Want to be featured on the next Q&Andy? Send us a video on our socials or email us at askandy@servedmediagroup.com Andy Roddick dives into all things tennis rackets. He breaks down the racket and string tech that shaped his career and changed the modern game. Andy explains why he trusted his stringing team with almost complete control and what really changed when Roger Federer made his famous racket switch, including why Rafael Nadal called Federer's 2018 version the toughest he ever faced. He also gets into string tension strategy across different surfaces and weather conditions, reveals that James Blake secretly used Dunlop rackets inside a Prince bag for years, and argues that strings, not rackets, have been the biggest revolution in modern tennis power. Andy then reacts to his brutally accurate PS2 ratings in Smash Court Tennis Pro Tournament 2, where the game nailed his serve and roasted almost everything else.

Is your business truly cyber resilient, or are you one malicious click away from a system lockdown? In this episode of Softcat's Explain It podcast, host Helen Gidney is joined by James Blake from Cohesity and Gary Hawkins from Softcat to work through what modern data protection and recovery actually looks like, and why it differs from traditional disaster recovery. They discuss why cyber resilience can't be bought off the shelf, how conventional DR approaches risk reintroducing threats into a recovered environment, and why IT, security, and the C-suite must work as one rather than in separate lanes.James and Gary also break down where to start before an attack happens: baselining your IT maturity against NIST and ISO frameworks, treating your backup platforms as a security layer in their own right. As well as building the offline playbooks, digital jump bags, and clean-room environments that determine whether you survive the first 72 hours of a ransomware incident. The episode closes on AI, specifically how cybercriminals now use LLMs to find and exploit software vulnerabilities in under 24 hours, and what that means for how quickly organisations need to be able to respond.Hosted by Helen Gidney, Head of Architecture at Softcat, the Explain IT podcast is where we discuss, debate and demystify tech in simple, jargon-free language. Thanks for listening to the Explain IT podcast from Softcat. This podcast is produced by The Podcast Coach. Send us a video on our socials or email us at askandy@servedmediagroup.com Andy Roddick sits down with longtime friend and former World No. 4 James Blake for an unfiltered look at what it really takes to run one of the biggest tournaments in the world. As the Tournament Director of the Miami Open, Blake pulls back the curtain on the logistical chaos happening behind the scenes at Hard Rock Stadium—from managing ego-driven player requests and rain-delay scheduling nightmares to the "phenomenon" of rising star Joao Fonseca, who Blake claims is drawing a level of fan intensity unlike anything he saw with Federer or Nadal in Miami.
David Byrne leaves Annie wanting to know more about his live show while Nick avoids any Rosalía Lux Live spoilers. Plus, Annie and Nick discuss the intimate production behind James Blake's new album and how too many opinions can hold an artist back. Speaking of opinions, there have been many about Jack Harlow's new album, “Monica,” and Annie and Nick explore what puts the soul into neo-soul. Meanwhile, Morrissey has been left in a “catatonic” state and Live Nation executives give people new reasons to be angry, as Annie and Nick try to wrap their heads around their recent settlement with the US Department of Justice. Finally, Annie and Nick are paid a visit by Gail Mortley, an opera singer and singing teacher who kindly takes them through the importance of opera, instructions for our diaphragms, and a few vocal exercises for all burgeoning divas to follow - with Nick turning from reluctant singer to essential pillar of “Gail and the Gail-ettes.” HOMEWORK: Don't forget to listen to LCD Soundsystem's self-titled debut album and send us your thoughts ahead of our first ever album club discussion.

Today's Song of the Day is “Death of Love” from James Blake's album Trying Times, out March 13.
Jameela Jamil is back for a killer crossover! We were recently guests on her show Wrongs Turns, where we told embarrassing stories from our past, and now Jameela joins us to further delve into her romantic and therapeutic life! Last time she was on, LA was burning, and we spent the majority of the conversation looking out the window just in case things got inferno-y. But the fires are over and everything in the world is good now. Ahem. Anyway, we get into it with Jameela about the wide gulf between her public persona and how she feels inside about herself. We talk meeting her bf James Blake, the songs he writes about her and again, how his version of her clashes with her own self-image. We talk about not wanting to be perceived and how a nice paycheck and a little dissociation can overcome those feelings, and of course, we talk dental hygiene! PLUS, obvi, we answer YOUR advice questions! If you'd like to ask your own advice questions, call 323-524-7839 and leave a VM or just DM us on IG or Twitter! We're in culture critic and Vulture writer Sean Malin's book The Podcast Pantheon: 101 Podcasts That Changed How We Listen!ALSO BUY A SUPER CUTE "Open Your Hearts, Loosen Your Butts" mug!
