"Apzināju, kādas ir akūtākās vajadzības Černihivas mūzikas skolā, un piegādāju viņiem instrumentus. Tur uz pieciem bērniņiem bija viena vijolīte… Aizvedu pilnu mikroautobusiņu ar dažnedažādiem instrumentiem, ko piegādāja mūziķi no visas Latvijas – ne tikai no Ogres. Redzot ukraiņu sajūsmu par to, ka viņi nav vieni… Pilnīgi noteikti netiecos pēc kaut kādiem apbalvojumiem, bet man šī sajūta bija TĀDA... Es pat teiktu – lielāks gandarījums nekā pēc kāda ļoti, ļoti laba koncerta. To nevar atsvērt. Tāpēc Ukrainā kopš pilna mēroga Krievijas iebrukuma esmu bijis piecas reizes un domāju, ka braukšu vēl. Ļoti ceru aizbraukt arī tad, kad karš būs beidzies. Pavisam drīz," saviļņoti saka diriģents un Ogres Mūzikas un mākslas skolas direktors ATVARS LAKSTĪGALA, ar kuru "Klasikas" studijā tiekamies nākamajā rītā pēc Franča Lehāra operetes "Džudita" pirmizrādes. Paldies tev, Atvar, par agro nākšanu uz "Klasikas" studiju! Kādas ir sajūtas pēc pirmizrādes? Droši vien visu nakti kaut kas galvā vēl skan.  Atsevišķas epizodes vēl kādu laiku skanēja. Uzskatu, ka darbs tika labi paveikts no visām pusēm, bet vienmēr ir tā: varbūt varēju tur vēl tā vai šitā... Tā filma vēl tinas atpakaļ. Tā laikam ir tāda mūziķa iekšējā atbildība. Grūti to savādāk raksturot. Bet jūs jau varat ikreiz dot vairāk, labāk, savādāk: tur jau ir tā dzīvās mūzikas burvība. Nākamās izrādes ir 6. un 7. oktobrī. Mainīsies arī sastāvi. Bet vai nav dīvaini, ka Lehāra "Džudita" Latvijā tikusi iestudēta pirmo reizi? Jā, un ja šobrīd neko nejaucu, tad ne tikai Latvijā, bet arī Baltijas valstīs: interesējoties par nošu materiālu, arī no kaimiņvalstu nošu bibliotēkām neatradu nekādas norādes, ka šajā reģionā kādreiz bijusi iestudēta "Džudita".  Bet jūs materiālu sadabūjāt, tāpat tikāt pie latviešu teksta. Šis ir tas gadījums, kad nav vajadzīgi titri un tu pilnīgi skaidri vari saprast tekstu – gan dziedāto, gan runāto. Domājot par VEF Kultūras pils mazo orķestra bedri, šķita neiespējami, ka tajā varētu salīst lielais orķestris. Tāpēc orķestris ir samazināts, bet tik un tā skan brīnišķīgi. Jau iepriekš man bija darīšana ar šo orķestra bedri, un tas tiešām bija izaicinājums: ieraugot Lehāra oriģinālpartitūru, sapratu, ka arī mūsu Baltā nama bedrē tas būtu bijis komplicēti, jo operetē izmantots patiešām ļoti, ļoti, ļoti liels orķestris: te ir arī ģitāras, mandolīnas un kas tikai vēl nē... Sapratu, ka bedrē vairāk par trīsdesmit cilvēkiem nepietiks vietas, un tad nu bija lielais uzdevums – domāt, kā un ko darīt, lai labi skanētu un visiem pietiktu vietas. Atļāvos konsultēties ar saviem iepriekšējiem un pastāvīgajiem sadarbības partneriem, zvanīju komponistam Ērikam Ešenvaldam, ar kuru man bijusi ilggadēja sadarbība: viņš man ieteica savu ļoti talantīgo kompozīcijas studentu, maģistrantu Polu Bernardu Bernotu, kuram ļoti patīk šādas lietas. Protams, tas bija liels risks – kaut ko tik vērienīgu un apjomīgu uzticēt jaunam cilvēkam, bet… Tad atcerējos, ka arī es pirms gadiem divdesmit ļoti gaidīju šādus izaicinājumus un piedāvājumus, jo man patika darīt ko tādu, kas varbūt pat būtu pāri maniem spēkiem. Uzrunājot jauno komponistu un pianistu Polu, viņš atbildēja, ka ļoti labprāt šo darbu uzņemtos, un tad jau vienojāmies par to, kāds varētu būt sastāvs – ka tie būtu 27 mūziķi, un izveidosim šo partitūru tā, lai maksimāli izklausītos tā, kā to iecerējis Lehārs. Tev ir arī palīgs un asistents pie diriģenta pults – arī jauns cilvēks, kuram laikam vienā izrādē arī tiks dots vārds? Jā, esmu priecīgs, jo pirmo reizi uz ilgstošāku sadarbību esmu aicinājis savu asistentu – Jāzepa Vītola Latvijas Mūzikas akadēmijas simfoniskā orķestra diriģēšanas studentu Artūru Plaudi. Šeit noder arī viņa klavierspēles dotības, pieredze un iepriekšējā izglītība, jo Rīgas Doma kora skola dod savu artavu. Tieši darbā ar vokālo mūziku viņš bija ļoti, ļoti vērtīgs palīgs un arī dziedātājiem deva brīnišķīgus padomus. Artūrs diriģēs izrādi 21. oktobrī. Tā būs viņa debija muzikālajā žanrā.  Tev šī nav pirmā pieredze ar operetes žanru, par kuru domas sabiedrībā atšķiras. Ir daļa ļaužu, kas pret to izturas skeptiski. Daļa sabiedrības uzskata, ka operete ir kā šlāgeris populārajā mūzikā. Bet tas tā noteikti nav! Būtiskākā atšķirība no operas operetē ir pozitīvisms: teju visas izrādes, izņemot "Džuditu", beidzas laimīgi – un tās ir komēdijas. Cik man zināms, teju visos pasaules teātros operetes iestudē valsts valodā. Tas klausītājam ir interesanti – ka viņš no sākuma līdz galam var saprast, par ko ir stāsts. (..) Operetē ir ļoti daudz runāto dialogu. Vai diriģentam tas ir īpašs uzdevums un varbūt pat apgrūtinājums – tiem sekot? Arī dziedātājiem tas noteikti nav viegli. Tev taču ir jāseko katram vārdam! Jā, protams, man jāseko! Bet jau mēģinājumu procesā šīs nianses ir ļoti labi izprastas. Dodu arī padomus, lai šie dramaturģiskie akcenti sakristu ar mūziku, kas sekos pēc tam. Runātie dialogi papildina mūziku. Ja operā ir rečitatīvi, tad operetēs ir dialogi.  Jāvēl ilgs mūžs operetei "Džudita", bet nu gan pievēršamies Ogrei. Vai esi dzimis ogrēnietis, vai arī tu tur šobrīd dzīvo un strādā?  Esmu dzimis Rīgā, tomēr sevi vienmēr esmu uzskatījis par ogrēnieti. Lai gan esmu mācījies, strādājis un dzīves lielāko daļu pavadījis ārpus Ogres, šī pilsēta ir manas mājas. Atzīšos – bijušas pāris reizes, kad es pat esmu mēģinājis aiziet no Ogres, jo strādāju Liepājā un domāju, ka varbūt tomēr vajadzētu dzīvot tai tuvāk. Vēl bija mācības Berlīnē, un tad Ogre likās pilnīgi uz citu pusi nekā Liepāja vai Rīga lidosta. Bet nē... Ogre, kur satiekas divas upes, kļūst arvien skaistāka, tā mani vilina kā magnēts! Tai ir ļoti īpaša aura. Ogri un Operetes teātri kaut kādā ziņā saista intensīvas saites. Kā ir ar muzikālā teātra attīstību Ogrē? Mēs visi uz to ļoti, ļoti ceram! Nopietnā projekta stadijā izstrādāts vizuālais materiāls, kā tas varētu izskatīties. Par tautas saziedotajiem līdzekļiem celtais Ogres Tautas nams ir vēsturiska ēka; tai ir ļoti skaists tornītis. Kad tika atjaunota Latvijas neatkarība, šis tornis bija viena no pirmajām vietām, kurā tika pacelts Latvijas karogs. Tāda ikoniska vieta. Un, tā kā šī ēka jau kādu laiku ir tādā kā pabērna statusā, lai gan tai ir liela kultūrvēsturiska vērtība, tika lemts – kāpēc to nepiepildīt ar kultūru? Ir izveidots projekts, kurā šī vecā, vēsturiskā ēka varētu savienoties ar jaunu un pilnvērtīgu teātra ēku. Vecā ēka paliktu kā mazā zāle, bet jaunā ēka – kā jaunā zāle. Ceru, ka pārskatāmā nākotnē šī iecere tiks novesta līdz galam. Bet jau ļoti pārskatāmā nākotnē, 11. oktobrī, būs liela balle, bet vēl pirms tam – arī daudz kas cits saistībā ar Ogres Mūzikas un mākslas skolas jubileju. Patiesībā kopā liktas divas jubilejas: Mūzikas skolai – 65, Mākslas skolai – 35. Kopā apaļš simts!  Jā, tā ir mana ideja. Mūzikas skola tika dibināta 1960. gadā, bet Mākslas skola – 1990. gadā, un šīs skolas veiksmīgi darbojušās katra par sevi. Nu jau piecus gadus esam kopā zem vienas administrācijas, bet – saglabājot tās labās tradīcijas, kas bijušas iepriekš. Tradīcija, kuru šobrīd turpinu – neuzstāju, lai talantīgais jaunietis obligāti aizietu līdz galam un skolu pabeigtu: man ir svarīgi dot viņam impulsu, un, ja redzu, ka konkrētajam jaunietim ir ļoti īpašas dotības, mudinu iet uz Rīgu – vai tā būtu Rīgas Doma kora skola, vai arī Emīla Dārziņa mūzikas vidusskola. Jo redzu, kā notiek attīstība. Piemēram, Diana Ozoliņa, viena no vadošajām čellistēm Latvijā, arī savulaik uzsākusi mācības Ogres mūzikas skolā; tāpat altiste Ināra Brīnuma, klarnetists Uldis Lipskis. Trombonists Vairis Nartišs šo skolu ir pat pabeidzis. Bet jaunā, talantīgā pianiste Ērika Jēkabsone aizgāja uz Dārziņskolu.  2017. gadā, kad stājies jaunajā amatā, savā vīzijā teici, ka nepieciešams veidot jaunas tradīcijas šajā profesionālās ievirzes izglītības iestādē. Piemēram, rīkot mūzikas festivālus, iesaistot citu mūzikas skolu audzēkņus, pasniedzējus no Mūzikas akadēmijas, no ārvalstīm. Tas ir izdevies? Ir izdevies, jā. Tas notiek pastāvīgi – gan starptautiskie projekti, gan vietēja mēroga projekti. Kad vēl skolas nebija apvienotas, izveidoju koncertu ciklu, kurā personības, kas pasaulē ļoti tālu tikušas un parādījušas sevi uz lielajām skatuvēm, aicinu tikties ar bērniem skolā, lai parunātos un arī muzicētu – tā, lai bērni varētu uzdot jautājumus un akcentu liekot uz to, kādas konkrētajai personībai bijušas pirmās dienas mūzikas skolā, kāds bijis pirmais mācību gads, kādas bijušas pirmās veiksmes un arī neveiksmes, kā tikts tām pāri… Daudzi bērni man atzinušies, ka tas viņus ļoti, ļoti iedvesmojis! Jo neviens no mums nepiedzimst uz skatuves: pamatā ir ļoti liels darbs. Un katram ir savs stāsts par to. Bijuši jau ļoti daudzi šādi pasākumi. Tavā vīzijā bija atvērt arfas klasi un izveidot džeza nodaļu. Džeza vēl nav, bet arfa gan ir!  Ja nemaldos, vēl tikai Jūrmalā ārpus Rīgas ir iespēja apgūt arfu. Esam viena no retajām skolām Latvijā. Šobrīd ir arī pirmie trīs absolventi, un esmu priecīgs, ka visi skolu absolvējuši teicami un izcili. Ļoti liels nopelns te ir skolotājai Ievai Šablovskai: tas, kā viņa spēj aizraut meitenes, ir kaut kas fenomenāls! Un vēl lielāks pārsteigums bija, ka gandrīz visiem viņas audzēkņiem mājās ir savas arfas. Es saku: Ieva, ko tu dari ar tiem meiteņu tētiem?! (smejas)  Moderno datortehnoloģiju izmantošana. Arī to kā prioritāti esi licis 2017. gada vīzijā. Vienmēr esmu bijis par tehnoloģijām, man tās ļoti patīk un aicinu tās izmantot arī citus. Kad sāku strādāt direktora amatā, skolā nebija pat e-klases: mums vēl bija žurnāli, viss papīros. Teicu – nē, tā nebūs, mums jāiet laikam līdzi, un līdz šim ir daudz kas izdarīts šajā jomā. Ar tehnoloģijām esam ļoti "uz tu". Kad bija pandēmijas laiks, jau pirmajā nedēļā izveidoju digitālo koncertzāli un visi vecāki varēja sekot līdzi: mums koncertdzīve neapstājās ne uz mirkli! Tai varēja sekot līdzi tiešsaistē, kuru nodrošināja vairākas kameras. Tas man bija tāds uzstādījums. Un pāri visam tu teici – un tas nu gan ir noteikti piepildījies! – ka tev ir ļoti liela vēlēšanās izdarīt kaut ko labu savas pilsētas Ogres labā. Bet tu esi daudz ko izdarījis arī Liepājas labā. Un, skat, "Lielajam dzintaram" tuvojas jau desmit gadu dzimšanas diena! Tas bija tiešām ļoti, ļoti liels notikums un interesants posms… Liepājā mana dzīvesvieta bija blakus "Lielajam dzintaram", tāpēc varēju redzēt, kā šis brīnums top no stāva uz stāvu. Man bija skaidri zināms, kas būs programmā vēl divus gadus pirms koncertzāles atklāšanas! Koncertzāles un pilsētas vadība noticēja manai idejai, un par to esmu ļoti gandarīts. Viens no taviem skolotājiem ir Imants Resnis. Kādā intervijā lasīju, ka reiz kādā stundā Imants tev pajautājis – nu, kā tev patika jaunā izstāde Mākslas muzejā? Viņš ir viens no tiem, kurš tev liek skatīties plaši. Tas tiešām ir pateicoties Imantam Resnim, kurš uzskata: diriģents nav tikai tas, kurš taktē vai skatās, vai mūziķi nospēlē pareizas notis – ir jāredz ļoti plaši, jābūt plašam skatījumam. Imantu Resni joprojām uzskatu par vienu no erudītākajiem mūziķiem, diriģentiem, ko pazīstu, un ļoti, ļoti novērtēju to, ko viņš man devis. Tu skaties plaši arī pāri Latvijas robežām. Tev piešķirts Ukrainas augstākais valsts apbalvojums, un laiku pa laikam mēs redzam tevi Ukrainā. Esi teicis, ka mūzika un māksla ir spēcīgs ierocis. Tieši tā. Viena no Ogres sadraudzības pilsētām ir Černihiva, kas ir salīdzinoši tuvu agresorvalsts robežai. Jau kara pirmajās dienās uzzinot par turienes situāciju, arī man sirds ļoti sažņaudzās, un nodomāju: noteikti pie pirmās izdevības palīdzēšu! Zinot, ka Ogres novada domes priekšsēdētājs Helmaņa kungs pats personīgi dodas uz turieni un piedāvā piegādāt palīdzību, pieteicos, ka arī es gribētu braukt līdzi, taču saredzu, ka turp dotos ar savu misiju. Sazinājos ar Černihivas mūzikas skolu un arī mākslas skolu, apjautājos, kas viņiem nepieciešams, un vairākas reizes braucu uz turieni, vedot mūzikas instrumentus, kurus man savukārt piegādāja mūziķi no visas Latvijas – ne tikai no Ogres. Jo tur tā situācija bija tāda, ka uz pieciem bērniņiem bija viena vijolīte… Apzināju, kādas ir akūtākās vajadzības, un piegādāju viņiem instrumentus. Aizvedu pilnu mikroautobusiņu ar dažnedažādiem instrumentiem. Redzot viņu sajūsmu par to, ka viņi nav vieni… Pilnīgi noteikti netiecos pēc kaut kādiem apbalvojumiem, bet man šī sajūta bija tāda... Es pat teiktu – lielāks gandarījums nekā pēc kāda ļoti, ļoti laba koncerta. To nevar atsvērt. Tāpēc Ukrainā kopš pilna mēroga Krievijas iebrukuma esmu bijis piecas reizes un domāju, ka braukšu vēl. Ļoti ceru aizbraukt arī tad, kad karš būs beidzies. Pavisam drīz. 8. oktobrī jūsu skolā būs atbalsta koncerts Ukrainai – kopā ar pianistu Andreju Osokinu, dziedātāju Brigitu Reisoni, jūsu skolas bērniem un arī bērniem no Ukrainas. Jā, tāda izaicinājumiem pilna nedēļa. Un tad vēl skolas jubilejas koncerts. Ar Andreju Osokinu mums plānota sadarbība arī turpmāk: abi esam uzaicināti uzstāties kopā Černihivā nākamā gada pavasarī. Ar Černihivas simfonisko orķestri izveidosim kopēju programmu, kas būs kā labdarības koncerts no mūsu puses, un visi ienākumi tiks novirzīti Ukrainas aizstāvjiem.

Īpaši gaidīts notikums  ir jauna meteoroloģiskā radara uzstādīšana Rīgas lidostā, kur šobrīd ir tikpat kā nefunkcionējošs vecais. Vēl vienu jaunu radaru plānots uzstādīt Kuldīgā. Latvijā šobrīd darbojas 25 meteoroloģiskās stacijas, kas mēra ļoti plašu meteoroloģisko elementu klāstu. Tā ir temperatūra, gaisa mitrums, vēja ātrums, atmosfēras spiediens, nokrišņu veids, daudzums un intensitāte, sniega segas biezums, atmosfēras spiediens. Dažās meteostacijās ar speciālu lāzerstaru veic arī mākoņu novērojumus un fiksē saules spīdēšanas ilgumu, meteostacijā Rucavā veic arī ultravioletā starojuma intensitātes novērojumus. Vēl bez šīm 25 meteostacijām ir septiņas papildstacijas, kurās ir neliels mērījumu klāsts, pamatā nokrišņus un sniega segas biezumu tur mēra.  Plānā ir desmit jaunu meteoroloģisko staciju izveide, tās būs Ventspils novada Ugālē, Dienvidkurzemes novada Kalvenē, Tukuma novada Irlavā, viena jauna meteostacija arī Rīgā - Rumbulā, Siguldas novada Mālpilī, Ogres novada Līčupē, Aizkraukles novada Neretā, Limbažu novada Puikulē, Valkas novada Zvārtavā un Balvu novada Tilžā. Kāpēc tieši šīs vietas ir izvēlētas? Latvijas Vides, ģeoloģijas un meteoroloģijas centra Prognožu un klimata nodaļas meteoroloģisko datu pārvaldības meteorologs Edgars Maļinovskis skaidro, ka izvēlētas vietas, kur jau uzstādītās stacijas ir krietni tālāk, kā arī vietas ar atšķirīgākiem laikapstākļiem reljefa dēļ. Mērinstrumenti, protams, būs jaunāki un modernāki, nekā esošajās meteostacijās, bet būtiskas atšķirības datu klāstā nebūs. Ir arī viena ne tik iepriecinoša ziņa. Tā kā šajā projektā, ko lielā mērā finansē Eiropas Savienības fondi, naudas visam netiek, septiņās jaunajās stacijās nācās atteikties no vēja ātruma novērojumiem. Vēju mērīs Ugālē, Kalvenē un Rīgas Rumbulas stacijās ar cerību, ka drīzumā radīsies iespēja arī pārējām meteostacijām uzlikt vēja sensorus.

The dragons can't be killed but can be drained of power causing them to turn into ruby-like stones. Only a dragon can consume another dragon, increasing its power.Apollonia becomes a sorceress and can retain her power for years out of water with the help of her sisters. She raises a champion in France to battle the dragons' growing threat of England's Vargrerot and Russia's Deyhezas. After destroying a Castle in the Alps and capturing its dragon in the Ruby Cradle, Napoli, the Dragon Killer, confronts the English at the Battle of Hastings. Apollonia returns to the sea and spawns two more mermaids. Klajā nākuši "Latvijas sociālās atmiņas monitoringa 2025" dati, kas meklēja atbildes uz jautājumiem - ar kādām emocijām un atmiņām atceramies okupācijas laiku un pirmspadomju periodu - posmus vēsturē, kurus liela daļa sabiedrības pati nav piedzīvojusi vai piedzīvojusi tikai daļēji. Dati liecina, ka samazinājusies tā saucamā padomju laika nostaļģija, bet pieaug to cilvēku skaits, kas par labāko laiku Latvijas vēsturē uzskata Atmodu un mūsdienas. Kādas atšķirības šajos datos vērojamas starp latviski un krieviski runājošajiem, un ko šādi pētījumi liecina par mūsu sabiedrību? Raidījumā Zināmais nezināmajā skaidro divi pētījuma autori - komunikācijas zinātnes doktors Mārtiņš Kaprāns, Latvijas Universitātes Filozofijas un socioloģijas institūta vadošais pētnieks, un sociālantropologs Andris Saulītis, Latvijas Universitātes Filozofijas un socioloģijas institūta vadošais pētnieks. Andris Saulītis: Aizvien vairāk mēs varam skatīties, nevis kādas ir atšķirības starp latviski un krieviski runājošām grupām, bet atšķirībām krievvalodīgo vidu. Latvieši vidū ir monolītāk, bet daudz sarežģītāk ir saprast un analizēt krievvalodīgo kopienu. Līdz ar to tā pieeja šobrīd vairs nav skatīties uz šīm divām grupām, bet būtībā skatīties uz krievvalodīgo grupu, kur var konstatēt jau pazīmes uz zināmu polarizāciju. Pēc kādiem datiem vai pēc kādiem raksturlielumiem ir šī polarizācija - vecums, paaudžu atšķirības?  Andris Saulītis: Vecums noteikti ir viena lieta, bet, protams, ka tas ir saistīts bieži vien ar ģeopolitisko orientāciju, ko gan mēs šajā aptaujā nevaram plaši precīzāk konstatēt, jo tomēr aptauja koncentrējas tieši uz jautājumiem par vēsturi. Bet vienlaicīgi tās ir zināmā mērā lietas, kuras savstarpēji saistītas. Protams, ka Latgale arī mums ir tāds reģions, kur ir atšķirīgāka šī izpratne un vērtējums, bet tai pašā laikā jāņem vērā, ka Latgalē vienkārši ir vairāk krievvalodīgo iedzīvotāju, ir vairāk vecāka gadagājuma iedzīvotāju un arīdzan tās ir daudz multietniskas kopienas, kur līdz ar to dialogs, iespējams, ir daudz intensīvāks. Un tajā pašā laikā, iespējams, ka tas ir tas iemesls, kāpēc daudzos jautājumos, it sevišķi vērtējot vēsturi, iedzīvotāji un sevišķi krievvalodīgā kopiena atturas vērtēt.  Tādā amnēzija attiecībā uz Latvijas vēsturi, kas ir pirms 1918. gada, ir izplatīta arī latviešu valodā runājošajās ģimenēs. Ja latviešu vidū vērtējumi sāk parādīties no 1918. gada, tad krievvalodīgo vidū tas saglabājas līdz pat Otrajam pasaules karam. Šeit ir runa arīdzan par izglītības sistēmu, un nekoncentrējoties tikai uz 20. gadsimtu, jo aptaujā mēs vaicājām vērtējumu līdz pat senlatviešu periodam, un mēs redzam, ka šobrīd tiešām iedzīvotājiem lielai daļai ir grūti formulēt savu attieksmi pret dažādiem vēstures periodiem pirms 1918. gada. Bet kas ir vēl interesanti, ka principā visi vēstures periodi, kas saistīti ar Krievijas impēriju, ar Padomju Savienību, tiem visiem ir stipri biežāk negatīvs vērtējums nekā jebkuram citam vēstures periodam. Arī no krievvalodīgo puses? Andris Saulītis: Grūti man pateikt, cik daudz tur ir šis pienesums, bet principā nu mēs redzam dinamiku.  Arīdzan attiecībā uz Padomju Savienības periodu Latvijā, tur gan mēs redzam arī krievvalodīgo vidū šo sadalīto, ne vienveidīgo kopienas skatījumu. Tas ir arī kaut kas tāds, kas ir mainījies, kopš mēs aptaujājām iedzīvotājus 2017. gadā, tā nostalģija pret šo periodu samazinās. Tam iepretim ir, ka atjaunotās Latvijas laiks kopš 1991. gada šobrīd ir vispozitīvāk vērtētais periods Latvijas vēsturē. Tas ir pārspējis līdzšinējo "top 1" - tas ir Kārļa Ulmaņa autoritārais režīms, kas līdz šim ir dominējis ne tikai 2017. gadā, arī iepriekš. Tagad pozitīvs vērtējums ir tieši šim laikam. Labā lieta ir arī tāda, ka, skatoties uz to, vai cilvēks ir apmierināts ar savu dzīvi un kā viņš vērtē padomju laikus, tad nav stingru korelāciju tādā ziņā, ka, ja tu pats esi neapmierināts ar šodienu, tas nenozīmē, ka tu ilgojies pēc padomju laikiem. Mārtiņš Kaprāns: Man liekas, ka ir jāsaprot, kā mēs skatāmies, kas ir sociālā atmiņa. Tas savā ziņā ir kā tāds trauks, un tur nav bezgalīga ietilpība. Tāpat kā cilvēkam uzmanība ir diezgan ierobežots resurss, tu nevari uz visu koncentrēties, arī sabiedrības uzmanība nevar koncentrēties uz pilnīgi visiem vēsturiskiem notikumiem, kas tai ir bijuši svarīgi kādā noteiktā posmā. Ir aktualitātes, kas mainās, mainoties, protams, arī paaudzēm.  Tas, ko mēs pašlaik redzam, ka lēnām, bet neizbēgami Otrais pasaules karš no tādas aktīvās komunikatīvās atmiņas, no tādas ikdienas saziņas, kur tas ik pa laikam par sevi dažādos veidos, arī pašlaik vēl, nupat Ogres gadījumā dzirdējām, tas atgriežas. Bet lēnām Otrais pasaules karš kļūst par daļu no tā, ko atmiņu pētniecībā sauc par kultūras atmiņu, proti, tā ir literatūra, tie ir arhīvi, viss pārējais, bet tā vairs nav daļa no ikdienas attiecību elementa.  To jau var redzēt, kas piedalās, piemēram, 16. marta pasākumos, kas ir neoficiālā leģionāru piemiņas diena, gan arī nupat 8. maijs bija, es biju Lestenē, pats apskatījos. Tas cilvēku skaits un cilvēku struktūra, nepārprotami liecina, ka šis ir tāds aizejošs, bet tas nenozīmē, ka tu aizmirsti. Tas vienkārši vairs nav ar to aktualitāti.  Mēs visu laiku uz krievvalodīgajiem fokusējamies, taču ir jāsaprot arī, ka latviešu vidū, ja runājam tieši par etniskām grupām, ir pamanāmi tādi momenti, kur varētu runāt par iekšēju, ja ne sašķeltību, tad katrā ziņā, ka tur nav spēcīgs konsenss.  Sociālā atmiņa nav tikai attieksme pret kādu noteiktu vēstures periodu, ir arī attieksme pret konkrētiem notikumiem vai aktivitātēm, kas saistītas ar vēsturi. Ar to vēlos teikt, ka ļoti sabiedrību polarizējošo padomju okupācijas slavinošo pieminekļu demontāža kopš 2022. gada, kas, protams, bija saistīta ar Krievijas pilna mēroga iebrukumu Ukrainā. Mēs redzam, ja krievvalodīgo vidū ir spēcīga pretestība šādai rīcībai, aptuveni 75% ir pret, spēcīga opozīcija. Tad latviešu vidu šī daļa ir mazinājusies un lielāka daļa ir to, kam ir neitrāla attieksme. It kā saprotami, ka atbalsts ir lēnām noplacis, viņš nav, protams, kritizējošs, bet krievvalodīgo vidū nekas nav mainījies.     Raidījuma noslēgumā Zinātnes ziņas Cilvēki jebkad ir izpētījuši tikai 0,001% no dziļūdens dzīlēm. I am your host, Dennis Jernigan, and I am so excited about the next few weeks of the Dennis Jernigan podcast because I absolutely love the subject matter that we're covering. I really do.  For the past few weeks I have been sharing the stories behind songs inspired by a fantasy book series I wrote for my children and grandchildren…but something I have forgotten to tell you (I will blame my forgetfulness on the Parkinson's) is that the underlying reason I wrote these stories was to paint an allegorical picture of what it means to come to Christ for salvation and how to view the word from Christ's point of view. I wrote the books in such a way that people would not be deterred from reading the books if they felt they had overtly religious undertones. You will be able to find pictures of Jesus and discovering none's identity in Christ painted throughout The Chronicles of Bren.  And there's one more thing to tell you. I have actually written 2 series of books. The first series is called The Chronicles of Bren Trilogy and the second series (which is about to have its 4th book completed) called The Bairns of Bren. This second series features my grandchildren as the heroes of the stories and it has become quite a wild ride. I'll let you know when book 4 in that series is available.  You are used to hearing me share the stories behind songs of worship and praise; songs of ministry; songs of comfort; songs from Father God's heart to ours…but the song I am sharing today was inspired by a 3-book series of fantasy novels I wrote for my children and grandchildren way back in 2015. The first book in this three-book series is called Captured (Book 1 in The Chronicles of Bren Trilogy). You may be asking yourself, “Why would a worship leader and song receiver write  series of books and songs about a fantasy world?”  I won't share everything that has led me to the writing of fantasy novels. You can simply listen to the podcasts from the episode called “Riding the Wind” all the way up to today's episode in order to catch up.   This week's song, “Creatures”, was received sometime in 2015 0r 2016 is a very scary song and was intended to paint a picture of the evil that is at work in the spiritual realm. Some of the creatures are good. Some are evil. My goal was to teach my children and grandchildren to walk in discernment and to trust their consciences and to remember that the enemy sometimes presents himself as an angel of light.  My desire is that my grandchildren would learn to be vigilant because the enemy goes about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour with his lies. I'll just mention a few of the lyrics that are meant to instill that vigilance.  Better watch out.  Better watch out When you pass through Forest or valley Whatever you do Better watch out Better watch  Whatever you do Better be watching  But who's watching who?  Following is a list of the creatures found in Bren. Ogres, Werewolves, Terrebithians (a race of men who live under the ground), Hawken (Hawk people who are faifthul to Bren), Wolfen (wolf people who are faithful to Bren), and Treesant (faithful, yet cautious of Bren). Swine rats, demons, unicorns (always good), dragons (fifty fifty chance of being good), fiends (never a good thing), Witches (never good), warlocks (never good).   Captured is a tale as old as time. Day at war with night. I painted a saga of peril and balanced it with faith, because I want my grandchildren to know life is not always easy but it always best lived by walking in faith with Jesus Christ. In this story The Founders represent the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Let me highlight a couple of the creatures to give you some insight as to why I created them. Sylvan – Treesants – These people of the forest – tree spirits, if you will – were inspired by my love for the woods. On our farm, we have acres and acres of forest. In fact, my sons and I have cut trails through the forest and have built a campground in those woods. The campground sits atop a small hill we have dubbed Stirling Mountain after the famous battle of Stirling depicted in the movie about William Wallace, Braveheart.  As a teenager studying vocational agriculture, I actually spent time studying trees and was tested on identifying various species native to Oklahoma. Throughout the history of fantasy and mythological writings there have been depictions of tree spirits. I had to include my own version in this story. The Treesants – Sylvan in particular – represent the mystery of life and the joy of trying to unravel the mystery…which Leonolis never does. But I don't think he will ever stop trying. After all, isn't that where the fun is? Swine Rats – This particular creature was conjured up in my mind by the various wild animals I have experienced throughout my life – especially when growing up in the country. We often see coyotes and deer and bobcats and skunks and woodchucks and raccoons and squirrels and possums. When I was a boy in FFA, I had show animals. I bought my first pig to show at livestock shows when I was a freshman in high school. The pig was purchased from a friend who lived ten miles away. After getting the pig home and placed in the enclosure I had prepared for her, she promptly escaped! I searched for a couple of weeks to no avail. After a futile period of searching, I gave up. A week after my search ended I receive a call from the friend I had bought the pig from. He told me the pig had come back to his birthplace! As I secured the enclosure and went to once again bring my pig home, I could not help but imagine what she had endured and all she might have gone through just to make it those weeks alone in her incredible journey. All of that helped inspire the swine rats. I combined rats with a pig just because rats personify dirty, rotten, scoundrels, soaked in evil to me!  My grandchildren love to scare me and I love to scare them when it is apprpriate. I do not want them to walk in fear but learn to discern when fear comes it can serve as a warning to be alert and to get themselves out of harm's way if necessary. Aprīli var uzskatīt laikapstākļu ziņā par kontrastiem bagātāko mēnesi. Aprīlī var būt var vasarīgs siltums un pat tveice, var būt arī sniegs un sals, un pat tāds sniegs, ka var mierīgi slēpot. Arī Nacionālais vides veselības centrs, kas tolaik bija atbildīgs par ūdens kvalitātes uzraudzību peldvietās, jau 17. aprīlī sāka ņemt ūdens paraugus, jo siltums bija tik noturīgs, ka cilvēki negaidīja vasaru un sāka peldēties, jo vasara burtiski bija sākusies - vairākas dienas temperatūra stabili bija virs 20 grādiem, bet 24. aprīlī Rīgā sasniedza 27,9 grādus. 2000. gadā pēc vasarīga aprīļa un ļoti silta pavasara sekoja vēsa vasara - visi vasaras mēneši bija ar temperatūru zem normas un dati liecina, ka tik vēsa vasara Latvijā kopš tā laika vairs nav atkārtojusies. Savukārt 2013. gadā ziema bija gara, līdz pat marta beigām naktīs vēl bija -20 grādu sals, un ziemas biezākā sniega sega izveidojās 9. aprīlī. Šogad ir grūti iedomāties, ka 2013. gadā vēl aprīļa vidū – 13. datumā, piemēram, Ogres upe bija sasalusi ragā.

One iridescent detail that came flying back with its horn, its long flowing mane, and its brilliant white fur, but…without…any of its the three messengers that Paua sent at the reigns, carrying a very important message.When the unicorn came back flying solo, without the messengers it was sent with, Princess Paua tried to stay positive and rest assured that the urgent message she sent for her Father the King to stand down, to not raise his army, and to trust her to handle this complex situation at hand was received; she tried to save all of her “what-ifs” from flurrying like an avalanche in a snow storm because…what if the what-ifs never come to be? Like Mrs. Honeybee always says: it's better to focus on what IS rather than what IF. That shift puts us squarely in our most powerful position…PAUA-full, hehe…of problem-solving; why worry about “what if” until you can actually DO something—however big or small that something is—about what IS, when it actually comes about? Well…this time…all of Paua's “what-ifs” became her “what-ises”...rather quickly and in full force. Her “what-ifs” charged by the hundreds of thousands…to the bugle call of top generals, dressed in full military regalia, when all the King's men marched in lock-step, straight toward the UNsuspecting, UNassuming, UNthreatening Ogre army—opposite them, but NOT opposing them, by any stretch of the imagination…and imagination is the only opponent in this battle.The steely soldiers, hardened of heart, grate against the jolly Ogres, softened in spirit, who continue to dance in the rain to the rhythmic beat of the war drums; they do not recognize the threat in its sound, only the timbre and depth of its feel. Princess Paua can fix this once and for all, but she's going to need your help and your magic, Hunny! Last time in our fairy tale, you, Princess Paua, and Princess Pia stood face-to-face with the full creaturely reality of the Ogres, to see their soft, tender side as well as their ferocious, enraged side…for exactly what they are: complicated parts of a whole being that's in desperate need of compassion, understanding, and most of all, belonging.Such a legendary vantage point sparked much transformation in each of you—including Ember, who, as a dragon, single-wingedly convinced both King Ronzio and Princess Petra that they needed to change their understanding of what's possible. But no one was more transformed than Princess Paua, who—after running the entire way back from the wilderness to the kingdom, with nothing but her heart guiding the way—kicked off her one black boot for good, before it could trip her up again.
