What a lovely and inspiring interview with Brady Foulk. And how fun that this is episode 101. Reminded me of the 101 Dalmations. How would Brady train all 101? A question for the next time I have him on my Podcast. At first, I was wondering, when he reached out to me, how this would relate to my Podcast. He was clear on how it would. And it does. Fun pre-intro when I asked how he wanted to be introduced. He said his last name is said "folk" like folks. I told him I think I can say that fine. Even with my lisp. And or I could say he was Brady, like the "Brady Bunch". Wanted to hug him right there. My kind of humour. I have always had dogs. And my dogs have been part of the reason I recovered. My sister's unconditional love for me also made me realize dogs give you that too and what would my dogs do if I were to leave them?Brady shares his own story of how he had to retrain his own thinking and lifestyle and explains the three different ways we can deal with issues. Ignore, manage or make it sustainable.Brady and I chatted after the interview and it was interesting that he asked me what were my questions while I was eating after I recovered. He asked that because I told him when I was eating at family gatherings when I was bulimic, would I find a way to get rid of the food? Today it's not really asking any questions. It's enjoying the food and the company. So there are no mental thoughts of what I will have to do, other than the dishes. :) Great question though.Brady shares many intuitive thoughts and is very engaging. And his dogs Bumble Bee and Curiosity are so adorable! Check them out on Social Media! You can reach out to him at https://info.newdirectiondogtraining.com/ or on Tiktok and Instagram @dndogtraining.
