Ferrari présente ce lundi sa toute première voiture 100% électrique. L'événement est loin d'être anecdotique. Au-delà du simple lancement d'un nouveau modèle, c'est tout le secteur du luxe automobile qui est confronté à une révolution industrielle, technologique et émotionnelle. Entre contraintes réglementaires, enjeux de prestige et défi de l'innovation, les grandes marques doivent réinventer leur modèle. Le monde automobile vit aujourd'hui un moment historique. Le mythique constructeur italien Ferrari présente sa toute première voiture 100% électrique. À première vue, cela pourrait sembler anecdotique. Un constructeur de plus qui se convertit à la batterie. En réalité, l'enjeu dépasse largement le simple lancement d'un nouveau véhicule. Car pour le secteur du luxe automobile, c'est une véritable révolution. Aujourd'hui, l'automobile haut de gamme vit une contradiction majeure. D'un côté, elle doit s'électrifier. Les réglementations environnementales se durcissent partout dans le monde, et l'Europe vise la fin des ventes de voitures thermiques neuves à l'horizon 2035. Mais de l'autre, les marques de prestige vendent bien plus qu'un moyen de transport. Acheter une Ferrari, une Lamborghini ou une Porsche, c'est acheter une histoire, un imaginaire, un prestige, presque une appartenance. C'est intégrer une communauté, un univers, un mythe. C'est justement ce qui rend la transition électrique si complexe. Le défi de l'électrique: préserver l'émotion et l'ADN des marques de luxe Quand on pense voiture de luxe, on pense immédiatement au bruit du moteur, au rugissement d'une Ferrari, à cette signature sonore reconnaissable entre toutes. Plus largement, le luxe automobile repose depuis toujours sur des codes clairs : plus de puissance, plus de cylindres, plus de bruit, plus de sensations, plus de légèreté. On achète la voiture, bien sûr. Mais on achète aussi, et surtout, le son qu'elle produit, les vibrations qu'elle procure, l'émotion mécanique qu'elle transmet. Le problème, c'est que la voiture électrique ne coche pas naturellement toutes ces cases. Elle est plus silencieuse. Et c'est paradoxalement son principal défaut sur le segment du luxe. Une voiture électrique ne « fait pas vroum ». Cela peut faire sourire, mais le sujet est pris très au sérieux par les constructeurs. Des milliards sont investis pour recréer artificiellement ce que le moteur thermique produisait naturellement. Chez Mercedes-Benz, la nouvelle AMG électrique simule les passages de vitesse et reproduit même le son d'un moteur thermique. Chez Porsche, un travail important est mené sur les vibrations et le ressenti de conduite. Chez Ferrari, il est même question de « préserver l'ADN sonore de la marque ». Autrement dit, jouer sur l'émotion jusqu'au bout. Et cette émotion passe aussi par le prix. Ferrari devrait positionner son premier modèle électrique autour de 550 000 euros. Un choix cohérent avec sa stratégie historique, privilégier la valeur au volume. Dans le luxe, le prix n'est pas qu'un tarif. Il crée la rareté, nourrit le désir et filtre les clients. Clientèle, industrie, obsolescence, les trois grands défis du luxe électrique Pour Ferrari, l'équation est délicate. Le constructeur doit réussir un grand écart. Rassurer ses clients historiques, attachés au moteur thermique et à tout ce qu'il représente, tout en séduisant une nouvelle génération d'acheteurs. Une clientèle plus jeune, plus sensible aux enjeux environnementaux, et surtout très présente en Asie, où la voiture électrique est largement plébiscitée et perçue comme un symbole de modernité. Mais au-delà du client, l'enjeu est aussi industriel. Le prestige automobile ne se jouera plus seulement sur la mécanique traditionnelle. Demain, la différence se fera sur la batterie, sur son poids, sur le logiciel embarqué, sur les moteurs électriques et sur la capacité des constructeurs à développer leurs propres technologies. Le moteur V12, symbole d'hier, laisse progressivement place à une nouvelle bataille, celle de l'innovation. Et puis il y a un autre sujet, plus discret, l'obsolescence. Une Ferrari thermique peut devenir un objet de collection. Une Ferrari de 1985 peut encore faire rêver aujourd'hui. Mais une Ferrari électrique de 2025 fera-t-elle encore rêver en 2045 ? La question est loin d'être anodine. Car acheter une voiture de luxe, c'est souvent acheter un patrimoine. Un actif. Un objet de transmission. Reste désormais à savoir si ce prestige-là est pleinement compatible avec l'électrique. C'est tout l'enjeu de cette nouvelle ère pour le luxe automobile. The follow-up to the Bad Swing Advice Hall of Fame is finally here. After the first podcast, Mike Granato & Shaun Webb were flooded the comments with one reques... do the BEST swing advice version. So Shaun and Mike sat down and inducted the cues they use to fix more amateur swings than anything else.The first inductee alone fixes 999 out of 1000 golfers. The trail arm has to lift and stay wide in the backswing. Almost every amateur lowers it. Almost every tour player lifts it. It's the single most common move that separates the buckets.They also induct Scott Hamilton's "on plane early" cue, the recentering concept that AMG named years ago, the Lazy Susan downswing, the "no hip turn in the backswing" foundation (with a nod to Dr. Kwon's "turn shoulders, tilt hips"), and the driver tip that finally lines up the clubface without forcing shaft lean.These are the cues AMG uses to coach players off the hamster wheel and into real ball striking improvement.
