Lo scandalo che ha investito la giunta Sala e alcuni dei personaggi più in vista nel settore immobiliare milanese ha inevitabilmente evocato i paragoni con Tangentopoli. Ma il malcostume dei mandati di arresto e degli avvisi di garanzia che alimentano la giustizia spettacolo non sembra essere stato arginato dalle leggi fatte approvare dal governo Meloni. Se le accuse si rivelassero infondate infliggerebbero un danno inestimabile alla città di Milano, al prestigio dell'Italia all'estero, all'economia della regione più produttiva d'Italia e alla credibilità delle istituzioni. Se la città è corrotta significa che il sistema è marcio. Ma la responsabilità è di chi ha messo in piedi il sistema marcio e lo ha tollerato per anni.

Esiste un'analoga Legge di Gresham nei media: l'informazione cattiva scaccia quella buona. Da oltre 50 anni la grancassa dell'#ambientalismo ideologico ha diffuso una narrativa catastrofista volta a scatenare il panico nella popolazione, prima paventando il pericolo di glaciazione poi quello del riscaldamento globale globale.Ne parliamo con Giampiero Castellotti, che ha scritto il capitolo intitolato "Brutto Clima per l'Informazione" nel volume CRONACHE DEL RIMBAMBIENTALISMO edito dal collettivo Inglorious Globastards.In sostanza, l'informazione ambientalista è inquinata irrimediabilmente perché rigetta un approccio razionale, che metta in luce i problemi, indichi le soluzioni possibili e soprattutto calcoli i costi da sostenere. Invece i mestatori fanno credere all'opinione pubblica che #inquinamento ed emissioni di gas climalteranti siano causati dai "cattivi", dai "profittatori", dai "capitalismo", dai "nemici del popolo", dal "profitto". Insomma i propagandisti rossi, riverniciati di verde, hanno instillato nelle menti labili la convinzione che la transizione energetica la pagherà qualcuna altro, i "cattivi" appunto. Però quando i costi si abbattono sulle tasche della gente comune scattano le reazioni virulente, come è successo in Francia con i gilet gialli. L'esperienza disastrosa del Green New Deal europeo, fortemente voluto dalla Merkel, dalla von der leyen e da tutta la canea "progressista", dovrebbe riportare il dibattito a forti tinte ideologiche entro i confini della realtà.

Da questi temi poi si spazia tra filosofia, numerologia, teologia, arte, letteratura, partita doppia, senza trascurare le contaminazioni tra Indiani, Arabi ed Europei che estendono la loro influenza fino ai nostri giorni.La numerologia del 2025 2025 è il quadrato di 45 ( 9 per 5). È il quadrato dei primi 9 numeri ( ossia è (1 + 2 + ...+ 9) ^2) ed è anche la somma dei cubi dei primi 9 numeri ( 1^3 + 2"3 + ....+9^3). Interview by Kris PetersWhen it comes to good old-fashioned hard rock music, there are not too many bands on the global scene that can compare with UK rockers Inglorious. Despite a rotating roster of bandmates, founding member and vocalist Nathan James has resolutely pushed forward, releasing a high-quality collection of albums leading up to 2022 when he announced the band was going on hiatus.After seven years of non-stop touring with bands such as The Winery Dogs, Steel Panther, The Dead Daisies, Last In Line, as well as their own international tours and festival appearances, recording four original albums, a live album and a covers album, everyone felt it was the right time to take a break. The announcement came as a surprise to fans, who deep down knew Inglorious would return, and more than likely be stronger than ever.Those dreams were realized earlier this year with the release of a new single, Testify, and announcement of a new album - V - set for release June 6. Using his time to reflect on the band and their musical journey, James has returned with original Inglorious bass player and main co-writer Colin Parkinson, who co-wrote and released the first three albums: Inglorious, II and Ride To Nowhere.Joining them is renowned guitarist Richard Shaw, best known for his work with English extreme metal band Cradle Of Filth, and drummer Henry Rogers, two powerful additions to the band to complement the original engine room. The result is more than a continuation of Inglorious. It is a statement of intent and an emphatic tale of triumph over adversity and the magic that can create.HEAVY sat down with James to talk about Inglorious 2025. We asked about the return of Parkinson and how it impacted V."I think anyone that knows us will know when they hear this album that he is back by the sound of his bass, but also the songwriting," James replied. "He's so crucial to the early songwriting in this band, and he's done such a great job. He also produced this record as well."To HEAVY's ears, V is tougher and harder edged than anything Inglorious have ever released before, but we ask James just what he was going for musically."We wanted to do something a bit heavier," he agreed. "I think it's good to constantly be pushing yourselves, and also just the subject matter that we had to write about now in a kind of post-COVID world, it's just heavier, everything's a bit heavier. So it made total sense to write riffs and stuff that were more in that vein, and also bringing someone in like Richard on the guitar, it made sense to have a heavy guitar player play this stuff. And I think that's why it sounds a bit different, maybe, to previous albums."In the full interview, the discussion centred on the development and themes of Inglorious's fifth album V, with Nathan detailing the band's return after a hiatus influenced by the post-COVID landscape. Abbiamo invitato Claudio Velardi, direttore del quotidiano IL RIFORMISTA, per chiedergli lumi sull' #italia nostalgica, con lo sguardo fisso sullo specchietto retrovisore, che lui aveva descritto in un editoriale apparso il giorno dei funerali di Papa Bergoglio.Ne è venuto fuori un'anamnesi sconsolante dell'incapacità a proiettarsi nel futuro che permea la gente e la classe dirigente sia in politica che nei corpi intermedi. E così mentre in TV spopola l'intrattenimento per anziani condito di musiche degli anni '60, '70 e '80, la cosa pubblica è affidata al piccolo cabotaggio e alle pubbliche relazioni internazionali che danno l'illusione di contare qualcosa.

La morte di Bergoglio segna un punto di svolta per una Chiesa sempre in bilico tra modernismo e conservazione. #bergoglio il primo papa gesuita, il primo proveniente dall'emisfero australe, il primo ad assumere il nome del Santo più controverso, ha imposto uno stile più austero e una politica giudicata più "progressista" almeno su alcuni temi come l'immigrazione, o i diritti LGBTQ+. Su altre questioni come la guerra a Gaza o in Ucraina ha attirato critiche per motivi opposti. Ma in ogni caso la #chiesacattolica è un'istituzione il cui potere si stempera con il passare del tempo, anche se rimane sostanziale in molte parti del mondo. Il successore sarà chiamato a gestire una fase delicata in un mondo in tumulto e in una #cristianità spaccata. Ifunerali di Papa Francesco hanno costituito l'occasione per incontri ad altissimo livello, primo fra tutti quello tra Trump e Zelensky che potrebbe segnare una svolta nei negoziati. First off, a big thank you to those listeners who've been sending me emails, a great deal of useful information emerges from our discussions which always improves the quality of this podcast, specifically thanks to John for sending me your book and to Doctor Nkosi for the contact in eSwatini. When we left off in episode 168, pressure was being exerted on the Kat River Settlement by the new Governor, Sir Henry Pottinger. A quick revisit. The Kat River Settlement came into being in I829 after a clash on the eastern border when the authorities of the Cape Colony expelled amaXhosa from land around the source of the Kat River. To prevent them from re-occupying the area when the soldiers withdrew, the colonial government decided to settle it with English settlers and Khoekhoe and bastaards. Andries Stockenstrom who was then the Commissioner General of the eastern districts, wanted to intersperse the two races and give them equal quantities of land. But his superiors insisted on placing the khoe in the most exposed military positions, then gave the Khoe smaller land-grants than the English settlers received. What is really fascinating is how many types of people lived in this small area — people who differentiated themselves based on their ancestry. The party at the confluence of the Kat and Mankanzana Rivers for example belonged to that class of mixed race South Africans known to the colonists as 'Bastaards', who had adopted Dutch clothing, religion, technology and language, and did not associate themselves with their Khoi heritage. In May 1847 Governor Sir Henry Pottinger appoint a bankrupt farmer and a man who was known as a great hater of the Khoekhoe to oversee the Kat River Settlement. Thomas Jarvis Biddulph was appointed magistrate and immediately there were issues. Andries Stockenstrom said Biddulph's moral character “could not bear scrutiny” and the new magistrate launched into a series of verbal and physical attacks on the Khoekhoe living along the Kat River and Blinkwater. He called them “a lazy set of paupers” and said that they would be better served working as labourers for the English settlers and the Boers. Just to reinforce his view, Biddulph pulled a tax stunt — increasing their tax from eighteen pence to six shillings. From eighteen cents to sixty cents. How about that for a tax hike, that's 43 percent. If you tried that these days, the scratching sound of matches would be heard across the land. This historic site didn't have long to go before it would be eviscerated by colonial jealousy. Even the former supporters, the missionaries, appeared to lose faith. One of the most ardent was Henry Calderwood. His idealism had evaporated — living on the frontier had shattered his liberal attitudes, and now he seemed to swap one obsession for another. One of the things that had driven Pottinger up the wall was the fact that the amaNgqika had continued to insist that they were at peace without admitting that they had been defeated, and by Sandile's refusal to resume negotiations. On the 7th August 1847 Sandile' had been formally declared a rebel. Then the whole situation worsened, and fast. Pottinger resorted to proclaiming that the amaMfengu, the Boers and the Khoekhoe who fought with his regular soldiers could seize whatever they liked from the amaXhosa. The full-scale invasion of the Amathola's began again on the 29th September 1847, and every grain pit was emptied, every single animal seized.
