Kyle Rittenhouse verdict - Opinions from the heart and from a legal perspective. We first witnessed a travesty of justice with verdict of Kyle Rittenhouse and then a deranged lunatic plunged his vehicle into a parade of people celebrating the holiday season, killing 8 and injuring at least 40. "a jury in Kenosha came to the verdict that was shamelessly and grotesquely pushed for by an old angry trump loving judge: Total exoneration for murdering white activists who showed up to support public protests against a generational murder spree committed against our black friends and neighbors by law enforcement." Stephen Dare "The family of Anthony Huber — one of the men shot and killed last year by Kyle Rittenhouse — said they were "heartbroken and angry" in a statement released shortly after Rittenhouse was acquitted Friday on all charges against him." The Hill "Today's verdict means there is no accountability for the person who murdered our son, It sends the unacceptable message that armed civilians can show up in any town, incite violence, and then use the danger they have created to justify shooting people in the street. We hope that decent people will join us in forcefully rejecting that message and demanding more of our laws, our officials, and our justice system." John Huber and Karen Bloom "Legally, if you are in the process of a commission of a crime, it negates your ability to claim self defense if you kill someone. As in, it can't even be entered as your official defense in court. It is similar to getting rear-ended at a red light through zero fault of your own, but you were driving without a license or insurance. It automatically makes you at fault because you weren't even legally allowed to be driving. That 17 year old in Kenosha had committed two crimes and was not even legally allowed to open carry the rifle he used to shoot three people. This means that he legally cannot claim self defense." Alex and Angela share what they thought they knew about Kyle Rittenhouse and what they learned as a result of watching his trial. If you have just heard about this situation through mainstream news outlets, you will most likely be surprised to find out that the facts of the case are much different than what you'd been led to believe.
Prepare to be provoked: the jury got it right. In this episode, I weigh in on the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict. I also point out that some people pretending to be outraged by the decision aren't really outraged at all; that some who actually are outraged should have paid closer attention to the details of the trial, or paid attention at all; and that many wanted Kyle to be the sacrificial lamb slaughtered for the price of their own wounds, making race an issue in a case that wasn't about race.

Our thoughts on the Rittenhouse Verdict, how the left got it wrong and why we agree that our criminal justice system is seriously flawed.
On Friday, Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all charges related to his shooting of three people during riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin last year. The jury deliberated for three and a half days and found Rittenhouse not guilty on all five counts, including charges of reckless homicide in the death of Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and intentional homicide in the death of Anthony Huber, 26. As the not guilty verdicts were read, Rittenhouse collapsed into the arms of his lawyer. Experts largely expected the outcome after the judge in the case, Bruce Schroeder, granted a defense motion to drop a gun possession charge against Rittenhouse, which was viewed as the most likely charge to stick.
