This week we're going to take another listen to one of my all time favorite episodes of the show thus far. This episode is a true embodiment of why I wanted to create this show in the first place. A heart to heart with one of my favorite women and friends, Stephanie Shepherd - or as she's known on the internet, Steph Shep. You probably know Steph most notably from her connection to the Kardashians (she was Kim's assistant for years and is now a permanent part of their world). Which is kind of why I love this episode. I love that you'll hear Steph's side of the story when she stopped being Kim's assistant and instead, in true Saturn Return fashion, decided to create a life of her own. With no plan and a huge following awaiting her next move, she admits she didn't get off the couch for a couple weeks. She talks about how annoying the media was at the time, twisting their professional parting of the ways to make it seem like a friendship breakup - which, as we now know, was far from the case. Steph is a Virgo, a hustler, the best friend you always wanted, and is a lethal combination of beauty and brains that is just, quite frankly unfair. But the best part about Steph is somehow able to keep it so real with her wickedly sarcastic, self-deprecating sense of humor while managing to be one of the most admired and envied women out there. Stephanie Shepherd is best known for her style, beauty secrets, and work as a humanitarian. Steph is an entrepreneur, environmental advocate, and tastemaker who educates her millions of followers on blending luxury lifestyle and conscious consumerism. Formerly the COO of Kardashian West Brands, Steph and has since established her own platform and partnered with American Express, Google, and J Brand — among other prominent brands. She's a monthly contributor to (Kourtney Kardashian's website, Poosh and Elle Magazine. In 2019, Steph co-founded the digital climate education platform, @FutureEarth. She is also an ambassador for Days For Girls International, and The Environmental Working Group, as well as working with politicians on new climate change initiatives. What I love most about our conversation is that Steph really peeled back the social media curtain and let us in on the reality of her world. She is so real, so relatable, you can't help but fall in love with her after listening tothis episode. We talked about feeling pressure to have it all figured out in your twenties, getting fired, the things that make her feel most insecure, the awkwardness of ending a friendship, the identity struggles that came with growing up as an Asian kid in a white rural town in Ohio, and why she has chosen to start a relationship with her father. She reminds us that everyone isn't having as much fun as it looks on Instagram and that we have so much in common—especially on our shittiest days. We're back for part two of the family trip to Costa Rica but unlike Scott and Kourtney's relationship, this ep really fizzled out fast. We still have PLENTY to talk about, including Steph Shep's killer interview, a Joe Biden family sex scandal, and realizing Kylie might actually just still be a kid. Also, this week we get to some fun listener emails, including learning the correct way to pronounce the last name of a major KUWTK player who Jess is particularly obsessed with right now.

This was maybe our FAVORITE episode to recap this season. We're in the desert of Dubai, we're at a Costa Rican Dinosaur Park, we're on the back porch at Hugo's, and Scott might have had a new in lady in each of those locations. Kardashian family vacations are always a favorite and this one is filled with sex, lies, and Steph Shep on the phone with security again.
