I heard Aaron Grando drop the term "pretotypes" on Leader Generation this morning and had to hit pause. Three minutes in, I realized I'd been vibe coding for months without knowing there was a name for it. But pretotypes? That's when I knew I had to get him on the show immediately. We're talking about taking your stream-of-consciousness ideas and building working drafts before you've even figured out what you want. For business owners doing $0.5 to 10 million a year, this isn't just another tech trend—it's the shift that stops you from waiting weeks for simple prototypes. Aaron's VP of Creative Innovation at Mod Op, and in this spontaneous follow-up to his Leader Generation episode, we dig into what vibe coding actually means for your bottom line and why small teams are suddenly punching way above their weight class. Action items to consider that tie to this episode: Immediate (This Week) Identify your development bottlenecks - Where are you currently waiting on programmers or outsourced developers? Try a simple test - Pick one small coding need and experiment with ChatGPT or Claude Map your current process - Document how long it takes to go from idea to working prototype Set prompt boundaries - Practice asking AI for logical, non-emotional responses Short-term (Next 30 Days) Assess team capabilities - Identify who on your team has enough coding background to effectively prompt AI tools Start with pretotypes - Use AI to visualize one business idea before investing in full development Test platform limitations - Use AI to check if your ideas are feasible within your current tech stack Calculate current costs - Figure out what you're spending on development delays and outsourcing Medium-term (Next 90 Days) Build AI into your process - Make vibe coding part of your standard ideation workflow Train your team - Get key team members comfortable with AI coding tools Measure time savings - Track how much faster you can go from idea to testable concept Expand use cases - Beyond coding, use AI for project planning, gap analysis, and cross-industry perspectives Strategic (Next 6-12 Months) Evaluate in-house vs. outsourcing - Determine if AI tools change your staffing strategy Invest in the right tools - Move beyond free ChatGPT to specialized coding tools if volume justifies it Create AI-enabled processes - Build systems that let AI agents handle routine business tasks Develop competitive advantage - Use speed-to-market improvements to outmaneuver slower competitors Key Questions to Ask Yourself Before listening: How long does it currently take us to go from business idea to working prototype? What development tasks are we avoiding because they seem too time-intensive? After listening: What's the first idea I've been putting off that I could pretotype this week? Who on my team could become our "conductor" for AI-assisted development? What would it mean for our business if we could cut development time by 75%? Resources Mentioned Tools: ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor (coding-specific AI) Concept: Pretotypes (pre-prototype visualization) Original episode: Leader Generation Podcast - "Vibe Coding" episode with Aaron Grando Here is the episode on Leader Generation. We dive into the Unclaimed Baggage 2025 report, a fascinating and kinda unhinged roundup of the bizarre (yet nunu nana) items people leave behind in lost luggage. Zach covers the story of a man who tracked down his own stolen truck and is now changing careers to become a private detective. Plus, we discuss David Archuleta being a PG-13 hottie, and Beyoncé's stunning music. You know you're homework, go listen with lyrics pulled up... why are you still reading this? Tune in to understand how these fastbreak deals will set the tone for the future of the HALO sector. Go HALO! A few key takeaways: 1. Upcoming Private Equity Transactions: There are five significant companies in the sector that are set to be sold from one private equity firm to another. These transactions will be instrumental in setting the tone of the industry for the next five years. 2. Crunch Fitness Sale: The sale of Crunch, currently owned by TPG Group, is one such anticipated deal. It's predicted that the sale will aim for a multiple just under the 20 times EBITDA that Planet Fitness enjoys. 3. Debt Considerations: Another key point is how much debt will be used in these acquisitions. The amount of debt can impact the risk level of the business, especially if another unforeseen black swan event like COVID reoccurs. 4. Growth and Expansion: Two fast-growing chains in the Sunbelt region and substantial Northeast and Southeast franchises are also in play, showing a strong trend toward growth and expansion in the sector. 5. Public Company Benchmarks: Public companies like Planet Fitness trading at 20 times EBITDA provide a benchmark for private deals, influencing how these private equity transactions are structured and valued. Dr. Traci Sweet, Co-Founder and COO of Holon Health has developed an approach to treating substance use disorder that emphasizes integrating physical and behavioral health with an awareness of the impact of social determinants of health. Focusing on serving a marginalized criminal justice population that has struggled to navigate the healthcare system, Holon Health is making treatments accessible with 24/7 digital support and human-to-human interactions. Features of the Vibe app include daily affirmations, lessons, and contingency management. The key is looking forward, not revisiting the past. Traci explains, "We developed Holon Health because so many people struggle with navigating the system, particularly in terms of integrated complete treatment, for so many years now. And I've been a doctor in the field for 31 years. For so many years, we've had such a spidered system where we look at the physical health of a patient, and we look at their behavioral health and SUD needs, and we never come together to look at that in a whole body space. So Holon focuses on fully integrating care between physical health needs, substance use disorder, behavioral health, and the additional social determinants of health. So housing, employment, education. We throw everything we can at the clients. On top of that, the addition of our digital app called Holon Vibe really makes treatment accessible 365 days a year, 24/7." "We serve predominantly folks at the intersection of criminal justice and healthcare. My co-founder is formerly very enmeshed in working with the criminal justice population from his former company. I also have some Department of Corrections in my background as well. This patient has been marginalized in many ways and has found just getting through the system without judgment, without stigma, without having to focus on their shame. Their trauma has found it very difficult to navigate. So we're focused on changing that experience, moving this patient in the direction of preventative care, rewarding pro-social behaviors, and offering support that is kind of like Planet Fitness, just judgment-free. And it's been an amazing experience so far." #HolonHealth #CriminalJusticePopulation #HolisticHealthcare #SDOH #SubstanceUseDisorder holonhealth.com Download the transcript here

The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (03/31/2025): 3:05pm- The far-left continues to vandalize Tesla electric vehicles out of disdain for CEO Elon Musk and his close affiliation with the Trump Administration. In Bucks County, Pennsylvania a man's Tesla had a swastika carved into it while the vehicle sat in a Planet Fitness parking lot. Meanwhile, in Flagstaff, Arizona, a 61-year-old Tesla driver was cut off and ultimately assaulted by a motorist. 3:15pm- While speaking in Wisconsin, Elon Musk called out the “violence and hatred that is coming from the left”—exclaiming that progressive Democrats have “gone psycho.” 3:30pm- The left continually claims that the U.S. is heading towards a second Civil War—but don't believe them. Rich notes the country may be divided philosophically, but the vast majority of Americans aren't as angry as corporate media is making it seem. While the Civil War divided the country by geography, what would the line of delineation even be in modern America? 3:45pm- A man in Texas has been charged with ramming his ATV into a Tesla Cybertruck causing thousands of dollars in damage. Rich plays the video and can't help but notice the man is quite rotund…Matt reveals that the gentleman is 5'2” and weighs 449 pounds, according to reports! Is it any surprise that the incident took place outside of a buffet? 4:05pm- Former University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas vowed to fight for trans athletes and challenge the Trump Administration's policies preventing biological males from competing in women's sports. Thomas, a biological male, made headlines after winning NCAA races in 2022 while competing in the women's category. 4:15pm- While speaking with New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, Bill Maher said he fears that despite recent election losses, the Democrat Party has not closed the door on “woke” politics. 4:30pm- Bill D'Agostino—Senior Research Analyst at Media Research Center—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to break down some of the best (and worst) clips from the Sunday shows. Plus, D'Agostino recaps NPR and PBS executives testifying before a DOGE House subcommittee on whether the federal government should continue to fund the two organizations. 5:00pm- While speaking with Meet the Press host Kristen Welker, President Donald Trump was asked if he will run for a third term—Trump did not explicitly dismiss the possibility which has led corporate media to scream “dictator!” During the same conversation, Trump revealed that he is “pissed off” with Russian President Vladimir Putin over his seeming unwillingness to negotiate a peace agreement with Ukraine. Trump vowed to place onerous sanctions on Russian oil if progress isn't being made soon. 5:20pm- White Lotus Season 3 aired its second to last episode last night…is it time to declare this season is a bust? Matt says he's holding out hope it'll have a great finale. But why is anyone taking television advice from him? Plus, Americans are staying away from movie theaters—is it because of increased competition from streaming platforms or is Hollywood simply creating a subpar product? 5:40pm- According to the transcript of Donald Trump's phone conversation with NBC News, the president said of foreign auto manufacturers having to raise their prices as a result of his tariffs: “I couldn't care less.” He explained: “I hope they raise their prices, because if they do, people are gonna buy American-made cars. We have plenty.” 6:00pm- From the Oval Office, President Donald Trump signed an executive order preventing “exploitive ticket scalping” as Kid Rock stood next to him. While answering questions from the press, Trump said has been allowing White House staff to use the Tesla he bought earlier this month. He was also asked about a potential third term—and whether he could win a hypothetical election against Barack Obama. Trump said he would love to run against Obama but seemed to dismiss the idea of challenging the 22nd Amendment. He also revealed that he ...

How I Ended Up Owning a War Zone PropertyThis was one of my first multifamily investments. I was looking for a C-class property (working-class area) with value-add potential—a place I could renovate and improve. The property was in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in an area once called “The War Zone”—a huge red flag I ignored because:✅ A new Starbucks and Planet Fitness had been built nearby.✅ A neighboring apartment building had been renovated and was getting higher rents.✅ It was across from a major hospital, suggesting potential tenants. On paper, it looked like an up-and-coming area. In reality, I had stepped into a nightmare.

I kicked things off with my “New Year, new me” update, where I proudly announced that I've stopped biting my nails and, believe it or not, even managed to cut back on my daytime smoking. Yes, it's a small victory, but when you're trying to be wedding-ready, every little bit counts. My gym escapades at Planet Fitness provided plenty of comic relief. Picture this: me, barely a minute in, setting off the infamous lunk alarm, and having to explain to a very confused staff member that it's just my natural charm wreaking havoc on the quiet gym ambiance. Over time, I learned that five minutes on the StairMaster is the unofficial test of being a “bad bitch.” Trust me, if you can handle those stairs, you've already earned a spot in my inner circle. But the absurdity doesn't stop there. I laid out my wild plan to have Joe Exotic, yes, the Tiger King himself, officiate my wedding. I even joked about needing a presidential pardon—courtesy of Donald Trump—to get Joe out of prison in time. It's a ridiculous notion, but then again, so is my life, and I wouldn't have it any other way.Nostalgia hit hard in this episode, as I reminisced about my childhood filled with Nickelodeon gems like “Hey Arnold” and “Angry Beavers,” alongside the life lessons of “Boy Meets World.” It's funny how those shows, once the center of my universe, now serve as bittersweet reminders of a simpler time, even as I navigate the complexities of adult life and reunions that are more awkward than heartwarming.Of course, no episode would be complete without a jab at modern technology and social media. I ranted about the ongoing drama on Facebook—yes, that relic—and urged everyone to ditch it for something more authentic. Meanwhile, I defended my love for Tesla's cutting-edge tech, not because I'm a fan of Elon Musk, but because I truly appreciate innovation when I see it.And then there was Pokémon Day. While the hype for downloadable collections and new game announcements fizzled out (once again), I managed to snag a holographic Articuno in a Twitter giveaway—another reminder that in this digital age, even our hobbies come with a side of irony. In a nutshell, episode 179 is a snapshot of my life: part self-improvement saga, part pop culture rant, and entirely unapologetic about the absurdity that is my world. What are we doing? Apparently, we're laughing in the face of chaos—and that's just how I like it.*************************************************************✅BLUECHEW - FIRST ORDER FREE Only $5 Shippinghttps://wawdpod.com/blue*************************************************************
