Dziwne rośliny i zwierzaki w Scavengers Reign, serialu SF malowanego amerykańską grubą kreską. Potem Eric z muppetami i Burmistrz Kingstown z Jeremy Renner'em. The Boys, wstępnie jesteśmy znudzeni, ale to ciagle świetna rzecz. Problem 3 Ciał to pomysł Starego do czytania w wakacje. Tak samo Thorgal. A Tymon dostał się do klasy matematycznej i przeszedł Frostpunka. Z gier, The Alters demo oraz “szajt” czyli Still Wakes the Deep. Udanych wakacji z Aha Super! Wstępniak. It's a light day for the geek calendar, so we have time to check in with Josh Harlan, the co-owner of Imaginary Worlds along with Eric Begin. This weekend is Free Comic Book Day, and that is a very special day for Imaginary Worlds. They will be celebrating their third anniversary. You can find them at 13446 Cedar Rd, Cleveland Heights, Ohio across from Melt and Critical Hit Games. We also have time for a quick look at Analog Science Fiction and Fact magazine, more commonly just called Analog. It is a venerable flagship of the print science fiction world. We look at its deep history and birth as Astounding in 1930. This month's issue features a short story by Cleveland's own Marie Vibbert, so I thought I'd talk it up. You can read her story, "The Willing Body, The Reluctant Heart" in the May/June 2018 issue of Analog, on newsstands now.
Did you know a single typo is the only difference between 'Hugs Not Drugs' and Hug Snot Drugs'? We found that out while typing this and trying to think up Ogre puns at the same time. Luckily for you, this episode is surprising pun-free (I know, right?) as we welcome original Simyin Team Member Jason back to the show to discuss Ogres in tournament play. Apparently, people play Ogres in tournaments or something. Then we peek behind the Commish Curtain (Is that a thing now?) as TIm, Drew and Chance meet secretly in public at Critical Hit Games to discuss the new Blood Bowl rules and which ones to begin using in our local leagues. There was laughter, there was whining, there was a surprising amount of Treeman love. That confusion you feel is well founded. Stick around if you dare! (Yup, Treeman pun. Boom.)
(1:49:23) Chance and Drew ring in the new year with a new monthly format - some nonsense about not sacrificing the quality of 3DB for quantity, blah, blah blah! They rope local legend Tim Lyons into basically doing their job for them as they grill him for Amazons 3.0! Then he defends the Wood Elves against Chance's obvious bias in Goblins vs. Elves Round 2! Finally, the lads cover local leagues, announce the Facebook fan painting winner, do some random shout outs, Chance indulges his mancrush on He-Man, and the build-up to Three Die Brawl 2014 begins! (1:57:47) On this episode, Chance and Drew recap their experiences at Chaos Cup 2013. Then, they respond to some listener feedback about the Wood Elves 3.0 episode. Finally, they give their predictions for this season's local leagues and cover some topics in Cheering Fans. (1:43:50) In this episode we go host crazy as Tim Lyons and Drew tag-team co-hosting duties with Chance. No Chaos Cup coverage this episode, but we've got something better for you: 2013 NAF champion, Jim Gradwell! He's going to tell us about his struggle to the top and then gives us some serious knowledge about tournament play with the Wood Elves in our 3.0 series. Then it's pre-championchip updates in our local leagues and some contests and announcements in the Cheering Fans section. It's been a long wait for this episode, but it's a good one!
