Skeletons and spectres and scones--oh my! Welcome to Dread & Breakfast, where we bumble our way through horror RPG’s, creating new stories one failure at a time. And be sure to stay for breakfast. How do you like your eggs in the morning? *WINK*
The Dread and Breakfast podcast is an absolute delight to listen to. From start to finish, this group of friends brings an incredible amount of chemistry and storytelling skills that keep me coming back for more. The sound design is top-notch, immersing me in the spooky atmosphere while adding an extra layer of suspense to the already captivating plotline. And let's not forget about Jacob - his wit and humor always leave me laughing and wanting more. I cannot recommend this show enough.
One of the best aspects of The Dread and Breakfast podcast is the fantastic chemistry between the entire group. It's evident that they have a genuine friendship, and it shines through in their interactions. This camaraderie makes the storytelling even more enjoyable as they bounce off each other effortlessly, creating a truly engaging experience for listeners. Additionally, their ability to switch between fun banter and spine-tingling suspense is seamless, keeping me on my toes throughout each episode.
Another highlight of the podcast is the attention to detail in character voices, sound effects, and music. Each voice actor brings their A-game, giving life to their respective characters and making them memorable in their own right. The sound effects are expertly used to create atmosphere and enhance the listener's immersion into the story world. Combined with well-curated music choices, every episode becomes a multi-sensory experience that leaves a lasting impact.
If there were any downsides to The Dread and Breakfast podcast, it would be difficult to identify them. However, if I had to nitpick, I would say that occasionally certain jokes or references may not land for everyone. Humor can be subjective, so there might be moments where some listeners don't find certain comedic elements as amusing as others do. However, this is a minor issue that certainly does not detract from the overall quality of the show.
In conclusion, The Dread and Breakfast podcast is an absolute gem in the world of audio storytelling. The group's chemistry, captivating narratives, and impeccable sound design make for an incredibly enjoyable and immersive experience. Whether you're a fan of horror or simply enjoy witty banter among friends, this podcast is a must-listen. I cannot wait to see where they take the show next and eagerly anticipate each new episode. Keep up the amazing work!

"The new millennium is the long-anticipated event around which some sects and cults build end-of-the-world so-called prophecies. Others may use this time as an opportunity to attempt to induce panic and terror. The media has charged still others with attempting to stir panic for personal gain in order to sell books or survival supplies. Regardless of the motivation of others, these events will likely directly impact the lives and jobs of emergency workers. With effects estimates ranging from “a blip on the screen” to “catastrophic meltdown and the end of our society as we know it,” it is difficult to know how much preparation for Y2K is appropriate. What preparation is prudent, and when does preparation cross the line into paranoia?" Y2K Service Continuity Plan For Emergency Services Departments By Randy Templeton. 1999
