This week: Jason recaps the latest Hagerty ICONS video - discussing Temerario, the new baby Lamborghini, and its siblings from different eras of baby Lambo family tree. Needless to say, it's quite a performer - the likes of which have never been approached by any other non-speciality Lamborghini ever. But is that alone enough to make it an icon? Maybe not. But why? === INSURANCE QUOTE: Visit https://hagerty.com/jason or https://jasonsentme.com === The latest ICONS video goes over three distinct chapters in the history of the Baby Lamborghini, each defined by the engine - the first of which is the cross-plane crank V8 era led by the Urraco, Silhouette, and Jalpa. We learn - these cars are pleasantly surprising to drive near their limits, and while they were all a lot slower than the V12 Countach that joined the lineup in the late 70s/early 80s, they exhibited playful driving characteristics, exotic interiors, great sounds, and other pleasant surprises you might not expect. But despite their charm, they didn't do well for the brand - and Lamborghini struggled to move them. And so, baby Lambos went on hiatus for a while. But after Audi obtained Lamborghini, they returned - in the form of the Gallardo and Huracán. And quite the opposite happened - a brand once struggling, came back to life filled with 10 cylinder song, and stuck around for well over 15 years. But what about the newest era - the Temerario, and its hybrid flat-plane crank V8? Will it continue to impress like its 10 cylinder siblings did? Or is it too complicated and too focused on speed to bring the same life back to the brand? And as we approach Monterey Car Week, the topic returns - what group of cars and drivers will wreak the most havoc? Will it be the Altima drivers? G80 M3s? Or will it be supercars - perhaps…the ones discussed in this episode? We'll find out later this week! In the meantime, watch this episode to find out - or, watch the latest ICONS first! #313: Immer wieder blickt Sebastián verstört zurück. Verfolgt ihn jemand? If you've ever wondered what happens when St. Louis collectively loses its mind over bread, a pet kangaroo becomes public enemy number one, and everyone starts planning for an NBA team that doesn't technically exist yet... congratulations, you've found today's episode. On today's daily comedy show, the gang dives headfirst into the internet meltdown surrounding Panera moving its headquarters to Boston. Is this another Rams-level betrayal, or are people simply way too emotionally invested in soup and sandwiches? The debate gets surprisingly passionate, with theories, conspiracy-level outrage, and enough Bread Co. nostalgia to butter an entire bakery. Then things somehow get even stranger. There's a real pet kangaroo named Rufus hopping around Missouri after escaping from his enclosure, launching one of the funniest conversations we've ever had about exotic pets, Australian wildlife, boxing kangaroos, and why absolutely nobody expects to look out their kitchen window and see a four-foot marsupial staring back at them.As if that wasn't enough, the crew gets excited about rumors that St. Louis could someday land an NBA franchise, debates whether the Portland Trail Blazers could become the St. Louis Trail Blazers, imagines new arenas, and immediately starts spending money that doesn't exist.Of course, because this is The Rizzuto Show, we also somehow end up talking about armadillos, leprosy, Anthony Bourdain conspiracy theories, earthquake anxiety, weird Missouri wildlife, celebrity gossip, local news, and enough random detours to make your GPS quit.Expect sarcastic takes, ridiculous hypotheticals, hilarious fails, pop culture commentary, local St. Louis chaos, and the kind of conversations that only happen when six people completely refuse to stay on topic.Whether you're here for funny news, celebrity nonsense, Missouri weirdness, or just need something to laugh at during your commute, this episode delivers exactly the kind of beautiful train wreck you've come to expect. Thanks for making us part of your day. Keep sharing the show, keep telling your friends, and remember: if you see a kangaroo in Missouri...maybe it's actually a kangaroo. One innocent bakery van. One suspicious slogan. One studio full of adults who absolutely refused to let it go.What should have been a simple conversation about Nothing Bundt Cakes rapidly devolves into one of those classic Rizz Show debates where nobody can agree if a marketing slogan is clever, completely innocent, or unintentionally one of the funniest things ever printed on a delivery van. From there...because this is The Rizzuto Show...the conversation somehow shifts into Halloween party planning, costumes nobody should wear, Ballpark Village's Freak Show bash, and why Halloween somehow starts before August even arrives. The crew also dives into major local news as Hollywood River Studios announces plans that could transform the Metro East into a legitimate production hub. Massive sound stages, esports arenas, film tax credits, and the possibility of movies being made just across the river all have the crew imagining what St. Louis could become.Technology also gets roasted when Apple unveils its new hardware leasing program. Is leasing your iPhone actually smart? Is owning anything becoming a thing of the past? The gang debates whether renting phones is the future or just another monthly bill nobody asked for. Then it's time for a packed Crap on Celebrities featuring entertainment headlines involving Jared Leto allegations, Usher's awkward concert moment, Katy Perry's inflatable crowd-surfing fail, new music from Tony Iommi, Peter Gabriel's latest full moon release, Marvel movie rankings, celebrity birthdays, and plenty of sarcastic commentary that somehow makes even serious stories feel like hanging out with your funniest friends.Along the way you'll also hear debates about when kids should start paying their own phone bills, why Terry Crews seems like the nicest guy alive, Bob Hope trivia nobody expected, and enough random tangents to make your morning commute disappear. Some shows ease into the day. We immediately start arguing over Missouri's official state animal, accidentally insult half the Midwest, and somehow end up talking about rabid beavers terrorizing New York. Pretty standard Tuesday around here. The gang discovers that Missouri's official state animal isn't nearly as obvious as anyone thought, learns way more about mule breeding than anyone requested, debates whether a charging beaver should be kicked like "nature's football," and wonders why every state seems to have picked the weirdest possible mascot. Then it's time for one of the greatest disasters in recent memory: Read My Lips. Words like butt crack, flamethrower, cinnamon, armadillo, bidet, mothballs, Sasquatch, cornhole, and fruitcake somehow become Big Rig, Philadelphia, Hope Solo, Powder Keg, and whatever "Quantana Roo" is supposed to be. Nobody can read lips, everyone is somehow overconfident anyway, and the callers suffer right along with us.King Scott proves that facial hair is apparently the ultimate lip-reading defense system. Moon keeps inventing new techniques. Rafe becomes increasingly concerned about everyone's strategy. Lern somehow turns perfectly normal words into complete mysteries. Riz somehow nails "cornhole" while missing words he literally owns.Along the way we also dive into:• Missouri mule history• Rabid beaver attacks• Weird state facts• Listener games• Complete communication breakdowns• More accidental nonsense than should legally fit into one morning showIf you enjoy ridiculous conversations that somehow become educational, questionable wildlife discussions, hilarious games, and friends relentlessly roasting each other, you've found your people.New episodes of our daily comedy podcast drop every weekday with celebrity news, weird stories, listener games, and enough sarcasm to make your coworkers wonder why you're laughing at your desk.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShowHear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.Shots fired into Creve Coeur home, police investigatingCould the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers move to St. Louis?A kangaroo on the looseA 4,000-year-old disease is on the rise in this state thanks to armadillosJapan earthquake: At least 13 dead, death toll expected to riseApple Upgrade: Here's the monthly subscription cost for every productWhat happened to leaving the groom at the altar like an adult? You can feel when a Nationals is being built with real intention and Fort Wayne is making that case early. We sit down with John Figueroa, chair of the 2026 IPMS USA National Convention, and treasurer Dave Mason to get the behind-the-scenes look at what's coming to the Grand Wayne Convention Center in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana, August 5 through 8. The big headline: they're not doing this with one club grinding for four days. They've assembled 11 clubs across Region 4 to share the workload, share the payoff, and still have time to enjoy the convention like everyone else.We dig into the attendee essentials: a vendor room on the scale you expect from IPMS Nationals (about 426 vendor tables with only a few left), plus a seminar schedule that runs from beginner to advanced. Expect practical topics like scale model photography and lighting, CAD, Silhouette and Cricut paint masks, and weathering for dioramas, along with subject-focused sessions and special interest group guidance. If you come to Nationals to learn new techniques, this lineup is designed to keep you moving from room to room. Then we get into the “why” behind their choices. John explains a deliberate push to welcome more genres, so automotive, ships, sci-fi, and Gundam builders feel just as at home as aircraft and armor modelers. That shows up in theme awards, custom decal sheets, and a raffle they treat as one of the three core pillars of the show, with plans that even let you check results online. We also talk logistics that matter: online pre-registration is open, it's $55, pre-registration closes June 30, and on-site registration jumps to $65. Finally, Fort Wayne adds a unique capstone: an awards ceremony in the restored Embassy Theatre connected by skywalk. The award-winning Spectral Silhouette Radio Show is a musical audio drama/podcast produced in the Chicagoland area by Henry Scherrer and Matt Winkelman. It combines the pulpy noir spirit of programs from the golden age of radio with modern sensibilities and style. Part comedy, part mystery, all fun, Silhouette is a labor of love from a great group of actors, musicians, and crew members. The show is performed live every two months and both nights sell out within hours, sometimes minutes. We have a full stage production with an audio engineer, sound effects engineer, fifteen actors, and a jazz band with horns. It's a one of a kind experience, mixing the feel of a jazz club with a stage show full of mystery, laughs, ghosts and more. Our show has grown a lot over the years. What started as a one off production became twenty six episodes, four minisodes and forty two original songs. We even have our own beer, Puzzle Club (a delicious ruby rye ale), from the fine people at Skeleton Key Brewery. In this episode, Christy checks in with a spring update from the Finger Lakes region of New York, where she'll be based full-time after permanently wrapping up a professional affiliation in North Carolina. She covers the famously unforgiving Tompkins County frost calendar—last freeze as late as May 30—and what that means for her raised garden bed at the Cottages, where she's planning a split experiment: half given over to creeping Charlie, half to two varieties of sunflower. She also introduces her two cats, Gimley and Silhouette. The episode closes on the sounds of the Finger Lakes in spring—bullfrogs, owls, birdsong—and a nudge to anyone considering a move to the area.

Today we're chatting with Amy Leverton, an LA-based denim trend forecaster, and the author of Denim Dudes, and founder of the Denim Dudes consultancy that has become one of the most trusted voices in the global denim industry. Amy grew up in the West Country of England — but once a year, Glastonbury Festival arrived like a city descending on her doorstep, and that collision of music, personal style, and creative energy lit something in her early on. She made her way to London College of Fashion and then Kingston University, where a project on Levi's quietly revealed what she was actually built for . After working as a denim and casualwear designer, she landed at WGSN, the world's largest trend forecasting agency, in 2007. She spent years building out their denim department, traveling to Coachella and Tokyo to photograph street style, chasing cool kids through markets and down city blocks, and connecting the cultural dots that tell brands what's coming before it arrives. She eventually went independent, and Denim Dudes — which began as a street style book published in 2015 — has since grown into a full consultancy with all the major denim clients you can think of: Levi's, Wrangler, Gap, Guess, Old Navy – you name it. Denim Dudes publishes a seasonal forecast subscription sharing where denim — and the broader culture around it — is headed next. On today's episode, we get into all of it: how vintage styles inform her forecasting, why she thinks the entire fashion industry needs to be paying attention to what's happening in the vintage market, the state of silhouette in an anything-goes era, and the vintage pieces she can't stop thinking about!  Let's dive right in! DISCUSSED IN THE EPISODE: [3:57] Amy grew up in the West Country of England — but once a year, Glastonbury Festival arrived like a city descending on her doorstep [8:38] She made her way to London College of Fashion and then Kingston University,  working as a denim and casualwear designer. A visitor from another realm encounters an overwhelming and mysterious phenomenon that bears further investigation, rain. Genre: Fairy Tale   Excerpt:"When I was young, my mother told me a story about the rain. I was afraid of it, you see. And what she told me didn't help much with that." He winked an eye at me. "My mother was quick to embrace and kiss her children, but she wasn't one to coddle or lie to us." I found myself leaning forward. "What did she say?" "There are great beings who live in the sky. When enough of these beings weep, their tears fall to the earth as rain."   The Wheel of Fiction Turns. What did it land on this time? Each Season 9 story follows a theme chosen by the Wheel of Fiction. Thirteen spokes. Eight are the themes from previous seasons. One is "Turn Again." One is a wild card. A lonely farmhouse stands in a hollow of the hills—its windows dark, its doors long locked, and a story clinging to it that no one in the valley will tell aloud. When a sceptical visitor decides to spend the night within, he discovers that silence itself can harbour memory, and that the past, once woken, does not easily return to sleep. Phantom Silhouette is a tale of curiosity meeting what endures when reason has gone. First published in The Ghosts and Scholars Book of Shadows, edited by Rosemary Pardoe (Souvenir Press, London, 1971). Reprinted in later anthologies of twentieth-century supernatural fiction. Joy Burnett was an Australian-born actress who worked in theatre, film, and television after moving to England. In her spare time she wrote short stories, several of which appeared in British and American magazines; Phantom Silhouette was her first venture into the ghost-story tradition.
