So it begins…2020 was well a year that most people would like to put in their rear view mirror. But there was still video games to keep us distracted in the first of our categories awards that include best looking video game game and best moment in video games. If you want to find out how we got the winners -here is our podcast of deliberations.

With the world 'supposedly getting back to normal', we return with a podcast about movies and TV. There is a discussion on the 'Snyder' Cut of the Justice League, Ruby Rose leaving Batwoman and we talk about how digital-first release has lead to some tension between Universal Pictures and major chains in the US. It's been a strange few months for movies and TV. Lots of cancellations and postponement but also lots more time to watch them. We didn't want to be completely bad news so we left this for a month or so. Anyway, this is our giant catch up. Of course with social isolation, the audio isn't amazing but turn the volume up and enjoy.

It's late again, I know. We even missed out on the cancellation of Daredevil - but still we deliver the Watchast for the month of November. This month we talk about the passing of the great Stan Lee and the impact he had on pop culture in general. We talk about a PG 13 Deadpool, the plethora of live action Disney films coming and whether we are excited for them and finally we talk the biggest bomb of the year Robin Hood. Yes, it's technically September but this was recored in August, I promise! Welcome to the July Edition of the Watchcast. It's our podcast about movies and TV shows (and various other red herrings and ramblings!!!) July had been a rather busy month with San Diego Comic Con showing us glimpses of Glass, Shazaam and Aquaman. There was the firing of James Gunn from the Guardians of the Galaxy films as well as Dan Harman's questionable pilot resurfacing.  Also there was the Emmy nominations annouced too. We discuss it all as well as Nanette, The Marvelous Miss Maisel, Skyscraper and The Americans series finale. It is jam packed with audio goodness waiting to be crammed into your ears. If you're a gamer then E3 can be your favourite time of the year and e3 2018 is no different. All those announcements, trailers and posturing is something to behold. We get together and break down each of the shows by what we like and what we didn't. There is as always with E3 much to talk about. It would be awesome to hear your favourite announcements too. It's been a busy month personally and yet somehow that managed to be superseeded by a ridiculous amount of movies and tv. It was a busy month for blockbuster and we discuss a few of them, with a focus on our thoughts about Solo: A Star Wars Story and why it's tanking at the box-office. There is trailer discussion about Bumblebee and Suspiria. There is Andrew Lincoln leaving Walking Dead, Rosanne imploding on Twitter and the Lethal Weapon behind the scenes drama. This is all on top of the the usual catch up about what we have been watching and some random thoughts from crossing the finish line. We hope you enjoy!

It's been a while since we have a gamecast and there is a whole lot of catching up to do. God of War, Into the Breach, Crusader King 2, Into the Spire and more. We discuss whether E3 has been ruined by a Canadian Walmart Leak and we make some prediction of our own. There is the usual 'less than witty' banter as well. We hope you enjoy.    

Somewhere in an alternate universe, a perfect sounding March Watchcast exists. In this universe not so much. Still we are back for an April edition and in it we talk Venom, The Meg, Fast and the Furious Cartoon and so much more. It's technically March I know, but this podcast was created in Febuary. I know it's almost cheating but we talk about Black Panther and have a conversation about how they portray race (especially ironic given the very caucasian appearance of us), we deal with the stealth delivery of The Cloverfield Paradox and we fret about Solo after seeing the superbowl teaser. It was a strange start to the week for Brendan and Steve, with rubbish days had by both. Yet we the joy of talking about games lifted our spirits, this gamescast is the result. We talk Dragonball FighterZ, Monster Hunter World, Celeste, Darkest Dungeon and more. We also talk about the weirdness of Nintendo Labo and the first party sweetness of the Xbox Games Pass. It's happened before and it usually begins with seeing multiple movies in a week and a consumate lazy holiday attitude which means I get behind on my Movie review write-ups. So I thought I would just put my voice to my opinions of three films: 'The Post', 'The Shape of Water' and 'I Tonya.' For those who don't care for our long winded bigger podcast brothers this is far shorter then that. Hope you enjoy and would love to hear your opinions of the film.

A little listening for your Christmas/ New Year Season, here is the final Watchccast for 2017. In it we talk about The Last Jedi (as if that wasn't obvious). We share opinions and respond to the criticisms that some seem to have about it. This does contain spoilers. I couldn't time it but there is warning and is about five minutes in length. The month of November has some big things to discuss including Justice League and Stranger Things 2. It is also a rather traumatic month as the trailer for the ill-concieved Rampage movie launches. The harrassment scandal that continues to engulf much of mainstream Hollywood continues as well. We took about incidents involving Jeffery Tambolt, Louis CK and Kevin Spacey. This is it, the big month of November when all the games come out, well technically it was the last week of October but you get the idea. This month we talk about Mario Odyssey, Wolfenstien: The New Coloussus, Assassin's Creed: Origin and Destiny 2. We look at the Battlefront 2 and we start a discussion about Vanilla World of Warcraft. I say start because we paused during the recording and when we come back it sounds weird. It's another month of movies and TV and we are here to discuss all the news. There is the Black Panther, Annihilation trailer followed by a discussion of how we avoid certain trailers hoping to watch something without a tarnished experience. Also we delve into the big issue and try to look at the seperation of Artist versus their art in light of the revelations regarding Harvey Weinstien horrid behaviour. It was exceedinly long in gestation, possibly even longer in recording, plaugued with technical issues, occcured twice but here is the October issue of the 2017 gamescast. It's a big month in TV and Movies. So Pudee and Steve make it their mission to try and discuss all of it. They fail. What we do get to is the Game of Thrones finale, The Twin Peaks: The Return finale and the latest Marvel/ Netflix crossover with Defenders. It's been a busy couple of weeks and I've struggled to get some reviews up. The worst part of these I've seen three awesome films and just haven't have the get up to write about them. So I thought I would sit down and just record my thoughts on them. It's just me Steve talking and that might be a little bit dull. It's only about 20 minutes and so it's relatively short. I would love to hear your feedback one way or another. The films I cover are Dunkirk,  The War for the Planet of the Apes and the Big Sick. The short of it, I really liked all of them all. The long of it is me rambling on the podcast. Hopefully, enjoy!

It's still fairly quiet on the newsfront but we get together to discuss what we've been playing, which to be frank is basically Persona 5 and Prey. There is a few other titles we talk about plus a little bit of Pokemon Go's festival debacle. Now technically this was recorded in July, but only released today.
