The Washington Commanders enter the 2026 fantasy football season with plenty of uncertainty. In this episode of Club Fantasy FFL's A Look Inside, we break down the fantasy football outlook for Washington, including the biggest values, risks, sleepers, and draft-day decisions for the Commanders. After a disappointing 2025 season impacted by injuries to Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin, fantasy managers are left wondering: can this offense rebound in 2026?We discuss Jayden Daniels' fantasy football ceiling after an incredible rookie season, whether Terry McLaurin can remain a reliable fantasy WR option, and if Washington has enough offensive weapons to support consistent production. The Commanders' backfield also brings major questions, with Jacory Croskey-Merritt, veteran Rachaad White, and rookie Kaytron Allen competing for fantasy relevance. Is there a hidden breakout candidate, or is this a situation fantasy managers should avoid?Plus, we examine Washington's offseason approach, the defensive rebuild, and which Commanders players should be targets, fades, or watch-list names in fantasy football drafts. If you're preparing for 2026 fantasy football drafts, dynasty leagues, best ball, or redraft leagues, this Commanders fantasy preview gives you the analysis you need before draft day.If you feel like talking ball with us, come and join the Club Fantasy FFL/Women of Fantasy Football Discord!

Rich Dotson, Matt O'Hara, and Garret Price are shopping for dynasty buys at quarterback and running back. This episode looks at Superflex and tight end premium values, focusing on players whose price does not match their upside, role, or long term insulation. Listen to This Episode: Apple Podcasts Spotify YouTube The crew opens with a deep dive into Cam Ward, whose rookie struggles have created a buying window entering year two. With added weapons and Brian Daboll helping shape the offense, Ward gets framed as a young quarterback who could quickly climb from QB2 pricing. They also discuss Deshaun Watson and Daniel Jones as cheaper Superflex swings. Watson carries obvious risk, but his price is nearly free. Jones offers rushing upside, a stable offense, and a clearer runway than many quarterbacks in his range. At running back, D'Andre Swift, Rachaad White, and Travis Etienne headline the buy list. Each brings a different profile, from steady RB2 production to cheap pass catching upside to a potential lead role in a fast paced offense. Garret and Andrew break down the biggest “survivors” from the 2026 NFL Draft, highlighting veterans whose roles stayed clean when many managers expected their teams to add real competition. If your league is still overvaluing rookie picks, this is the window to trade for proven production before summer pricing kicks in. Listen to This Episode: Apple Podcasts Spotify YouTube The list starts with Chase Brown, who dodged the exact type of Day 2 back that could have threatened a true feature workload. Then the focus shifts to Cam Skattebo, another back who avoided the nightmare scenario, keeping a clear path to touches in a room that already fits what he does best. At receiver, Josh Downs benefits from a depth chart that stayed quiet in the draft, setting up a target-friendly season in the middle of the field. The Chiefs not adding meaningful wide receiver competition keeps Rashee Rice positioned as a volume-driven centerpiece when healthy, even if the offseason noise never stops. Jacksonville passing on RB additions creates a cleaner runway for Bhayshul Tuten, while Tampa's draft keeps Rachaad White alive as a practical contender play in PPR formats. The big sneaky call is Oronde Gadsden, whose situation stayed open enough to flirt with top tier tight end outcomes if the target tree cooperates. The episode closes with David Montgomery as a pure win-now buy, a short-window volume bet that can outscore the mid-second rookie tier when you are chasing a title. Start Using the Film Room Today! Capitals Are Officially eliminated from the playoffs after the Flyers beat the Hurricanes, Nationals get demolished 16-5 to the Pittsburg pirates as Chris Russell reacts to a rough night for D.C. sports and what it means moving forward. He also explains why the Capitals' matchup against the Blue Jackets carries little significance with the playoff picture settled. The hour wraps with how the addition of Rachaad White could impact the team's draft strategy and whether it lessens the urgency to move up for Jeremiyah Love.

Busy hour for Grant and Danny, including a new Commanders addition at running back.
After the Maxx Crosby trade was voided yesterday, Brock and Salk discuss again if they are still interested in the Seahawks trading for the star pass rusher and what they would be willing to give up. They then dive in further to the Cal Raleigh-Randy Arozarena situation and praise Cal for defusing the situation in the way that he did. In Blue 88, topics include if there will still be question marks around Sam Darnold next year, the possibility of Rachaad White to the Seahawks and why Riq Woolen in Philadelphia is the perfect boom or bust situation for the Eagles.

ESPN's Jenna Laine joins the show to explain how much Mike Evans meant to the franchise and community in Tampa Bay and how his friendship with Rachaad White could present another opportunity for the 49ers to sign a free agent.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Bump and Stacy hear what Mariners General Manager Justin Hollander said about the depth of the team, the health of the pitching staff, and how the perception of the Mariners has evolved, they give you their thoughts on the Cardinals new starting Quarterback and Team USA’s World Baseball Classic win in Headline Rewrites, they bring you the biggest stories around the NFL, including why Travis Kelce decided to return to the Chiefs for his 14th season, and they discuss whether Rachaad White could be the Seahawks’ new running back.
Steelers correspondent Mark Kaboly from the Pat McAfee Show joined the show. Where do the Steelers stand on Aaron Rodgers? Mark doesn't think the team will set a deadline, but the anticipation is that it will happen soon. What would have to happen for the Steelers to let Mason Rudolph and Will Howard drive the car? Mark insisted that Rodgers is still the Plan A for 2026. Mark isn't wiping a trade off the table that could happen over the weekend, like the DK Metcalf move from last year. More w/ Mark – Mark said Will Howard has the lovable personality which is a reason why he has so many fans without taking a snap as a rookie. Mark liked that Howard was present around the facility while he was on IR and thinks the players appreciate his attention to detail. The guys went through a list of pending UFAs and doesn't think many, if any, come back in 2026. He said Isaac Seumalo walking out the door is a team decision. Mark said Rachaad White would be an interesting name to look for. Will the Steelers bring back any of their depth defensive linemen? More w/ Mark – The guys made Kaboom try KFC jelly beans. Mark discussed his love for the word ‘gimmick.' Which outside free agents does Mark think will end up in Pittsburgh? Mark thinks a veteran guard will find his way to Pittsburgh and perhaps a former Browns OL. Mark said he wouldn't rule out anything with Omar Khan.
Garret Price and Andrew Mott shift from Combine takeaways into the real domino period: NFL free agency. The focus is how quickly dynasty value can swing based on tags, cap space, and surprise landing spots. The quarterback section starts with Daniel Jones as the cleanest call to return. From there, they frame Kirk Cousins as more of a bridge or depth option than a true long-term starter, with potential fits depending on how a team wants to handle the next rookie class. The most discussed “swing” outcome is Malik Willis. They see logical scenarios where he lands in a spot that gives him a chance to start sooner rather than later, but they also push back on the idea that he becomes a franchise saver. The upside is real for fantasy. The long-term NFL outlook is still more uncertain. At running back, they spend time on the tension around Breece Hall, with the tag scenario creating downside risk for both fantasy managers and the player's perceived freedom. Kenneth Walker is treated as more likely to stay put, but with enough uncertainty that it is worth tracking closely through the deadline. From there, the conversation turns to possible landing spots and role fits. Travis Etienne is one of the biggest pieces on the board if he changes teams. Rachaad White gets framed as a committee and depth type of option rather than a clear starter. Rico Dowdle, Tyler Allgeier, and JK Dobbins round out the “next tier” of backs who could become important depending on how a backfield is built and how much money a team is willing to spend. On the wide receiver side, they start with Alec Pierce as a clean field-stretcher fit for multiple teams. Mike Evans is the headliner name if the longtime situation finally changes, with a clear expectation that any move would be tied to chasing a title. They also run through veteran and role-based fits, including Wan'Dale Robinson, Romeo Doubs, Jauan Jennings, and Christian Kirk, with the key point being that teams with cap space and obvious needs can reshape the entire room quickly. They close the receiver discussion with Deebo Samuel and Rashid Shaheed, focusing on how either player could change an offense's geometry depending on usage and price. At tight end, they highlight David Njoku as the kind of addition that can immediately upgrade an offense that needs a true middle-of-the-field presence. Isaiah Likely is treated as a talented option whose market may not be as hot as fantasy managers expect. Cade Otton is discussed as a solid, reliable tight end piece who can fit multiple teams without needing to be the entire passing game.
