STORY 2: Cumming man sentenced to life in prison for 2015 murder Jeffry Emerson Moulder, 30, was convicted of malice and felony murder for the 2015 killing of 21-year-old Samuel Waters, whose body was never found. Moulder strangled and dismembered Waters near Lake Lanier in a bid to save his marriage and avoid child support. He later confessed to multiple people, including his second wife, who reported him in 2021 after he strangled her during an altercation. Despite the lack of a body, evidence and testimony, including cadaver dog findings, led to Moulder’s conviction. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole, bringing closure to Waters’ family after 10 years. "The New York office asked me if I'd like to transfer there as supervisor and a pay raise that was literally three times greater than what I was earning at the time as a 25-year-old ‘newbie' in the world of advertising. My immediate response was: 'No thank you, I want to make movies.' Soon thereafter I accepted a job as a production assistant on a TV show called 'Dream On' which was featured on HBO, for a tiny fraction of the salary I was offered in the ad business. My gut told me that if I took that high-paying job I would be shackled by the proverbial ‘golden handcuffs' and never be able to pursue my passion for the film and TV industry. Queenstown's film and TV industry finally has a home. An old department store has been transformed into Remarkable Studios NZ – already ticking off having its first major drama project filmed there. It's located just five minutes from Queenstown airport and close to several hotels. Screentime NZ chief executive Philly de Lacey told Mike Hosking they'd been looking for a place for some time when they saw the lease became available.
