In this episode, I discuss the ideology surrounding different groups and their perceptions of various topics within the United States of America. As always, these are my opinions, so you are free to disagree with me. However, I urge you to prove me wrong before telling me you're right (which may be difficult considering opinions are not factual, so they are not based in reality) but that is totally up to you as the individual to decide.
It's been a long time but I'm back and in video format.
Jordan Neely was killed by Daniel Penny preemptively because Penny believed he posed a credible threat to himself and those around him. If Penny is applauded for his "bravery" why isn't Luigi Mangione, the man being charged with the murder of the United Healthcare CEO, Brian Thompson? Thompson and the other United States health insurance companies have denied their own paying customers care simply to maximize profits and by doing so, caused countless deaths. We as a society need to take back EVERYTHING that these companies have stolen and we need to do it starting NOW!
The killing of Jordan Neely was both unnecessary and criminal and the killer, Daniel Penny, should not have been set free. All of the circumstances around the incident, if shown correctly and without prejudice or superfluous information, should have landed Penny in prison. Instead, he was given a photo op with the President-Elect and regarded as a "hero".
When will it end? Never, unless we, as the working class decide to stand up and end it. Growing up, teachers and authority figures have always spouted off that same old line, "violence is NEVER the answer", but history has proven that false, time and time again. Every act that has led to LASTING change involved violence of some kind. the Tulsa Massacre WWI/WWII 9/11 March of Tears Revolutionary/Civil Wars The list goes on and on. The bourgeoisie have shown the proletariat time and time again that they have no desire to help us, so we need to help ourselves, but one question needs to be answered. What are you willing to lose in order for you to be free? I'm willing to risk it all because I have nothing else to lose.
News outlets in the United States don't tell us what to think, but they do tell us what to think about. This can be dangerous as we navigate our own world, blocking out things that make us uncomfortable. That comfort bubble we put ourselves in can be delightful, but it can lead us to the wrong conclusions on very serious topics/opinions. Do yourselves a favor and burst your own bubble. Make yourselves uncomfortable by listening to the opinions you don't agree with, not to change your mind, but to understand the other person's position. This world is on fire, folks. We don't have the luxury of putting our heads in the sand and ignoring that reality, simply because you don't agree.
After finding out Thanksgiving was nothing more than a myth, I really didn't feel the need or want to celebrate it anymore. As a child, it felt like a dream. As a teen, it felt like a chore. Now, as an orphan with weak familial ties, it is very much inconsequential. However, I do believe that all the people in our lives that mean so much to us need to be acknowledged for how much they mean to us and deserve a day to be celebrated. Enter Friendsgiving. The best friends holiday!
Sometimes the worst things in our lives can be the depression, cl oud that consumes our happiness. We cannot allow ourselves to be the catalyst for hate simply because we are unhappy with who we are as individuals. We must learn that sometimes things need to be changed in order for real change to occur. Will you be strong enough to change the things within yourself that make you want to hurt other people?
Did you know that the calendar reads 12.31.23. How often does that happen?
Y'all, what Colorado is doing to former President Trump is both petty and irresponsible. These types of moves are going to have very far reaching consequences that I personally don't believe have been seriously considered. These state and federal government entities are playing a very stupid game in our faces and in the end, who ends up losing? Regular folks like you and me. What has happened to us?
Hear me talk about my day. If you enjoyed the background music, it's the instrumental version of Lana Del Rey's 'Salvatore' from her amazing 'Honeymoon' album. One of my favorite songs from her and definitely my favorite song on the album.
The gay community still has a lot to learn regarding the stigma around HIV. Most of us are not whores, but broken people who made terrible decisions at dark moments in their lives. We shouldn't be punished for that. Living with HIV is punishment enough.
I know I'm late to the party, but I am eternally grateful for the people in my life that mean the most to me.
In the United States, if you don't have health insurance, you could be in for a world of hurt. Add to the fact that most companies don't want to pay you a livable wage and you're going to be in some deep trouble.
When it comes to the west (America) we put out that we are more self-aware and capable than we really are. Our government is supposed to look out for us but they're more concerned with growing their legacy than looking out for the people who put them into power.
Music is like a language we as humans can all speak together that can open doors and bring us together. Whether it's to dance or cry, music can do wonders for the heart and mind. Songs to check out Turbulence by P!NK Saturday nights by Khalid Talk of the town by Elle King Power of the Dream by Celine Dion Superstar by Luther Vandross Count on Me by Whitney Houston All great songs for very different moods. What have you listened to lately? What could you recommend me?
Sometimes, the hero you're looking for is staring at you from the mirror.
The only person in life you should EVER compete with is yourself. Competition can be a good thing in some cases, but in many instances, it can cause a plethora of self doubt and emotionally harmful thoughts. Keep everyone else out of your line of sight and keep on keeping on. The prize will come to you in time.
I am taking my late mother's advice and living life so true to fashion I decided to go to my first concert EVER and I saw none other than Queen Bee herself. I was super thrilled to have experienced this one time show but even more thrilled that Ticketmaster decided to offer me a discount ticket to see P!NK three days later for only $50! Of course I took the opportunity and had a much better time than I expected, but I don't know why I was so surprised, because P!NK is notorious for putting on a great show. I don't want to say too much here, so tune in to the episode to get the full blow by blow. Instagram: @s.k.turner77
Sometimes, knowing something means nothing when the other guy knows nothing but knows somebody.
In a world full of social media dating apps, finding the right person can be incredibly difficult, if not impossible. Are you willing to sacrifice a list of wants from a stranger who doesn't exist, for a person who could make you happy or will you pass up someone of substance for small talk?
In the United States and presumably in other parts of the world, representation in media has started to become a hot button topic. Many people believe that we as a society should have equal representation, but to add more, means to take away from some... Or does it? That's what this episode is all about.
The gym used to be a place to work out and push yourself to become healthier. Now, it's becoming a place to hang out, make fun of strangers, peacock and get in the way and be obnoxious. When did this change happen and why does it persist?
Tiktok is controlled by a country known to have an aggressive history with the United States of America. This app could fundamentally aid the Chinese government with espionage within the USA without actually having to come here. If there's any credibility to the accusations that tiktok is using personal data from American citizens with malicious intent, then a ban is necessary. After all, many domestic social media platforms are banned there. Looking at you Facebook and Instagram.
On January, 19, 2023, my mother passed. She lived a very unhappy life that I got to witness first hand. Ever since I was little, I was always her cheerleader except for the end, when she needed me most. I do feel a sense of guilt about it, but I can't dwell on it now.
Listen to me speak about the men in my life who have had the greatest impact on me psychology.
This is my autobiography of sorts showcasing how I became the person I am today. Starting this off is my family and who they are and how they've impacted me.

This nightmare of mine actually happened to me tonight and I'm am not too happy about it. I've never been afraid of scary movies, but I'm home alone having dreams like this and it is not ok!
I Don't honestly understand why so many people are hell-bent on policing, other people's morality! What I choose to let my children be exposed to is none of your business, especially when it comes to books that you have never read and that your kids will never read! Why are so many people concerned about this book that's in the media called 'This Book is Gay'?! I don't understand. If you don't want your child to be exposed to stuff like this, then home school them, because I can assure you, as a former teacher, this is nothing compared to what their peers expose them too. This whole witch hunt seems to be about forcing one's beliefs onto other people, and that is something I cannot abide by. If you have a problem with this kind of "lgbt stuff" in your school, then you should be just as mad about books like 'the lovely bones' or stories like 'Romeo and Juliet' or 'Oedipus'. All this outrage over a book you don't want to understand is very telling and it's incredibly sad. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
There are four versions of the "N" word. Two that are acceptable. Two, that are not! In this episode I will be using all four of them to educate people on their differences. During the pandemic, dogs and other animals were used to cope with loneliness and isolation. Once the pandemic ended, these animals were thrown into shelters, at least by American shelter reports, and largely forgotten. If you do not have the time, resources or heart to take care of another living creature, then please, do NOT go out and buy one. These animals have feelings, just like you or I and they deserve to be loved and protected just the same. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Biden has declared student loan debt forgiveness and the United States of America has gone nuts. So many people have so much to say, yet no one is going after the institutions who created the problem in the first place. Narcissist/narcissism have become a natural part of our American society and they tend to ruin EVERYTHING! If you ever encounter one, tread lightly because they have a tendency to hold every slight against them to heart. What's a "Pick Me" person? Someone who goes out of their way to please others by altering their own personalities and acting completely oblivious to the fact that they're doing it, even though they are fully aware that they are. Every year, you have June come around signifying PRIDE for the LGBTQA+ community and every year I care less and less. Why? Because I know too much about the predatory tactics of the corporate world looking to capitalize on marginalized groups just to earn some money. I also don't enjoy being on the outskirts of the LGBT group because of my racial status. Many people of color feel excluded during Pride month because we are often never included. We can only grow as a community if we want to and so many seem to enjoy things as they are. We're being distracted by the media again with the trial of Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard, but this type of distraction is rather interesting. Men are expected to adhere to specific roles here in America regardless of how regressive and harmful those roles may be or what kind of toll it takes on the human psyche. I don't believe Johnny is completely innocent, but he's far and away the monster Amber made him out to be. Domestic abuse comes in several different forms, folks. Sometimes, the victim is the stronger one, physically, but that means very little nowadays. We need to understand who victims are and how to help them, because I believe all of this could be avoided if we taught ourselves to think outside of the man = abuser box.
