    Ivy Insights

The Hope in the Process podcast, hosted by the amazing Jenni, is a powerful and inspiring show that brings a refreshing perspective on faith and life. Jenni's passion for Jesus shines through her words as she fearlessly teaches the Word and shares her personal experiences. With each episode, she captivates listeners with her relatability and genuine love for God.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is how Jenni seamlessly combines biblical truth with real-life stories. She eloquently speaks God's truth, reminding us of His desire for our unwavering faith even in the midst of struggles. Her messages are filled with hope and offer a comforting reminder that God uses all circumstances for His glory. Listening to her wisdom is truly time well spent.

Moreover, Jenni's authenticity and example as a faithful servant is truly commendable. She doesn't shy away from sharing her own journey and how she has found life-changing hope in Jesus Christ. Her transparency allows listeners to connect with her on a deep level, creating an environment where vulnerability is embraced.

However, one potential downside of this podcast could be its narrow focus on Christian teachings. While it caters to those seeking biblical content, it may not resonate as strongly with individuals from different religious backgrounds or those who are more spiritual than religious.

In conclusion, The Hope in the Process podcast is a captivating show that offers a unique blend of biblical teachings and personal stories. Jenni's devotion to Jesus shines through each episode, making it an incredibly uplifting and inspiring experience. Whether you're looking for hope, inspiration or a shift in perspective, this podcast will leave you feeling refreshed and encouraged on your own journey of faith.

Today is part two on this topic and we’re diving deeper into the story of Saul. We’re going to talk about how a heart changed by God will always lead to a transformed life. I hope you enjoy the show!   Episode:    I’m going to start with a recap of Part 1, but I encourage you to listen to that one as it sets up this episode (1:18) I want to point out some things regarding Saul and Samuel (2:32) Let’s jump into 1 Samuel 10, starting in verse 16 (5:15) When we are praying for something, we need to be careful that it aligns with the heart of God and not our own agenda (9:20) God is a God of law and order and desires obedience from His people (12:50) What God does isn’t about us, it’s about who He is (17:09) Saul despaired because his troops were abandoning him as they cowered in fear (23:10) We will have to stand before God and give account for our own actions, which is why the heart check is so imperative (25:26) A changed heart leads to a transformed life (26:46) We have to remember that while we can only see the outward actions of people, God sees and determines the conditions of ones’ heart (34:01) I will continue on with David in Part 3, I want to give David due honor (35:51) Are you fit to fight or created to conquer? Today we’re going to be in he books of Judges and 1 Samuel - looking at our total depravity as humans as a result of the fall and how God desires law and order to protect his people from harm. Trusting and relying on God is key to the Christian walk. A changed heart leads to a changed life! Let’s dive in.   Episode:    We’re starting a journey that will span two episodes. We are kicking off a new year with a fresh start (0:57) The book of Judges is centered around three ideas (2:10) I want to unpack the concept of total depravity (7:33) We went to see the new Croods movie and the Lord spoke to me during it (11:10) If we choose to participate in the acts of this world, there are ramifications (14:34) A changed heart will lead to a transformed life (18:23) We have drifted from pursuing God and become a church that does good things in the name of God (23:50) There was a cry of repentance with the Israelites, but something inwardly had not changed. Their plea was for a king. (24:25) Saul ultimately squandered the gifts God had given to him and the idea was that the king would seek the Lord for the people (32:55) In the next episode we’ll get more into Saul’s character and the story of David. But in the meantime I hope you spend some time reflecting on what a changed heart really looks like. Our lives should resemble that of Christ (33:26)   RESOURCES: Don’t Presume On God’s Grace by Eric Redmond   Find me on Instagram and Facebook!

In order to be effective for the Kingdom, we must be a Church that hopes and not a culture that copes. I hope you enjoy today’s episode!   Interview: I felt the nudge to expound on the prophetic dream I shared in episode one (1:03) We have become a culture that copes and not a church that hopes (5:29) I believe God is telling us we must repent (6:59) I want to start with the symbolism that happened in my dream (8:55) Let’s break down what each of the pieces of armor represent for believers (9:58) We are playing on the enemy’s playground and there is a war happening (18:01) I believe God is inviting us in to come back to Him (19:59) We are living in such exciting and yet, for many, frightening times (23:03) Victory is done! However, we are still at war in this world (27:22) God is inviting us to exit this year so differently than how we entered it (30:11)   RESOURCES: Episode One   Find me on Instagram and Facebook!
