Stuff I've learned (in no particular order) that you should take into consideration when you get into podcasting. I don't go into detail on recording/editing equipment to use, because that stuff is relatively easy. Instead I focus on how to develop your brand and how to host a podcast with guests. Plus, tips on incorporating video at the end. (*Make sure you set Zoom to auto-record when you create the virtual meeting with your guest.) My setup is Blue Yeti (~$120) + standard table mount (~$50 w/ accessories) + Windows Voice Recorder (free) + SoundCloud ($10) + basic editing software (prices vary).
