Can you put potential dates on hold? That's kind of what Melissa is asking as she's fresh out of a relationship, and her phone has turned into The Bachelorette: Group Text Edition. She wants her cake, but wants to eat it later.
Amanda's new guy is a little tough to figure out. Everything has been great between them, but they seem to be stuck in the are we dating or in the “just friends” lane. We need to help her interpret what's going on between them…
We try to help Amanda figure out if she's dating this guy...or if she's in the friendzone in Group Therapy. The search for love takes us to a parking where a "Superman" with giant hands rescued a Yaris from the snow, and Anne slays some Dude Knowledge!

Our listener “Aaron” is worried that the lie he and his friends have been carrying for months is about to come crashing down. Ladies… how would you want to hear this confession?
Joey wondered if his knees hurt because it’s cold or because he’s old. It was only 8 degrees this morning! Yesterday, Nancy saw a coyote chasing a skunk down her iced-over road. She thinks it was a redneck omen of sorts. A guy in Canada opened a museum full of people’s failures. Pieces included a divorced woman’s wedding dress, someone’s dead plant, and more. We joked about some of Nancy’s failures, such as her kid’s cussing, her blender obsession, and one of her businesses. Nancy then poked at Joey’s “helicopter parenting.” Joey came back and made fun of her baby talk voice she uses with her grandson. Nancy’s dad keeps having to go to his friends’ funerals. At what age does this become normal? Hot Tea: Morgan Wallen, HARDY, Tim McGraw, and Eric Church put up similar cryptic posts on their social media pages. What does it mean? People think the NFL rigged the Super Bowl due to a post from back in September that had the two teams’ quarterbacks in the front of the image. A man stole a full-sized harp, took his clothes off, jumped in a river, and had to be rescued before he was arrested. We all watched Alex Honnold climb Taipei 101, the skyscraper over the weekend. It made Joey’s palms sweat. Joey showed Nancy some other dangerous stunt videos to get her reaction. Joey’s 9-year-old keeps sneezing really loud, and he thinks that he learned it from his mom. Joey keeps trying to make him sneeze at least a little quieter. Karly says that sneezing sounds are learned, and people that speak other languages don’t say “achoo” when sneezing. Lucky 7 for $50 to the Copper Cellar Family of Restaurants The weather over the weekend was not as bad as expected, but people don’t need to be hating on the meteorologists! Joey was most upset that his electric snow shovel didn’t come in the mail. Group Therapy – How Do I Get Out of Being a Bridesmaid for a Girl I Barely Know? Julia is dealing with some "weaponized niceness" at her work with one woman who can't remember her name in Group Therapy. Then we look at the hilarious tweets from LMPD over the weekend of people making bad decisions in the snow, we test Kelly's minimal #dudeknowledge and a guy tried to steal a harp and swim away in a #settingthebar.
After Hours takes a deeper turn as the crew sits with some of the most honest conversations yet. What starts as a discussion about parenting quickly opens into a real look at how kids are growing up in a world dominated by social media, constant access, and influences parents never had to deal with before. The group breaks down the challenge of raising children while accepting that this generation is living in a completely different reality. From there, the conversation moves into fathers having uncomfortable but necessary talks, the differences in how sons and daughters are raised, and how early guidance or the lack of it can shape confidence, boundaries, and decision-making later in life. They reflect on growing up with strict parents versus “cool” parents, being overly protected versus left to figure things out alone, and how both extremes can leave lasting effects. The episode also dives into relationships, sexual experiences, and the double standards that exist around them. The crew discusses how early encounters, power dynamics, and cultural norms affect men and women differently, and why certain experiences are normalized for one gender but stigmatized for the other. Therapy, compartmentalization, emotional triggers, and unhealed trauma all come up as they explore how people cope or avoid coping altogether. As the night unfolds, the focus shifts to family dynamics, especially parent-child relationships. There's an honest look at how siblings can grow up in the same household yet have completely different experiences, why parents show love in different ways, and how perspective changes with age. The episode closes with heartfelt reflections on aging parents, missed moments, and the importance of showing up while you still can.Raw, reflective, and unfiltered, this After Hours episode blends humor with vulnerability and reminds you why these late-night conversations hit different.

What happens when your girlfriend starts acting more like your mom than your partner? Our listener “Mike” needs help on how to handle it without hurting feelings.
Since 2016 is a trend on social media, TBT today featured only songs from that year! Plus Amy just moved here late last year and takes a crack at dethroning our pop culture queen in Can't Beat Kelly, then Mike feels like his girlfriend is momming him and needs advice in how to handle that in Group Therapy!
What do you do when your boyfriend's hero turns into your biggest red flag? A gym moment went sideways for our listener, Paige, and now she's stuck between protecting the relationship or speaking up!
We created a new bit to try to get to know our listeners a little more. You give us your name and age, and we make up your origin story. We think we were pretty spot on...and in Group Therapy, we talked to "Paige" about an incident involving her BF's brother she's wondering if she tells him about. Plus some Little Kid or Drunk Adult and the search for love involving the feminine products aisle at Kroger. Oh boy....

As therapists, many of us feel a deep tension when it comes to pricing—especially when we're creating group offers, workshops, or professional-facing experiences during uncertain social, political, and economic times. In this coaching episode, I sit down with trauma therapist Kim Torrence to explore what really comes up when we try to assign value to our work: fears about accessibility, old beliefs about service and self-sacrifice, money shame, and the pressure to “get it right” before we ever put an offer out into the world. This conversation goes far beyond the math of pricing. Together, we unpack the emotional and mindset barriers that often keep therapists stuck offering their most meaningful work for free or far below what's sustainable. If you're navigating private practice finances, pricing group offers, or wondering how to honor both your values and your own well-being, this episode is here to support you with clarity, reassurance, and grounded next steps.Charging for Group Work in Your Therapy PracticeWe talk about why pricing is deeply connected to mindset and visibility, not just numbers, and how perfectionism or overcomplicated tech can quietly keep meaningful offers stuck on the sidelines. Our conversation centers on starting simply, naming your value clearly, and allowing confidence to build through real-world action.(00:06:02) Helping Others Through Feelings of Loneliness(00:07:17) Operating Business as Usual During a Crisis(00:12:16) Valuing Self-Care for Therapists(00:14:50) Authentic Healing for Deep Thinkers(00:18:29) B2B Value and Pricing Insights(00:21:18) Valuing Group Offerings Effectively(00:24:52) Self-Worth and Vulnerability(00:26:36) Creating a Supportive Success Container(00:31:57) Gather Feedback, Build Testimonials(00:33:42) Stop Overcomplicating Your Work(00:36:24) Owning Your Value in PracticeFrom Free to Paid: Navigating Pricing, Visibility, and Worth as a TherapistIf Kim's experience feels familiar, you're not alone. Here are a few reflections and actions I invite you to consider as you navigate pricing, worthiness, and financial sustainability in your own practice:Give your offer the credit it deserves.Even a lunch-hour workshop or short group can be deeply transformational. Duration and ease do not determine impact.Price for the right people, not everyone.Instead of focusing on who can't afford your offer, get clear on who it's truly for—especially when your work supports other professionals who carry that value forward into their own communities.Separate worth from accessibility narratives.Pricing your work sustainably doesn't make you selfish or out of touch. It allows you to keep showing up, serving, and caring for yourself long-term.Keep it simple and start anyway. You don't need a perfect website, branding, or tech stack. A clear Google Doc explaining who the offer is for, why it matters, and how to join is more than enough to begin.Your skills, knowledge, and presence—yes, even in a modest group format—are valuable. Pricing them too low doesn't make your work more accessible; it often just makes it harder to keep...
Our listener either needs some tough love or encouragement in her current relationship and yes, it involves cheating.
We dove into a tricky territory on Group Therapy asking if cheaters can change, then Lanette tried her hand at #dudeknowledge and Chat GPT is gaslighting you on a very simple thing!
Flirting at work is one thing… finding out he's married is another. This has happened numerous times to our listener “Aly” and she wants to know how you really know if a guy is taken before it gets weird?

“Angi” is conflicted between what her friend is saying and what her brother is telling her.
Nancy had a dream that she got in the shoulder and neck twice while working as a bank teller. She woke up with pain in both places. We wonder if the pain caused the dream or vice versa. Do you want people to stop interrupting you? According to the FBI, if you add in a slight pause when you are talking, it makes the other person’s brain think what you are saying is important. Hot Tea: Matthew McConaughey has trademarked “Alright alright alright” and other phrases he uses to fight unauthorized use of AI. Jelly Roll is doing a voice acting role in a new animated movie called GOAT. A Marine posted a TikTok video asking Ella Langley to go to the Marine Corp Ball with him. A Verizon outage caused millions of people to be without cell service and internet yesterday. Nancy lost money during it because she wasn’t able to make her Facebook Marketplace sale. Verizon says it’s going to credit customers’ accounts, but we don’t think it will be a lot of money. Where’s the show we were supposed to get yesterday? We are confused about what’s going on with the weather, so we asked Sydney Sullivan from WVLT to explain it to us. Lucky 7 for $50 to Farmacy Michael Galyean, the viral Dancing Blue Shirt Guy from a UT Football game a few years back, is going to be on Next Level Chef, a cooking show with Gordon Ramsey. He told us about the audition process, what Gordon Ramsey was like, and more. We play “What Squirts the Most” for Rascal Flatts tickets! Two callers are assigned a condiment. Nancy goes into the parking lot and squirts both condiments. Whichever squirts the furthest wins the tickets! Group Therapy – Karly's friend is cat sitting for her grandma while she is on vacation. The cat passed away one day into the vacation, and she’s been lying to her grandma about it. She’s been telling her grandma that the cat is doing fine. She has no idea what to do about it or how to tell grandma. The Cotton Eyed Joe sign has come down and is being repaired. The new sign will have an updated logo and LED lights instead of neon. A round table episode with the A team, so Katie Lamb and Benn Wheeler joining Aidan and Sam to ramble about some climbing or vaguely climbing related topics. Does climbing need grades? Why are we so obsessed with maintaining the grading scale when other sports (that are similar but generally considered to be cooler) like skateboarding or surfing don't need them. Is climbing being underserved by those of us in the online space watering down our controversial opinions to avoid standing on the wrong side of a stand off with a mob? Then it devolves into a therapy session, can Aidan climb his best and maintain his relationships, can Katie ever live up to the high standards she sets herself? Did Benn really fail his maths exam? Can Sam justify allowing Frodo carry the one ring to Mordor? Find the answers to some of these and more in this week's episode! If you're enjoying the podcast and would like to support it, please consider checking out our Patreon page! : https://www.patreon.com/user?u=70353823 Support the show

Joey saw a lifehack on TikTok that says jumping up and down 50 times when you wake up has a lot of benefits and can help you feel good. Nancy has been determined to start going to the gym regularly, but she despises it. She has been making herself go because she knows it’s important for her health. There is a lawsuit with the Tennessee Attorney General and Metropolis parking that claims Metropolis has been overcharging people among other issues. Metropolis has agreed to a $9 million settlement, and customers will be getting refunds for that money. Crumbl Cookie is experimenting with DONUTS! Hot tea: Maren Morris claims that people in country music aren’t very friendly. Cody Johnson sometimes hangs out with (now released) inmates from when he was a prison guard. A woman was arrested after jumping naked into someone’s pond and claiming to be a mermaid. Joey is not envious of his friend that is still in the dating world. A “pig whisperer” helped rescue some pigs on an island in the TN River. Joey claimed that he could “speak cow” and demonstrated by mooing. Karly then tested Joey and Nancy’s animal noise abilities. Lucky 7 for $50 to Farmacy Joey and his wife got the email about 6th grade sex ed for his older son. Joey recalled his experience with sex ed in middle school. Group Therapy had us scratching our heads about whether it's real or not #binandkali. We launch a bit of a competition with our afternoon personality Emily, and the first Can't Beat Kelly and TBT of the year!
We got a message from a listener, if we're honest, we don't even know if it's real… but in the spirit of being fair… our listener is wondering how to go about stealing his cousin's girlfriend. He sees how his cousin treats her and has feelings.
Send us a textRHOSLC Greek Tragedy or Group Therapy Gone Wrong?RHOSLC Season 6 Episode 16 Sisters of Salt a Greek TragedyThe RHOSLC Season 6 finale, “Sisters of Salt, A Greek Tragedy,” opens with ritualistic visuals—white robes, masks, and an ominous “12 hours earlier”—setting the stage for what becomes one of the most emotionally chaotic finales in franchise history. As the women settle into Greece, Angie reveals she's commissioned a playwright, Stella, to write a play inspired by the group. The ladies describe themselves with varying levels of self-awareness, while underlying tensions simmer, particularly surrounding Meredith's behavior. Bronwyn reveals Meredith has been privately texting her, expressing paranoia that the group is “out to get her,” while simultaneously denying those conversations when confronted—fueling accusations of manipulation and emotional dishonesty. As the trip continues, Angie reconnects with her Greek roots, sharing painful family history involving war, loss, and migration, providing one of the episode's few grounded moments. Meanwhile, fractures deepen: Bronwyn confronts Meredith directly, accusing her of using her loyalty against others and ultimately cutting ties. The mood grows heavier on the sprinter van, where Meredith retreats into icy silence, while the rest of the group questions her credibility. By the time they arrive at a remote, haunted-looking location for the play, the group is emotionally primed for destruction rather than healing. The theatrical performance, The Sisters of Salt, becomes a brutal mirror—less Greek tragedy, more emotional firing squad. One by one, the women are “roasted” for their perceived flaws, culminating in accusations of betrayal, emotional walls, and performative vulnerability. The fallout is immediate: tears, walk-offs, and final confrontations. Meredith exits after being told the group is worried she's spiraling, while Bronwyn delivers a final blow by referencing rumors about Seth. As the episode closes, the women reflect on fractured relationships, personal growth, and unresolved pain—leaving viewers with lingering questions about authenticity, loyalty, and whether Meredith has ever truly let the audience see her real life.Support the showhttps://www.wewinewhenever.com/
