An in-depth look at horror and sci-fi TV from two cousins who vaguely know what they're doing
MK and Courtney are all in on Atlantis, and MK is mostly all in on John Shepperd.
It's time to say goodbye to our favorite psychopathic cannibal and the many, many versions of him we've gotten to watch. What a joy this Hannibal journey has been!
MK and Courtney are back from a summer off, and they mostly remember how to podcast. Lucky for you all, we've got quite the RDA journey to help us through.
We've made it to the last film in the Hannibal cannon. As T.S. Eliot said, the world is ending not with a bang, but a whimper.
If you watched last week's Stargate episode, you'll probably recognize the plot of this episode! However, there's something about Rodney's style that just makes it better.
MK's week has been about as awful as this entire show, so at least we have this gem of an episode to remind us all why we do what we do.
Due to some personal things, this episode was delayed. We apologize for anyone waiting for the episode. Enjoy our take on an interesting episode of Stargate.
Welcome to the last frontier. Finally. Clarice has come to an almost satisfying ending, and we are quite glad for it to end.
Sorry for the late video! We had some technical difficulties with getting the video up yesterday! But we're here for part 2 of the Atlantis premiere!
Sorry folks, but there's still nothing good to say about Clarice! Except that the end is near!
Welcome to show and tell! I mean, DNA! We're so excited to start this journey of Atlantis, MK's favorite show of, potentially, all time.
Football, Family, Food, and I guess Clarice. It's a fun one today folks.
The weather is insane, the world is falling apart, but at the end of the day, we'll always have Stargate! Next week we start Atlantis!
We've entered the downward spiral of how we feel about this show. Everything is frustrating and we're so sorry if you're still watching it with us.
A new era of Stargate has begun. MK and Courtney are counting down to the exciting things that are happening this summer, and we also throw in some spoilers for other shows in here, because it's what we do.
Surprise, surprise. MK and Courtney are really, really not feeling it with this show. Who'd have guessed.
Welcome to the DNA awards Fam!! We tried to split Stargate up into reasonable chunks, and yet, this was still somehow the most overwhelming thing we've ever had to do.
Clarice broke us. Everything we had high hopes for is gone, and we have not much to say in ways of things going well. At least we'll always have books!
We wrap up the season that ends the pre-crossover era, AKA the George Hammond Era. Join us as we discuss the things we've seen and the things to come. Courtney has some pretty spot on predictions, and some that are so far off, iykyk.
MK is cold, Courtney is sick. At least we have this show to get us through!
Happy Father's Day to those who celebrate, and most importantly to our Daddies: Jack O'Neill and General Hammond.
Matt Damon, creepy old men, and of course books. The things you really come to the podcast for. Or is it Clarice? If it is, blink twice?
As we head into the finale of Season 7, we chat books, internet scams, and why we just love these Stargate characters so damn much.
MK is going into debt because of her honeymoon, and we're going into emotional debt the longer we watch this show.
Welcome to DNA, where we talk babies, movies, and why a clip show can actually rock our socks.
Sorry for the late episode folks, it's been a hell of a week. As it usually is. Here we talk about Cher, working with children (and adults that are really just bigger children), and the world of Clarice.
Happy Memorial Day Weekend DNA fam. Courtney and MK review a weird one off episode of Stargate and of course try to survive just being alive.
So far, MK and Courtney really are trying to enjoy Clarice, but it just seems too formulaic. Nothing is really shocking, including why it didn't last too long.
This is a really tough one to talk about friends. One of the best episodes of the entire show, but it will rip your soul to pieces.
On this episode of DNA, Courtney and MK give you a life lesson on how to have a job and be an adult. We also talk timelines, cults, and casting in the world of Clarice.
Happy Mother's Day friends! Enjoy the holiday with a fun little romp of an episode of Stargate (iykyk).
Well, we're onto a new show! But not to fear, we're still living in our Hannibal Lector era, kind of. Shows change, but our disdain for being alive hasn't.
This is the beginning of the rapid run to the end of Season 7 of Stargate. We deal with a lot of real life conversations about handling problems, and who the actual good guys are in this world of gray.
Sorry for the Double Dose of DNA today. MK is having a time keeping up with life, but we're still doing the damn thing. And what a thing it is to watch a movie that changed so much.
MK and Courtney had a little bit of an adventure recording this one, but luckily we worked it all out! And we got the treat that is Stalker Pete, and the beginning of the end of what is a wild, wild season.
It's a long one today folks, as MK and Courtney talk about the journey we've gone on with Hannibal, and say goodbye to this chapter of the Hannibal Lector Saga.
Happy Easter all! Jonas Quinn is back, and Courtney has let the bad press get to her. At least there's some of the sassiest Jack yet to get us through.
MK is on spring break which means days aren't real. She also hated this episode, so she's clearly thrilled to post it. Courtney however is all about the Hannibal love.
Hallucinations, Pretty Little Liars, and a very aggressive and personal attack on our emotional well being. Must be a casual episode of Stargate SG-1.
Well, I'm late in posting, but that checks out if you watch how close to falling apart we are in this video. We talk therapy, migraines, and why this show really is doing something we don't quite know how to handle.
Why would anyone want to live forever? Why do we trust Daniel to do anything without military backup? Why is Enrico Colantoni the greatest man in the world? And why can't MK and Courtney have a week that isn't completely unhinged?
I'm pretty confident either this season is really not as good as we hoped it would be, or we're both suffering the exact same short term memory loss.
Happy April Fool's Day! MK wanted to celebrate the holiday by getting this episode out really late. That and she was distracted by snacks and tequila.
Welcome to a podcast about Broadway, I mean, Hannibal. Hey, we tried, okay? This season of Hannibal is still proving difficult to slog through, but it's bearable. At least we can all think of one serial killer we love.
Apologies for the gap in episodes Fam!! 2025 is a year of change and figuring things out for MK and Courtney. Don't worry though, the episode was DEFINITELY worth the wait.
Well folks, Hannibal is finally here! This episode finally feels like the show they fell in love with. MK and Courtney talk vacations, life falling apart, and the fundamental differences between cat and dog people.
When you set your expectations on the floor, it's hard to be disappointing. We're definitely in a rougher patch of Stargate episodes, but MK and Courtney find ways to make it entertaining!
MK and Courtney cling on to the little hope they still have of this season being any good. Season 3 of Hannibal is crashing and Duo the Owl is dead, so our mental health is clearly sky high.
Sorry for the late update DNA fam, MK was out of town over the weekend, but we're glad to be here with Aliens and Football, as we discuss Stargate and the Superbowl aftermath.
Welcome to our Marvel, I mean, Hannibal podcast. MK and Courtney have a lot of fun with spreadsheets and optimism.
Courtney talks Super Bowl, which MK is actively boycotting. MK talks about the incompetence of the entire world, and somehow Stargate turns into Marvel. Again. We have a problem.
