Dante Ollivierre sees stories everywhere. On the streets of Kingstown, in the quiet corners of St Vincent and the Grenadines, in the faces of people who carry their histories with pride. He is a director and creative director who listens closely, then shapes what he hears into images that breathe. His early training at Saint Vincent Community College helped sharpen his eye, but his instinct for truth is entirely his own. As a multidisciplinary storyteller, Dante pursues the kind of honesty that cannot be staged. He works to draw out raw performances, the kind that linger long after the screen fades to black. His background in documentary and corporate film production gives him a steady hand, yet his heart stays open to surprise. Each project becomes a search for a moment when real life steps into the frame. That dedication has carried him into new territory as an emerging filmmaker. Dante has led the production of documentaries and corporate films for the French Public Agency for International Technical Cooperation, working within the Expertise France program for the Caribbean Overseas Countries and Territories. His repertoire reaches across documentary films, music videos, and commercials, where he shifts with ease between bright aspirational energy and moody dramatic tension. Whatever the tone, he brings a sense of intention that holds the work together. As Founder & Creative Director of Offhand, Dante continues to expand his voice. His recent project, Bush Medicine: Stories that Remember the Land, invites listeners and viewers into the deep memory of place, showing how art can reconnect people to what sustains them. The Visual Intonation Podcast follows this journey, exploring how Dante builds meaning from light, sound, and human connection. Each episode becomes a lesson in how a filmmaker learns to see. Dante Ollivierre's Socials: Source: Instagram Danté (@danteollivierre) • Instagram photos and videos  Source: Vimeo Dante Ollivierre - Vimeo  Support the showVisual Intonation Website: https://www.visualintonations.com/Visual Intonation Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/visualintonation/Vante Gregory's Website: vantegregory.comVante Gregory's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/directedbyvante/ To support me on Patreon (thank you): patreon.com/visualintonations Tiktok: www.tiktok.com/@visualintonation Tiktok: www.tiktok.com/@directedbyvante

Kingstown never sleeps. It snarls. It churns. It eats the weak. With “Mayor of Kingstown” returning for Season 4, the Paramount+ thriller doubles down on the brutal machinery of power, corruption, and survival that has defined the series from the beginning. But this year, something shifts. A storm hits the city in the form of Edie Falco, who joins the show as Nina Hobbs, the new prison warden and a razor-sharp antagonist to Jeremy Renner's battered fixer, Mike McLusky.Joining Bingeworthy for this episode are Jeremy Renner and Edie Falco, who break down the fierce chess match between Mike and Nina, the sense of doom that defines their characters, and the existential question haunting this season.READ MORE: ‘IT: Welcome To Derry': Andy & Barbara Muschietti, Jason Fuchs & Brad Caleb Kane On Pennywise's Origins, Their Multi-Season Plan, And Their Experience on ‘The Flash' [Bingeworthy Podcast]Renner said the fun of their dynamic comes from how quickly civility slips into threat. He explained that their very first exchange set the tone. “From our first scene, it's like the lightest version of that, but it does just keep going, that chess match. But it's really good writing and when it's not, we fix it. And the job's easy and it becomes fun when you have really talented people to work with. You can really find nuances to things and not be like, it's not posturing. It becomes a really wonderful dance.” He added that beneath the barbs, both characters genuinely want some level of cooperation. “We are not playing like we hate each other. We want to work through this, but this is what I got to do.”

Rival gang members are murdering each other and setting their hangouts on fire, Kyle's falling under the influence of a dangerous inmate, Robert is a drunk time bomb ready to explode, and both Bunny's new friend and the new Warden are playing a dangerous game of "I'm the most powerful person here" and also "I really didn't take all the variables into account." But, y'know, that hot young rookie guard seems to have won Mike over by being nice to him, so hopefully she won't die. After that, Kathryn watched episode 6 of the final season of Star Trek: Lower Decks, which continues to be hilarious and freaking good-hearted. We also went off on a couple of tangents in this episode to rant about annoying AI recaps, and ads, and good god people, flogging a $400 gourmet lobster dinner delivery while people are trying to figure out how to feed their family do you really think this is the time and aaaarrrrgggh, why is Capitalism??This episode's outro is a clip from Millenia from Karl Casey @ White Bat.Follow along with the DragonFall Drawing Challenge on Instagram at FandragonAdams or Llyzabeth, or with the hashtag DragonFallDrawingChallenge2025.Looking for a present for that hard-to-shop-for person? This week on The Underground Lounge, Lou Williams and Spank Horton welcome Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist, educator, and actor D Smoke into the Lounge for one of the most layered and inspiring conversations yet. Coming straight out of Inglewood, D Smoke opens up about growing up in a musical household led by his gospel-singing mother, who taught him and his brothers the fundamentals of music from an early age. From learning piano at five to earning a full academic scholarship to UCLA, he shares how his foundation in discipline and faith set the tone for everything that came after.D Smoke takes the crew through his early start in the industry, writing for Jaheim at 19, building a home studio with his brothers, and navigating the highs and lows of being young and talented in Los Angeles. He talks about the family legacy that runs deep through his bloodline, including his grandmother's work with legends and the tough choices his mom made between touring with Stevie Wonder and raising her kids. The conversation dives into his time on Netflix's Rhythm + Flow, where his viral exchange with Snoop Dogg and eventual win put him on the global map, and the lessons he learned from that experience about authenticity and preparation. D Smoke also discusses his passion for teaching and how his work as an educator helped him connect to his community beyond music. From mastering Spanish and bringing bilingual storytelling into hip-hop, to finding balance between the streets and spirituality, D Smoke breaks down how duality shaped his artistry and worldview. He also opens up about stepping into acting, from early roles as a teen to his recent work on Mayor of Kingstown, and how storytelling in all forms fuels his purpose. The Lounge closes out with real talk on faith, family, boxing, mentorship, and what it means to lead with integrity in an industry built on perception. It's an episode that celebrates intellect, art, and the grind it takes to rise from Inglewood to international acclaim.

Christopher Moynihan, a former Jan. 6 rioter who received a full pardon from President Trump, is back in jail after being accused of threatening to kill House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. CBS News congressional correspondent Scott MacFarlane reports. The Louvre Museum in Paris reopened Wednesday for the first time after Sunday's heist. The thieves are still on the run. CBS News' Elizabeth Palmer reports on the latest in the investigation and how much the stolen jewels are worth. Most Americans say they want political options beyond Democrat and Republican to vote for. "CBS Mornings" co-host Tony Dokoupil sat down with unsatisfied voters to discuss a possible platform and if there's a path to a viable third option. Activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai joins "CBS Mornings" to discuss her new memoir, "Finding My Way." In the book, Yousafzai reflects on life beyond her activism — from falling in love to discovering who she is years after surviving a Taliban attack at age 15. Music icon Annie Lennox joins Anthony Mason to look back on her groundbreaking journey from her early days in Scotland to global fame with Eurythmics. Her new book, "Annie Lennox: Retrospective," chronicles the moments, music and message that defined her career and inspired a generation. Jeremy Renner and Emmy Award-winning actress Edie Falco join "CBS Mornings" to discuss the return of the hit Paramount+ series "Mayor of Kingstown." Falco joins the cast as Nina Hobbs, the new warden at Anchor Bay Prison, as Renner's character Mike McLusky faces new challenges inside and outside the prison walls. Actress Allison Williams joins "CBS Mornings" to discuss her role in Paramount Pictures' new film "Regretting You," based on Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel. Williams, who also serves as an executive producer, plays a mother navigating grief and connection alongside her daughter, portrayed by McKenna Grace. Send us a textWe start the show by giving our thoughts on HBO's ‘Task'. From the same creators of “Mayor of Kingstown', how do feel it matches up against the long running HBO franchise? This leads us into a discussion as to whether we grade shows differently based on if we know the area it takes place in.Kimmel and Colbert had a joint simulcast on each other shows the other night. This leads us into a discussion about the overwhelming uproar on Kimmel and Colbert‘s suspensions. From our conversation last episode, is the recent Jimmy Kimmel situation (and the outcry that occurred from it) a clear indication that the first amendment is here to stay due to the self policing by the American people? Likewise, whatever happened to the late night host hating each other? Do we miss this and, most importantly, do we want it back?Despite filming not finished, Christopher Nolan's new movie, The Odyssey, has already has begun selling out in IMAX theaters across the country. This leads us into a short discussion on whether the screen size affects our movie going experiences. Are movies being made today even worth seeing in bigger screens, such as IMAX? Our answers might surprise you.THEN: British Corner. Rhea reviews the sixth season of ‘Unforgotten' on Acorn. As one of her favorite British shows of all time, why did she wait until the whole season came out to review it? What does this have to say about how Acorn, and British shows as a whole, release their content? Why is this murder mystery, in particularly this season, so intriguing and such a must watch in Rhea's eyes?Angelo reviews Netflix's 'Black Rabbit'. What about Jason Bateman‘s performance in this show makes it a must watch? He also give a cliff hanger for a British Rom- Com for Rhea to review next week.Jay finishes up the show by giving us, what he believes, is the best movie of this decade. Andrew Lockington Interview - This week on Sync Music Matters I'm joined by Canadian composer Andrew Lockington whose music you may have heard recently on shows like Mayor of Kingstown, Lioness and Landman. All shows which were created and directed by Taylor Sheridan  We delve into the score for Landman, Andrew's creative process and how a lot of the music was written before any footage has been shot. We also discuss the art of embracing imperfection and how the emotion behind the music is maybe more important than the music itself. Andrew also reveals why he thinks that only 50% of composing is actually about the music.   Andrew Lockington is best-known for his epic scores to the Warner Bros. blockbusters San Andreas, Rampage and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, which together have surpassed over $1 billion in box office revenues. Recent and current credits include Netflix's epic sci-fi feature Atlas starring Jennifer Lopez and several projects with Taylor Sheridan including Mayor of Kingstown, Lioness and Landman. Andrew is always looking to push the boundaries of film scoring which has led him to recording in exotic locations like jungles of Papua New Guinea, ancient temples in Northern Japan, a volcano in Polynesia and an abandoned subway station beneath central London. Here's 81-year-old Father Ron Knott in a wide ranging conversation with Terry Meiners on Heaven, humor, the impact of prayers, sin, loneliness, and living life as a Catholic priest.bio from his website at fatherknott.comI am a priest of the Archdiocese of Louisville, Kentucky. Ordained May 16, 1970, I have served as a home missionary, college teacher, campus minister, pastor, cathedral rector, traveling evangelist, homiletics instructor, archdiocesan vocation director, founding director of the Saint Meinrad Seminary Institute for Priests and Presbyterates and a weekly columnist for 15 years.I have given major addresses at national conventions on church renovation, parish revitalization, homiletics, presbyteral unity and vocations. I have presented more than 80 parish missions and retreats and led more than 150 presbyteral convocations around the US and nine countries abroad.I have a Master of Divinity degree from Saint Meinrad School of Theology in Indiana and a Doctor of Ministry degree from McCormick Presbyterian Seminary in Chicago. I have authored several books for clergy and published several collections of my homilies and fifteen volumes of my For the Record book series. A few of my books for clergy are available in Spanish, Vietnamese and Swahili. In my retirement, besides the things listed above, I had been volunteering in the Diocese of Kingstown in the island country of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and serving as the founder of the Catholic Second Wind Guild (a volunteer organization for retired priests and lay people wanting to volunteer their time, expertise, connections in the Caribbean missions). After six years and twelve trips, I recently ended that organization due to COVID and travel restriction. With a major volcano eruption, it has become obvious that I need to make a wise and timely decision to find a cause closer to home. Long distance travels seem to be a “thing of the past” at least for the foreseeable future. In April of 2021, I decided to focus my attention on my home parish of Saint Theresa of Avila an hour away from where I now live. I have the dream of turning my old grade school building, Saint Theresa School which was closed in 1993, into a new Saint Theresa Family Life Center to serve the whole area.  My third cousin, Father Bob Ray, another priest from the same parish, is partnering with me by founding the Saint Theresa Heritage Partners, an alumni organization of the parish and school, to support this effort. I will lead the remodeling project of the Saint Theresa Family Life Center. Click on St. Theresa Heritage Partners and St. Theresa Family Life Center in the menu bar for more information.
