In today's episode, we're diving into one of the most asked-about dynamics in relationships:
In this episode, D'Arcy and her sister April dive deep into what it means to reclaim love on your own terms—especially when you've spent years minimizing your needs, hiding your pain, or staying small to feel safe. Together, they explore how worthiness, visibility, and nervous system regulation play a role in opening yourself back up to being loved, seen, and supported. They reflect on how generational and cultural conditioning can disconnect us from our bodies and our truth—and how honoring your story, even the messy parts, is a radical act of love in itself. Through personal shares and honest conversation, they unpack the internal barriers that keep us from receiving love and what it looks like to rewrite that story in real time. In this episode, you'll hear about: Feeling unseen and unmet, and the grief of naming it The protective patterns that help us survive but later keep us stuck Learning to stay in your body when old wounds resurface The tenderness of letting yourself be known, even when it's scary How regulation and self-compassion create space for deeper connection The process of reclaiming love—not from others, but for yourself This is a conversation for anyone longing to come home to themselves, to feel held without performing, and to remember that love doesn't have to be earned. You are already worthy.
DescriptionDo you ever feel like there's a specific area of your life where you struggle no matter what you do? I spent years doing all the “right” things—vision boards, affirmations, money mindset work, deep dives into my blocks, all in hopes of becoming someone who deserved abundance. But no matter how hard I worked, nothing changed the way I hoped. The promises of the law of attraction and prosperity gospel started to feel like gaslighting—like if it wasn't working, it must be my fault. I internalized it as failure, as proof that I was broken or cursed when it came to money. And it wasn't just the inner work—I worked hard in external ways too. I built skills, pursued opportunities, worked on professional growth, and still found myself hitting the same walls. It left me questioning my worth and wondering if success was only for people who already felt whole. But I'm learning that healing isn't a prerequisite for success or for being seen, respected, or loved. We don't have to be perfectly aligned or “fixed” to deserve a breakthrough. We can be in process and still be enough. We can be messy and still make progress. Our worth isn't something we have to earn—it's something we carry with us, something God has already give us, even when nothing's working out the way we hoped.Time Stamps Christian Emotional Recovery Resources Podcast WebsiteAccess Episodes, Get Free Resources, and More Facebook GroupJoin Community, Get Support, and Get Weekly Encouragement YouTube ChannelSubscribe for Exclusive Material Not on Podcast Christian Emotional Recovery StoreGet meditations, infographics, journals, and other resources for your healing journey Trauma SurvivorsCheck out Resources Page for Trauma Survivors Email ListGet updates on episodes, platform, resources, and products Free ResourceFree Visual A.C.O.R.N Resource to Heal Difficult Emotions Donate Monthly Through PatreonHelp More Trauma Survivors Through This Ministry ...

In this raw, unfiltered coaching call, we dive into what happens when success triggers guilt instead of celebration. Many of this show's listeners are aware of the incredible podcast, "At Last She Said It." Its co-hosts, Susan Hinckley and Cynthia Winward, are long-time friends personally and have been on this show several times. They are always insightful and well-spoken, but we are so excited that they now have moved from the spoken to the written word. In this episode, LDF host Dan Wotherspoon and LDF board member Mark Crego celebrate with them the very recent release of their book, At Last She Said It: Honest Conversations about Faith, Church, and Everything in Between (Signature Books, 2025). Through a great conversation, we learn what went on behind the scenes from conception to completion of the book, with a focus on what it includes and why. At every step, Cynthia and Susan give background on the book's five sections and the essays and dialogues within them. We discuss why they have chosen on the podcast and now in the book to discuss openly many of the "p-words" that women (and more and more, men) have long had difficulty with, among them patriarchy, priesthood, presiding, and polygamy. The book also features essays other difficult topics (and we have discussions on some of them), including God, Grace, Obedience, Fear, Worthiness, the Temple, and "when women are the problem." All in all, the book contains twenty-six essays, all of which discuss their subjects in ways that are personal and self-revelatory as well as insightful. Don't miss this conversation among old friends that not only features important things but also easy banter and laughs! Join in the fun!
This episode is one of them ones! We're joined by Fannie Mitchell and the powerful cast of 1016 Alpine Heights for a raw and inspiring conversation you won't forget. Fannie opens up about how playwriting saved her life and the journey that led her to complete this powerful piece against all odds. Director Ethena shares her experience moving from Georgia to Vegas and how she brought Fannie's vision to life—offering a profound take on mortality through her unique lens. Stephanie reflects on discovering her worth and what it means to grow up in Las Vegas. Lulu gets real about surviving a life-and-death situation, struggling with community, and redefining forgiveness. We laughed. We cried. And we left with more than we came with.
Hey friends and welcome! I really want to encourage you with this one to stop seeking validation for outside of you. Unfortunately many of us have been taught that we have to do and be something else to gain approval and love from the world. This traps us in stagnation and the inability to express our truest expression. So lets talk all things worthiness, unlearning, shame and tapping into the Divine Power!✨I'm sending you so much love xx

In this powerful and personal conversation, I'm joined by the unforgettable Ramona J. Smith — 2018 Toastmasters International World Champion of Public Speaking. Ramona's story is about far more than public speaking accolades. It's a journey of courage, confidence, and claiming her worth — financially, personally, and professionally. From teaching high school to setting stages ablaze across five continents, Ramona opens up about what it really took to transform her mindset and bank account. We explore the pivotal role my book Worthy played in helping Ramona shift from a scarcity story into a self-worth-centered approach to money and business. With boldness, honesty, and fire, she shares how she rewrote her internal narrative, raised her prices, and finally began to live — and earn — in alignment with her value. Whether you're a coach, speaker, entrepreneur, or anyone ready to ditch people-pleasing and step into unapologetic worth, this episode is a must-listen. What we explore together: The behind-the-scenes of how Ramona went from classroom to global stages How a conversation with another champion led her to my book ‘Worthy' Worthiness as the foundation of wealth Why affirmations alone won't change your bank account How to find the courage to raise your rates and start charging what you're worth — today → Feeling stuck in your pricing, your self-worth, or your visibility? Start with the inner work. Pick up a copy of Worthy and do the exercises, then, just like Ramona – take action! And if you're ready for deeper support, reach out to me at nancylevin.com! It is normally unfounded and can make you forget all that you have done to get to where you are. The roots of self-doubt can run deep and wreak havoc in your life. When you feel like an imposter it lowers your confidence levels and can often lead to self-sabotage and the promotion of your true talents. Listen to this show to reveal the truth about Imposter Syndrome and how and why you want to release the hold it has on you.
“I don't have confidence in my personality, but I do have absolute, total confidence in the Truth of who I am. And that is available for you because it is the same I Am.” Quieting or shutting down the voice of self-hatred running in our minds often brings us to the spiritual search, and in that, it can be an ally. We may fear thoughts or feelings of self-hatred, but if we don't want that merciless voice to rule our lives, we must question it, challenge it, and ultimately meet it directly. In this episode, Gangaji shares her own meeting with self-hatred and her great discovery. Just in this episode: Gangaji joins host Barbara Denempont to introduce this potent monologue from the archives. She also announces a new six-part audio documentary, Finding Home, that traces her journey to realizing true freedom. It will be released in the With Gangaji Media Library on May 5. Here's the real reason you're still broke…We've been lied to our whole lives — told we have no power, that we're not good enough. And because of that, we don't feel worthy. Not worthy of love. This week is all about failure — what it truly means, why we fear it, and how shifting our perspective can transform setbacks into powerful tools for growth. Throughout the episode I share some personal stories of career, financial, and relationship struggles to highlight that failure is not a reflection of who we are, but rather a natural part of the journey toward success. Whether you're navigating a business setback, personal challenge, or simply afraid to take the next step, what I talk about today will help you reframe failure as a sign you're trying, not that you're falling behind. In this episode you will learn: Why failure is not an identity or reflection of your worth Where the fear of failure often stems from What valuable lessons you can learn by embracing failure How to separate your self-worth from external outcomes The importance of approaching failure with curiosity and compassion How you can reduce fear and create more freedom to pursue your dreams - How are you going to embrace failure? Have you ever caught yourself sabotaging a good thing—whether it's a relationship, opportunity, weight loss efforts, gym streak, or personal success—without really knowing why? You're not alone. In this deeply personal episode of Tami Talks: Unscripted Healing, I open up about my own experiences with self-sabotage and why we often push away the very things we desire. It's not because we don't want health, happiness, or wealth—it's because if you have unhealed childhood wounds, your nervous system is still wired for chaos and control, not peace and safety. *Trigger Warning for anyone who has experienced a miscarriage or loss of a child. I talk about it only regarding the lack of support women receive - and send anyone who has experienced either so much love and healing. This journey of healing is messy, ongoing, and beautifully unscripted—but the more we understand ourselves, the more we can step into the love, joy, and success we truly deserve. 2025-03-09 The Joy of Worthinessby Pastor Chris BergScripture Reference: Philippians 1:27-3027 Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel,28 and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God.29 For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake,30 engaged in the same conflict that you saw I had and now hear that I still have.

For so long, I believed that rest had to be earned. Even through the ups and downs of burnout and consciously knowing that I deserved rest, I still didn't feel worthy of having it. I didn't feel like I could relax guilt-free. In this moment of reflection, I'm sharing how I'm unlearning the guilt of resting before everything is done. No solutions, no neatly wrapped lesson, just the truth of where I am right now. I'm Lira Ndifon, and today, we're kicking off Season 3 with a powerful conversation on self-love, worthiness, and navigating the complexities of grief, featuring the insightful Ryan Jackson. In this episode, Ryan shares his unique perspective, shaped by a childhood immersed in mindfulness and diverse spiritual practices. He emphasizes that at the core of all paths lies self-love and a connection to our higher selves. We explore the feelings of unworthiness, understanding that they often stem from self-comparison and unrealistic expectations. Ryan reminds us that life is a journey of evolution, and true contentment lies in embracing the present moment, rather than waiting for a distant "liftoff."We delve into practical techniques for overcoming feelings of unworthiness, including daily self-reflection, mind mapping, and sitting with emotions rather than suppressing them. Ryan highlights the importance of recognizing feelings as messengers, guiding us toward self-discovery. We also discuss how to cultivate appreciation and self-worthiness by focusing on the abundance around us, even in the smallest moments. The conversation shifts to navigating grief, a universal experience that can profoundly impact mental health. Ryan shares his personal journey of loss, emphasizing the importance of allowing grief to unfold naturally and recognizing its wave-like nature. He stresses the need for self-compassion during this process, acknowledging that feelings of guilt are common but not insurmountable. We explore how to reframe past experiences, viewing them as opportunities for growth and preparation for a more expansive future.Ryan and I discuss the mind's tendency to dwell on the past, tracing it back to our primal instincts. He offers practical strategies for reprogramming the brain, including gratitude practices and reframing negative thoughts. If you've ever felt like you're either too much or not enough in love, this episode is for you! Understanding Love and Worthiness: Many of us grow up believing that love must be earned. This conditioning can lead to feelings of inadequacy and the need to overextend ourselves in relationships. Rebecca emphasizes that your existence alone is evidence of your worthiness. Recognizing and addressing old wounds is crucial. Rebecca encourages listeners to clear the emotional baggage that keeps them stuck in unhealthy patterns. The Power of Receiving: It's essential to learn how to receive love without guilt or obligation. Rebecca shares a poignant story about a client who struggled to accept gifts without feeling the need to reciprocate. If you're ready to explore these themes further, reach out to Rebecca, visit callwithrebecca.com to schedule a consultation. Remember, love that requires you to abandon yourself is not true love.
