There was, in my view some significant misdirection contained in the Reserve Bank's recently released Financial Stability Review, released on Thursday, which they say provides a comprehensive assessment of the health and resilience of Australia's financial system. All up they say that Australia's financial system remains well positioned to navigate a period of elevated global uncertainty, … Continue reading "Everything Is Fine Folks; Just Look Over Here! At times like these, there are SO. MANY. REASONS. you may need an Everything is Fine episode. So, here it is! We barely touch on politics and instead try to make each other laugh all episode with a dorky rap, trivia, a movie review, a new game inspired by our Catholic hospitals episode and a VERY SPECIAL GUEST. Got a pap smear? A DMV appointment? Stuck in traffic? In a conversation you want to low-key ignore? This episode is for you! Pop in those earbuds, use a maxipad as an eye mask to shut-out the oh-so-scary world and play with your fave blosts.
The podcast is off the IL and it couldn't have picked a better time in the Mariners season to come back. Everything is going great. Another solid episode this week as we recover from last week's drama.
Even without Jayson Tatum, the Celtics are the champs and still really talented. They certainly have the right to win one game at home. It's fine. Jason explains why the Dallas Cowboys should be on in Primetime every week. And LUKE KORNET did it all to keep the Celtics season alive!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Matthew Tynan, Trevor Zickgraf and Bruno Passos discuss everything from conspiracy theories, to draft prospects, to what the Spurs' approach should be during this draft cycle. The main focus was on Dylan Harper, and whether San Antonio just needs to draft him and call it a day. But there's a bigger conversation to be had about fit, long-term identity, and the idea it's almost time for the Spurs to start streamlining their roster construction.

Welcome to Episode 98 of The Last Standee Podcast! This is one where we have to apologize in advance for making you listen to Alessio for a feature-length episode. No, the team is still there. It's just that it's a mess sometimes to put together speakers geographically distant, and when illnesses and shaky world situation interfere, that's a recipe for missed episodes. We pull through the best we can, though, thank you. ...It was way more informative than what I meant initially, but it's fine. THIS IS FINE. EVERYTHING IS FINE. Anyway, Alessio takes the chance of being alone in the recording to talk about niche and upcoming project, such as Eternal Decks (take it!) in the Standee Catch-up, then talks about a Canadian (nonetheless!) project of three innovative games set up in the Twisted Realms. After this, it's time to do the laundry with the review of two Unmatched sets for the new course: Sun's Origin (for two players) and Slings and Arrows (for four players) - public domain heroes, the best ones! Finally, as it's compulsory for solo episodes, it's time for the big, genre-defining solo game of the episode: this time, we talk about Legacy of Yu. Uhhh, next one is episode 99! Can't wait for it! It will be legen

On this week's show, we spin a bumper crop of new music, bid adieu to some folks we're going to miss the crap out of, and try to muster up the courage to face the next four years with strength, grace and dignity. All this & much, much less. Debts No Honest Man Can Pay is over 2 rock-solid hours of musical eclectica & other noodle stories. The show started in 2003 at WHFR-FM (Dearborn, MI), moved to WGWG-FM (Boiling Springs, NC) in 2006 & Plaza Midwood Community Radio (Charlotte, NC) in 2012, with a brief pit-stop at WLFM-FM (Appleton, WI) in 2004.

Send us a textToday we're talking feelings, you know, those things we try so hard to ignore, shove down, or pretend don't exist? “I'm fine… EVERYTHING IS FINE!!!” Sound familiar? This week, I'm diving into emotional regulation—not just to deal with stress, anxiety, or overwhelm, but to actually allow ourselves to feel the feelings. Because ignoring them doesn't make them go away. It just leaves us stuck, disconnected, and sometimes even overwhelmed by things we don't fully understand. Here's what we'll cover:Why dissociation is a survival tool—and why it can't be a long-term strategy. The power of naming your emotions (Dr. Peter Levine calls it “Name It to Tame It”).How having a bigger emotional vocabulary helps you understand yourself and communicate better.Recognizing the sensations in your body—what they're telling you and how to respond. Why it's okay to feel scared, hurt, or even joy that feels too big to hold.I'll share my own journey of learning to stop running from emotions and start making space for them, even when they're messy, uncomfortable, or downright scary. Because feelings are just information.
