Listeners of Dead Show of the Month that love the show mention: show selection,The Dead Show of the Month podcast is a fantastic podcast for all Grateful Dead fans out there. Hosted by Dave, this podcast takes listeners on a journey through various Grateful Dead shows, offering a complete show every month. It's like stepping into a time machine and experiencing the magic of the Dead firsthand.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the show selection. Dave and his team do an excellent job in picking out shows that showcase the unique sound and energy of the Grateful Dead. They provide insights into the shows and their experiences attending them, which adds another layer of depth to each episode. The recordings are usually of great quality, allowing listeners to really immerse themselves in the music.
Additionally, I really appreciate the halftime acts that they incorporate into each episode. They feature other artists like JGB, Bob Dylan, Santana, and more during intermissions, introducing listeners to even more incredible music.
However, one downside to this podcast is that there are currently only 20 episodes available out of 159. It would be great to have more episodes accessible for fans to enjoy. Hopefully, they will continue to release new episodes regularly.
In conclusion, The Dead Show of the Month podcast is a must-listen for any Grateful Dead enthusiast. Dave and his team have created a podcast that not only celebrates the music but also offers unique insights and experiences from their own interactions with the band. Despite the limited number of episodes available at this time, it's still worth tuning in for some pure Dead magic.
