The Doodle Coach” - Master Certified Holistic Coach and Doodling Coach & InstructorCarla Green - Master Certified Life CoachMargo Fordonski - Master Certified Life Coach & Grief EducatorJackie Swainson - Master Certified Life Coach & Midlife MentorKelly Arthur - Certified Life Coach

Without it, you cannot enter Mormon temples, where sacred ordinances such as baptisms for the dead, eternal marriages, and endowments are performed. To get one, every member must answer the same 16 “worthiness questions” in interviews with both their local bishop and their stake president.Layne, who held temple recommends for decades before leaving Mormonism, explains what these questions are, what they test, and how they compare with the Bible's teaching about salvation, worthiness, and grace. What Is a Temple Recommend?A temple recommend is a physical card (now often digitized) that allows a Mormon to enter any LDS temple worldwide. It is valid for two years, after which the member must repeat the interview process to renew it.For many Mormons, obtaining a recommend is the pinnacle of religious devotion. From childhood classes to teenage priesthood offices, LDS culture builds anticipation for the temple. Preparation includes six weeks of temple prep classes and then the recommend interview. The interview itself consists of 16 standardized questions. These questions are designed to measure whether someone is “worthy” to enter the temple. But as Layne explains, they often test external performance more than internal faith. What the Questions Really TestThe first few questions sound straightforward:Do you have faith in God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost?Do you have a testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and His role as Savior and Redeemer? At face value, many Christians could answer “yes.” But the problem arises in the definitions. A biblical Christian would describe God as one eternal Being in three persons—the Father, Son, and Spirit. Yet Mormonism defines them as three separate gods. Similarly, Mormons often emphasize Jesus' suffering in Gethsemane rather than His finished work on the cross. The result? The questions aren't just about belief in God or Christ—they're about belief in the LDS version of God and Christ.Other questions reveal more clearly the institutional loyalty expected:Do you have a testimony of the “restoration” of the gospel through Joseph Smith?Do you sustain the current prophet and apostles as seers and revelators?Do you support or promote any teachings contrary to those of the LDS...

On this episode we talk about: Sarah and Jill's early hustles and lessons in work ethic Why they created a rigorous, accredited intuitive psychology coaching curriculum The pitfalls of unregulated coaching and why credentials matter What intuitive psychology means—and how it transforms coaching and personal development How limiting beliefs and a lack of self-worth sabotage earning potential The role of unconditional belonging, safety, and self-acceptance in personal and financial growth Their approach to business partnership and lessons learned in collaboration Top 3 Takeaways 1.  Intuitive psychology bridges evidence-based psychology with ancient wisdom to create real change—making unconscious patterns conscious for transformation.2.  Limiting beliefs around money typically stem from deep-seated feelings of safety and worthiness; making more money starts with inner acceptance and rewriting root narratives.3.  Open, honest communication is essential for successful business partnerships; shared vision, values, and willingness to confront issues lead to resilient collaboration. Notable Quotes "We work with intuition and the unconscious to break those repeating cycles—95% of behavior is driven by what's beneath the surface." "Worthiness is linked to conditional belonging… you have to dismantle the old rules and discover unconditional acceptance before true transformative growth." "Entrepreneurship can be lonely, but partnership—with communication and shared vision—creates a bedrock for success." In this timeless, we explore the “ladder” - the system of hierarchies that tells us which bodies are worthy and which are not. From racism, ableism and capitalism to beauty standards and perfectionism, the ladder keeps us climbing for external validation and always leaves us feeling not enough. Radical self-love offers another way. It asks us to step off the ladder, to revisit the stories that placed us on it and to begin divesting from the messages that keep us trapped. It calls us back to our inherent worth, our divinity and our wholeness. Sonya Renee Taylor Sonya lays out her radical self-love vision. She is a New York Times best-selling author, world-renowned activist and thought leader on racial justice, body liberation and transformational change, international award winning artist, and founder of The Body Is Not an Apology (TBINAA), a global digital media and education company exploring the intersections of identity, healing, and social justice through the framework of radical self-love.  This is not easy work, but it is possible through honesty, community, grace and a willingness to embrace our own complexity. And as we do it, we create the conditions not only to free ourselves, but to dismantle the ladder for everyone. We hope this short piece roots softly in your body.   For links and more, visit www.allthatweare.org
