This Episode was Recorded on Tuesday 12/5/2022It has been 4 Long months Since the last episode of the Mindless Sessions Podcast was released. I took a little bit of a break because Podcasting wasn't fun for me anymore and I was Just going through the motions.  In this return Episode, I get in the Big College Football news regarding Deion Sanders Leaving Jackson State after 3 years. He is now the new Coach for colorado University Buffaloes Football. His departure from Jackson state and the SWAC  was far from mutual and peaceful. His impact on the school and what he has done for Jackson state did not deserve this type of response in my opinion.  Then the LA Lakers are now starting to Look like a winning team yet again with AD Going on a scoring rampage for 5 games straight was Russ really the issue or was he just miscast to be something he wasn't? This then leads to the question of who is the issue on the laker's team.  The Alabama Crimson Tide is out of the College Football playoffs for only the 2nd time since the Nick sabin era.  Everyone is up in arms about the Crismsioln Tide missing the playoffs with them having 2 losses this season.   IG: Mindless_sessionspodcast Twitter (For Now) : sessionsmindless Thank you for the listens and hopefully I can gain more on this comeback tour

Welcome to another episode of The Mindless Sessions podcast. The WNBA Just crowned new champions in the Las Vegas Aces and this is a sign that we as a society should start taking women's sports more seriously as a whole.  Women are getting stronger and better all around especially when it comes to sports. I think we are getting to a point where we could see some unisex sports leagues starting to pop up. AEW is still dealing with the backlash from the ALL OUT pay-per-view backstage fight involving Cm Punk and The Elite.  I talk about the leadership issue that AEW has when it comes to the locker room and its superstars.  There is a multitude of things that I think should happen to keep this type of thing from happening again.  These types of issues would not have happened in WWE and I explain how AEW could take a few things from WWE to help them in the future. The NBA is also dealing w/ some Issues in regards to Phoenix Suns Owner Rober Sarver and some remarks he has made toward employees on his staff.  Then Adam Silver gave a press conference that really just added fuel to the fire.  The NBA is on the Verge of having another Donal Sterling incident occur if they can't figure out some type of way to fix this problem. Untold a Netflix Documentary Series covers the story of Manti Te'o and his fake girlfriend. This happened back in 2013 but there are a lot of things that came out from this documentary. That we didn't know at the time when all this went down. The Media also really missed the mark on how they covered the situation. I highly recommend going to watch this great documentary. 

Welcome to this Edition of the mindless sessions Podcast of course with me the mindless one Justin Hawkins. It never fails that every time I struggle to find topics to talk about something crazy or interesting just falls into my lap whether it comes from  IG, Tik Tok, YouTube, and so on. This week we had a lot of things happen: Andrew Tate getting banned from all social media Platforms due to him violating some of the guidelines that are put in place by these social media. I don't think this is going to have the planned effect they think it is going to have. Then we have Erica Banks out here twerking at a high school pep rally and this is causing a crazy amount of controversy about whether was she in the wrong for twerking at high school in front of minors. We will also deep dive into the issues with sports media and what it feels people are missing when it comes to sports media. Then of course I will be talking about the most recent Laker's Acquisition of Patrick Beverly and what could this do for the Chemistry of the team. Along with all of that, I talk about AEW and WWE in how the tides have kind of changed now with Vince out of power and HHH running things now it seems that the landscape is changing just a little bit now. Then with AEW, I get into my personal Feelings about the Cm Punk and John Moxley Championship Unification Match that happened this past week on AEW Dynamite. So much to cover that this may turn into a Two part episode.

This June 17th, 2022 edition of The Mindless Sessions podcast. The Mindless one talks about the issues that the Los Angeles Lakers and  Brooklyn Nets have with their current roster and superstar players. Some of these players are; Russel Westbrook, Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant.  Then tries to give some solutions. The keyword is to try to give some solutions to these situations while also giving his honest opinion on both situations as they stand at the moment.  A Review of WWE Smackdown and Raw that turns into a rant about WWE and how he views the current product compared to AEW.  Is this the straw that breaks the camel's back for this wrestling fan or is it a turning point? Then  The mindless one talks about how to start something new and the fears that come with starting new.Also , Kevin Gates comes up in a segment called random S**t i find on Instagram

I'm gonna keep this short this Episode was hard to record. I talk about the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Texas and the shooting at a local supermarket in Buffalo New York.I give my thoughts and just speak what is on my mind and try to figure out a solution to this problem of mass shootings.  We can never understand evil or what causes people to do these evil acts. All we can do as a nation and as people is try to prevent it from happening.  My prayers go out to all the parents that lost a child and to those who lost loved ones. I cuss a lot during this Episode just a heads up 

I Recorded this Episode on Tuesday, May 10th , 2022Description coming soon The Passing of Kevin Samuels (The Godfather)  Comments about women that are 30 and up are leftover Women that men didn't want..As a nation we have gotten to a point where we let our hate of person cloud our emotions because they speak or something that we didn't like. It is hard for me to celebrate someone passing in any capacity cause no matter how I fell personally someone still lost a life. The only thing this shows is that certain people have lost their ability to feel sympathy. If Kevin Samuels was your family member saying the things he said you would want others to feel for him right? I am of the belief that you keep the same energy no matter if the person is dead or alive. That is just how I feel in my honest opinion but notice that some of the people that are celebrating are probably the same people he was talking about. I was not the biggest fan of Mr.Samuel's but I do think he made some good points and he said some outlandish stuff. But at the end of the day he's still a human and another person gone too soon.Antonio Brown Speaks about Kap in a podcast interview This is the most annoying thing In the world to me this goes beyond this situation and I'm not saying anything ground breaking here. Why do people feel the need to put down people that have something they don't. I have never understood that it is i the most mind bottling thing. I don't get it especially coming from someone who literally shit there opportunity away because of some petty money negotiations. This zone can be very grey for those who don't know what it really means. This so called zone is not the worst place to end up yet it is not the best place either. This is gonna be the more quote unquote controversial part of the podcast. 

Welcome to the Mindless Sessions podcast I am the mindless one The non-people peoples person Justin Hawkins. I am going to do something a little different with these next few episodes. I'm gonna do a mini-series on the problems of modern dating, yes this same old stick just bare with me here for a moment. I noticed that when I talk about dating and certain topics within dating. I find myself using other things to get the point across. Within this mini-series, I'm gonna be using sports, pop culture, and some other news stories to kind of get point across to help people understand these weird topics in dating. It will span over 3 episodes the first episode will be about the art of settling, the second episode will be about the friend zone and the third and final episode of the series will be about wanting a finished product. This is gonna be somewhat difficult for me but it should be fun. Also ill try to get some of my friends on these episodes so it's not just my lovely radio voice.  Then I Get into the topic of Colin Kaepernick wanting to make a return to the NFL. Is that a reality or just a pipe dream that won't happen? Does Kaepernick have other options if the NFL doesn't work out for him? I think he has other options to help him in his quest to play football.  We also have the NBA playoffs going on I will address some of the storylines that are going on within the playoffs. I do say the F-word alot in this episode and I mean the actual F- word. This is a very rare jam packed edition of the Mindless Sessions podcast. On this Episode Talk about the fall out of the slap heard around the world that took place at the Oscar's on March 27th 2022. I get into the NBA playoff bracket and how the play-in tournament cold cause a lot of interesting match ups to happen in t he playoffs this year.  I rant about the Los Angles Lakers and how the team is currently constructed. I give my thoughts on what should happen at end of this season. On this episode of the Mindless Sessions podcast,  I covered the ongoing case of the new QB of the Clevland browns Deshaun Watson. I give my opinions on how I feel about the whole situation. Also how others should look at this situation and try to avoid getting themselves getting caught up in something similar and having their life turned upside down.  Then I talk about the NEW deal  Nike and the Kobe Bryant Brand. I'm super excited about this deal and this is something that should've been done before his death. I also get into the topic of giving people their flowers while they are on this earth and not after they pass away. Along with that, I talk about Paul "Triple H" Levesque and his scary health situation that had him on death's doorstep.  Then to wrap it all up on a high note I give an update on the march madness bracket as they were at the moment I was recording.  Also, I look at the rap madness bracket and give my take on some of the seeding within the bracket.  Rap Madness is something that RAP TV does every year putting rappers against other rappers in a march madness style bracket to see who the best rapper is.  I Can't Forget about the NCAA Men's and Women's Basketball tournaments.    NEXT  WEEK I will be filling out my whole Rap Madness bracket and giving my full review of who should win and how the bracket is currently filling out. Like , Subscribe , Leave a comment I would like to hear everyone's feedback 

On this episode of the podcast, I covered a few topics.  2x WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall passed away after having two heart attacks after getting hip surgery. We remember and celebrate some of his great career moments and his great impact on the wrestling community. While also talking about how he overcame his demons and turned his life around. Rest in Power Scott hall.  The NFL world is going crazy right now with free agency. A lot of big moves are happening in the NFL.  Tom Brady is now back in the NFL after a 40-day retirement. His announcement also conflicted with march madness. Which left a lot of people upset with him for taking the spotlight away from the biggest sporting events of the year. Then March Madness is now in full swing for both Men and Women's basketball teams. I Will take you through the 1st round bracket winners and take some of the second match-ups.  A lot of upsets happened in the first round.  Those upsets also broke so many brackets leaving no more perfect brackets.  How close has someone come to actually filling out a completely perfect bracket? This gives me the opportunity to perfect my craft, and make sure I update quality yet informative content for my listeners. In This Episode:March Madness is upon us starting on the 13th of March and ending on the 4th of April. This is a time period allowing 68 college basketball teams to compete in seven rounds, presented by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The competing teams will be presented on March 13th also known as Selection Sunday, when the selection committee reveals the completed competing list. The WWE company has released yet another console game. Making 2K22 the company's 21st installment of the game, and with Rey Mysterio being on the cover, it allows players to play through the biggest moments within his career. The game simulation also released a new feature within the game; MyFACTION. This mode allows players to build factions and compete with others online. The topic of does money equal love is also talked about.  Black Excellence refers to a level of high success or achievement by a Black person and/or people. As of recently it seems as if the black community is finally beginning to gain its recognition. From the outside looking in it may seem as if its one of the more minor problems the community should take head on, but it isn't. African American people have been the blueprint to a variety of items ranging from pop culture trends to objects you use in your daily living. With a community of people having such a large impact onto the world and not getting the needed recognition, it's now time to claim what we've created. Which is why we should thank Alexander Miles for automatic elevator doors, Sarah Boone for improving the ironing board, Garret Morgan for inventing the three-signal traffic light, and Marie Van Brittan Brown for developing an early model of the home security system. Those were just a few of the many Black people who are deserving for their recognition of black excellence. Although, March Madness is a big deal to sports fanatics, Women's History is an even greater event to celebrate during the month of March. Even though we should be thanking and cherishing our women every day, this month gives us the time to show gratuities to all the women who have helped us grow positively in our lives. During this month, we shouldn't only be thankful for our Sisters, Mother's, Grandmothers, Aunts, Cousins, Friends, and etc. Also take time to thank the ladies who helped further women like, Maya Angelou, Sojourner Truth, Malala Yousafzai, and many more!

Welcome to the podcast of the Mindless session we are about to get into it today cause we are talking about Brain Flores and his lawsuit against the NFL. The David Culley situation and how he was fired for really no reason after 3 seasons. Then we get into the use of the word Thug throughout the sports commentary world. Talk about the difference between the NFL and NBA in how they deal with race relations. Also, dive into the use of the word as a code word for the N-word in regards to how it was used to describe players that were involved in the malice in the brawl of 2004. Then I talk about the word thug was used to describe Richard Sherman in 2014. Being in black history month is this month I gonna highlight some of the great black people in the black community every week this month. This is gonna turn into something I'm gonna do on the regular here on the podcast of the mindless session. We don't need to celebrate black people for only one month we need to celebrate black people doing great things all year long

I hope you guys enjoy this episode. I spoke from the heart on this one. This is something I feel deeply about not just because I'm black. I want the culture to realize the flaws that we have within our own house. I want us as black people to fix our community while also getting justice for our community. Let me know your thoughts on this topic. I wanna hear from you.  I wanna do an episode where I read comments and just have a good discussion.

I talk about the Antonio Brown situation ranging from his time with Steelers to his and all everything else in between.  Then I'll talk about some the comments he made on the full send podcast. Then I'll give my thoughts on where i see things going from here. This is an ever growing story at the time i recored this episode using the information that was available there will be another update Episode on this situation so stayed tuned. 

In this Episode I talk about how my stress leads to me being depressed in anxious. I just  talk my own personal dealing with and how i have learned to deal with in my everyday life. Then I also talk about some the causes of depression and go into detail about how these factors and how they effect people. I'm not a trained medical professional. I am a regular guy just talking about my issues hoping that someone can sympathize.. If you feel depressed or stress to the point where you think it is too much go seek out help.. Get the proper treatment.. If You know someone that is dealing with depression help them out but letting them know that there are options out there that can help them with the pain. Once again thank you for the listen and your support.
