We enter the 3rd Dimension to do so and we get even more of cops being stupid the movie, more gore, and the first public display of Jigsaw's talents with one of the most ludicrous and over the top traps the franchise has ever gifted us. We put another franchise to bed with this week's look at 2022's "requel/retcon/reboot/continuation/whatever the new word is now" of Netflix's Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It's a spirited debate where we talk the politics of this movie, it's treatment of the franchise's signature final girl, protagonists that give Franklin a run for his money in the "so annoying please just kill the already" department, finally delivering on the promise of an actual chainsaw massacre and we have a very divided panel when we discuss the last scene of the movie, We're joined by special guest Sarah Stubbs of Geeks Who Eat & the Final Girls Feast podcast. 

The week we're reviewing one of the big 3 of horror. It's Freddie Kruger and "A Nightmare On Elm Street". There are 9 movies and 2 seasons of a TV series. This killer is different from others in that Freddie haunts you in your sleep---- and everybody has to sleep at some point. Over the course of his run, Freddy has developed into a wise cracking trickster. So, during our time with Women in Horror Month, I’ve talked to a great assortment of people, that has been established, but today is a truly different one. Sarah is one of the founders of Geeks Who Eat, a brand dedicated to making recipes based off of films of all genres, and as somebody who is terrible at cooking (even if Sarah doesn’t believe people can’t cook), I found her work to be fascinating and completely unique to the industry.In the time that Geeks Who Eat has been around, Sarah and her husband have worked a great deal of events, and they have even worked for massive production companies in one way or another. She shares her recipes with the world, and they are all completely original as well. From fantasy to horror, there’s something for everybody on her site. However, horror is where her heart is. She has such a passion for food, movies, and especially horror, that it brought her and her husband together in a very touching way.Geeks Who Eat is an incredibly popular website and brand, they have a cookbook on the go, and are looking to build their brand in the near future with other outlets. Sarah is a deeply dedicated and passionate woman, and it really shows in her work.
