Aqui no PAPO CAFÉ!
On this BONUS episode of Espresso Yourself, Lynn, Riley, and Giabib present material that never made it to the full episode! Enjoy!

Jules and Tracy are sisters who opened Espresso Yourself with a simple mission: to create good vibes and serve great coffee & food. Located in the Macklind Business District of St. Louis, their joy-inspiring cafe lifts up the community, the people, and the businesses around them. They joined us on this episode of Food on the Table to share their story, and it's a fun one. And their story is great --- we talk about: How they came up with the idea and what it took to open Espresso Yourself / What it's like working together and how they play to their individual strengths / The impact of COVID-19, and how they continued to build community despite a 6-week closure / How they became published authors and what they learned in telling their individual stories / What they had to do to re-open their coffeshop and cafe, and what the future holds. This is a freewheeling episode with lots of laughter. Get ready to get happy. And stick around for a special postscript segment about how a television show proved just how much their customers care about stepping up for what's right! Espresso Yourself By Any Beans Necessary We live in a world where outside marketing forces make millions by seducing and influencing us to buy their product or services. Then we spend endless hours on social media unconsciously consuming other people's perfectly-curated feeds. It's easy to feel brainwashed into wanting these people's lives. This desire causes us to mimic what we see so we can attempt to "fit in and be happy." After spending much of my life getting bullied, all I ever wanted was to fit in—but I'm realizing I'd rather express myself as I am and stand out. So many of us creatives want to show up and be seen. However, we play it safe and tiptoe the edge of what's comfortable and what we think others want to see. That's why part two of the Coffee Caffeinated Kick Series is all about Espresso Yourself By Any Beans Necessary. Today's episode is a two-part approach to playing the short game while planning for the long game. The Short Game First, our focus starts by helping you find your groove and voice by creating work that expresses yourself. We do this by breaking away from people-pleasing and celebrating our weird. The Long Game Second, I'm planting a bigger picture in your head of how your work should target one specific person (your perfect follower). Then, we'll talk about scaling that to 1,000 True Fans to make a living as a creator. Enjoy This Episode? This morning we come to the final message in this series called Espresso Yourself. And the final shot of espresso that I want to serve to you is all about enthusiasm. Enthusiasm – as we shall see – is a powerful, caffeinated God-thing that is worth striving for. The enthusiasm I want to talk about this morning is not something that is dependent upon everything going right for us in the world, but it’s more about us being right with God – us being “in God” - “en Theos”. Major Graham Mizon
Thank you — two powerful words. Thank you — two trajectory —changing words. Thank you — two words that can be like two shots of espresso. I believe that God wants us to live lives of true and deep appreciation. He wants our lives to be so caffeinated with God’s love that we adopt a spirit of gratitude. And this is what I want to talk about in this third message in this caffeinated series – Espresso Yourself. Graham Mizon
1 Corinthians 13 Espresso provides a theme and a backdrop for this series of sermons: Espresso Yourself. Christian’s need to be caffeinated with God and be a powerful punch for Him. I have another message this morning that packs a powerful caffeinated punch. I am going to talk to you about some of the strongest stuff, and, like espresso, some of the bitterest stuff that we as Christian’s have to swallow. Graham Mizon
Starting this morning is a new four-week series called Espresso Yourself. At Regent Hall, we have recently opened our refurbished Oasis Café, and in doing so, we have introduced real espresso coffee. Suddenly, we have become caffeinated with this strong coffee that packs a real punch for serious coffee drinkers. In much the same way our lives can make a powerful impact on those around us. This series promises to caffeinated your Christianity as you understand what it means to Espresso Yourself in ways that glorify God and build up others. Major Graham Mizon
