If you're a believer in Christ, we want to remind you that your citizenship is not of this world. You are not a permanent resident of this world! There is a Kingdom coming and we are its citizens! Yet many don't live like kingdom citizens. There are some who don't know how to live as kingdom citizen. These next few episodes we will be breaking a down the sermon on the mount taught by Jesus in Matthew Chapter 5,6,7 into different series, starting in Matthew chapter 5:1 – 16. Jesus gives us a description of the characteristics of kingdom citizens. Matthew 5:3 is our starting place: “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” What do you think this verse means? How can you live this characteristic in your life?
