It's Boxing Wednesdays and we spoke to Boxing SA CEO Tsholo Lejaka about the upcoming boxing convention. IBF Flyweight Champion Moruthi Mthalane was our guest as we looked back at his career. We also paid tribute to the late boxer Themba Joyi.

The Orient Theatre was stunned into silence as Azinga Fuzile suffered an eighth round knockout to Shavkat Rakhimov in a IBF world lightweight title elimination bout in East London on Sunday. Controversy reigned after a video footage surfed showing Rakhimov's camp putting what looked like a banned substance called “Smelling Salts”. We spoke to Azinga's trainer Colin Nathan and Rumble Africa Promotions CEO Nomfesane Nyathela after they lodged a complaint with the IBF. We also spoke to Boxing SA CEO Tsholo Lejaka on their protest. We also spoke to Emmanuel Mutavhatsindi on the upcoming tournament in Malamulele in Giyani.

We spoke to Jared “The Storm” Lovett who accuses Boxing SA of denying him the right to fight despite being medically cleared fit to get back in the ring. We also spoke Lovett's promoter Andre Thysse. BSA also give their side of the story, CEO of BSA Tsholo Lejaka spoke to us.
