Una stanchezza che il sonno non riesce a cancellare. E se il tuo corpo non stesse cercando di ostacolarti… ma di parlarti? In questa puntata esploriamo il profondo legame tra emozioni, sistema nervoso e corpo, scoprendo come stress, paura, ansia e preoccupazioni possano influenzare il nostro modo di respirare, muoverci e persino percepire il mondo. Parleremo di perché il corpo spesso si accorge di ciò che la mente non è ancora pronta ad ammettere, di come imparare a riconoscere i suoi segnali prima che diventino un grido e di come la mindfulness possa insegnarci una delle abilità più preziose che abbiamo dimenticato: ascoltarci. Perché il corpo non è il nemico da controllare. Non è una macchina da spremere. Non è un semplice contenitore della mente. È il luogo in cui ogni emozione lascia una traccia e ogni istante della nostra vita prende forma. Forse non puoi evitare tutte le difficoltà. S. 4 Ep. 34 - Ti è mai capitato di sentirti stanco… senza capire davvero il perché? Ti svegli già senza energie, fai fatica a concentrarti, hai meno pazienza e anche le decisioni più semplici sembrano pesare il doppio. Forse non sei diventato più fragile.

S. 4 Ep. 33 - Perché ci sentiamo così spesso in conflitto con noi stessi? Forse perché la mente corre senza sosta, mentre il corpo continua ad aspettarci. In questa meditazione guidata intraprenderai un viaggio simbolico dentro una valle silenziosa, dove incontrerai due parti di te che, troppo spesso, vivono come estranee: la mente, instancabile e sempre in allerta, e il corpo, paziente, presente e profondamente saggio. I got to sit down with Jimmie Trammel from the Tulsa World and Danny Boy O'Connor, founder of the Outsiders House Museum to talk about their new book, Staying Gold: An Oral History of the Outsiders.Jimmie Tramel, who was born in Pryor and raised in Locust Grove, is a lifelong Oklahoman who has worked at the Tulsa World since 1989. He was a sports writer for 25 years and wrote books on (or with) former Oklahoma State football coach Pat Jones and former University of Oklahoma coach Barry Switzer.
