This episode gets crazy quickly, as one of us took this assignment very seriously and the other... not so much. We to talk about some of the worst film fathers ever put on screen. We also have a ton of new movies to share first impressions: Dustin watched Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, Thunderbolts*, Heart Eyes, The Four Seasons, Missing, In a Violent Nature, and YOU (Season 1). While Jake gives his impressions of Black Mirror Season 7, Severance Season 2, Fear Street: Prom Queen, Juror #2, Another Simple Favor, and lots of Keanu with Ana De Armas in Exposed and Knock Knock... plus the Wick is Pain documentary. And the Movie Draft has a major lead change. Oh, and HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! Get ready to spark up your nostalgia because this week on No More Late Fees, Danielle, Jackie, and their cousin Marc are rolling deep into the ultimate nineties and 2000s stoner movie showdown — a Mount Kushmore of cinematic greatness! From the pure munchie-fueled chaos of Half Baked to the epic fast-food quest in Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, the gang debates which faded flicks deserve the highest honors. Expect a lot of laughs, a few honorary shout-outs (Super Troopers, anyone?), and enough quotable moments to fill a Red and Blue Slurpee bucket. But that's not all — between movie drafts, they dive into chaotic snack dreams, questionable 90s playlists (who is Jimmy Ray?), and ultimate "Friday" fantasies featuring Adam Sandler, Regina Hall, and, naturally, copious amounts of Funyuns and Surge. Three months in, we finally hold the 2025 Movie Draft, where we try to select (what we hope will be) thirty of the biggest and best movies of the year to our teams. We'll track progress and major matchups throughout the 2025 season, and talk a whole lot of trash. Jake gives his first impressions after seeing "Alien: Romulus," "Civil War," and of course the new season of "Love is Blind." We also correct the Bond movie news from two eps ago. Then finally, we got to watch a very impressive new short film hitting festivals soon called "Liquor Bank" and share all our thoughts. Thanks to Adam Freed from MovieArcher.com for the opportunity.
