Hey everyone. We are back with a fresh baked episode of the pod. Josh explains why there wasn't an episode last week and gets a little sad boyish on it. With that being said we would like to say rest in peace to a great man William Brooks. Not only was he an amazing father, grandfather and father-in-law. He was just really one of the best men that Josh has ever known. Our condolences go to Josh's wife Jamie and all the people that loved Bill. We then catch up on what the boys have been up too. Vin come through for a new Vibin. We play music from Milk Teeth, Ameer Vann & Alex Melton. Hope you all have a great week. Since their debut in 2015, Brockhampton has been on the loose and it's impossible to trap them in just one box. Are they a rap group? Are they a boy band? Or are they simply just a musical entity that can't be classified... We'll let you decide for yourself. Around 2010, a fourteen-year-old aspiring rapper named Kevin Abstract went to the online forum "KanyeToThe" to inquire about possibly assembling a "boyband". The young Texas visionary received dozens of replies from artists across the country and out of that, Alive Since Forever (styled as AliveSinceForever) was born. Comprised of Abstract, Ameer Vann, Dom McLennon and Rodney Tenor, the four artists – becoming fully active in 2012—only lasted for a short period. Dropping the ASF EP in 2013, the group disbanded the following year only to reform as Brockhampton not long after. Losing Rodney Tenor, but recruiting a few more members, the gang went from small, ambitious young rap group to a diverse make-up of not only rappers but singers, directors, producers, as well as photographers, engineers and creative designers. Releasing their debut single in 2015 entitled "Bet I", they followed up soon after with "Hero" and "Dirt" which were released through Fool's Gold Records. This all lead up to the 2016 release of their debut mixtape All-American Trash. The mixtape made circulation around the hip-hop circuit and helped earn the group a large cult following online. Relocating to South Central, Los Angeles, the group shacked up in a small house and put their nose to the grind. In 2017, Brockhampton released their full-length debut album 'Sensation'. While the album was critically acclaimed, the group just didn't see that as enough, 'cause they dropped Sensation II and III later that year. They were also approached by Viceland to star in their own reality series American Boyband.
