This week we are back with a not so final chapter of Saw 3D. We are here to find out how the story of John Kramer, Amanda, and John's large adult son Detective Hoffman wraps up once and for all. We enter the 3rd Dimension to do so and we get even more of cops being stupid the movie, more gore, and the first public display of Jigsaw's talents with one of the most ludicrous and over the top traps the franchise has ever gifted us. We also discuss the Intriguing premise of John punishing someone for lying about being in one of his traps while lamenting with the fact that this great idea wasn't presented all that well. all this in so much more with perhaps the most over the top in goofiest entry of the franchise to date with special guest Sarah Stubbs from Final Girls Feast and Geeks Who Eat. Minor spoilers for SAW X between 1:40:30 & 1:43:39 where Mike asks a question that literally breaks Ari's brain in real time. Check out Ariel's article “The Hypocrisy of Jigsaw” here

Box Office Pulp | Film Analysis, Movie Retrospectives, Commentary Tracks, Comedy, and More
On this special Thanksgiving episode, Box Office Pastries treats you to an expertly crafted culinary experience that will leave your earbuds raving! We welcome to our kitchen guest sous-chef Sarah Stubbs of Geeks Who Eat, who has prepared an appetizer of sinful cuisine confessions. Next comes the main course, a delightful desiccation of Mark Mylod's delectable horror debut, The Menu. Our love for this satire of class, pretention, and the disregard for labor is apparent in every savory bite -- and don't you dare ask for ketchup! Next up comes the dessert, as Sarah bakes a love letter to gastro-horror, a subgenre whose entries number in the hundreds, some of them even good! Finally, once you've finished we will provide a take-home box, colloquially known as a "dog's bag," filled with after-dinner discourse on the finer points of fine dining, and the poorer points of poor punmanship. Enjoy, and we implore you, take all you want, but please eat what you take.Take part in this taboo dish by listening now!Get 20% OFF MANSCAPED + Free Shipping with promo code BOXOFFICEPULP at MANSCAPED.com!Follow Sarah @SpookySarahSaysFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/BoxOfficePulpPodcast/Twitter: https://twitter.com/BoxOfficePulpApple Podcasts: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/box-office-pulp/id577338641Amazon Podcasts: https://music.amazon.com/podcasts/7c11ff8b-2875-454d-8770-8b1d36d04b52Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/534ZPRmDoZzNs5GtiAhOEcStitcher: http://www.stitcher.com/s?fid=37192&refid=stpr
We put another franchise to bed with this week's look at 2022's "requel/retcon/reboot/continuation/whatever the new word is now" of Netflix's Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It's a spirited debate where we talk the politics of this movie, it's treatment of the franchise's signature final girl, protagonists that give Franklin a run for his money in the "so annoying please just kill the already" department, finally delivering on the promise of an actual chainsaw massacre and we have a very divided panel when we discuss the last scene of the movie, We're joined by special guest Sarah Stubbs of Geeks Who Eat & the Final Girls Feast podcast.
The week we're reviewing one of the big 3 of horror. It's Freddie Kruger and "A Nightmare On Elm Street". There are 9 movies and 2 seasons of a TV series. This killer is different from others in that Freddie haunts you in your sleep---- and everybody has to sleep at some point. Over the course of his run, Freddy has developed into a wise cracking trickster. Sure Jason and Michael will kill ya-- but Freddy will talk smack about ya before he does. And 2 Geeks Who Eat have a "Nightmare" pairing here It, of course, contains lots of caffeine. Photo Credit: Here

RAW is a coming of age story through the lens of cannibalism and extreme body horror. Julia Ducournau's feature directing debut alternates between strikingly beautiful imagery and blood soaked horror that sickens the stomach. This week we're joined by Reyna Cervantes (co-host Horror in Session) and Sarah Anne Stubbs (co-host Geeks Who Eat) to talk the near Cronenbergian levels of body horror RAW delivers. So, during our time with Women in Horror Month, I’ve talked to a great assortment of people, that has been established, but today is a truly different one. Sarah is one of the founders of Geeks Who Eat, a brand dedicated to making recipes based off of films of all genres, and as somebody who is terrible at cooking (even if Sarah doesn’t believe people can’t cook), I found her work to be fascinating and completely unique to the industry. In the time that Geeks Who Eat has been around, Sarah and her husband have worked a great deal of events, and they have even worked for massive production companies in one way or another. She shares her recipes with the world, and they are all completely original as well. From fantasy to horror, there’s something for everybody on her site. However, horror is where her heart is. She has such a passion for food, movies, and especially horror, that it brought her and her husband together in a very touching way.Geeks Who Eat is an incredibly popular website and brand, they have a cookbook on the go, and are looking to build their brand in the near future with other outlets. Sarah is a deeply dedicated and passionate woman, and it really shows in her work. Women in Horror Month isn’t just about celebrating people who work in traditional mediums, that much has been shown throughout this interview series, and Sarah is one of the truly special cases. I’ve never spoken to anybody like her before, and I highly encourage you to visit her website to get some fun and delicious recipes. I know I will. Just think, the next horror or Halloween party you have could blow people away if you use one of Sarah’s designs!Check out Geeks Who Eat here: https://2geekswhoeat.com/Spooky Sarah Says- SpookySarahSays.comGeeksWhoEat on all socialSpookySarahSays on all social See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
We wrap up our coverage of the Blair Witch franchise with a look back at the Simon Barrett / Adam Wingard sequel to TBWP.
