The “It Ends With Us” lawsuits have a court date of March 9th, 2026. The attorneys faced off in Court on February 3rd, 2025, arguing who started the smear campaign and the judge promptly told them to knock it off. The Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni Federal lawsuits against each other have been consolidated and many issues were addressed. The Joneswork PR vs Baldoni lawsuit was filed on January 27th, 2025, and is a related lawsuit to the consolidated cases. The NY Times hasn't been served yet and Lively's attorneys argued that the case may need to be unconsolidated after just being recently consolidated due to The NY Times being a defendant. Lively intends to file a Protective Order on Discovery which is normal for high profile cases.Diddy received a Superseding Indictment which added additional victims to the racketeering conspiracy charges.Shortly after Karen Read's Hearing on January 31st, 2025, Judge Cannone made a ruling not to do a Daubert Hearing on the defense digital forensics expert, Mr. Green. She had also narrowed a prior ruling regarding journalist Gretchen Voss' notes allowing most of it to remain private. Sarah Boone wrote a letter to the courts because she said that a Notice to Appeal was not filed on her case. The Court wrote back to her informing who her Appellate Attorney is. According to the Sarah Boone's Online Docket, it says that the Notice of Appeal was filed on December 18th, 2024 but received by the Clerk on January 31st, 2025. Sarah Boone was sentenced to life in prison without the eligiblity of parole. This after being offered a 15 year plea deal for which she would have gotten credit for time served and released in only a few more years. While that may have seemed like a raw deal for Sarah and nothing she wanted to seriously consider, an aquittal was highly unlikely. She rolled the dice and lost.  Did Sarah get what she deserved? Was this intentional? Malicious? Or was it merely a tragic accident in the throws of alcohol induced mayhem? And if so should she pay for this with the rest of her life? I suppose the question of whether it was intentional or unintentional holds the key to that unanswered question. Did she mean to do this? it reminds me a lot of the OJ book, attempting to say "I didn't do it, but IF I did do it....". Sarah is the only one who knows what she intended. But whether she meant to kill him or not the outcome is the same.

UPDATE: She has been sentenced to life in prison since the time of this recording. On the afternoon of Monday, February 24th, 2020, first responders in Winter Park, Florida arrived at an apartment complex to find 42-year-old Jorge Torres Jr. dead inside of the apartment he shared with girlfriend, Sarah Boone. Jorge was unfortunately past the point of being able to be revived and was pronounced dead on scene. Homicide detectives arrived on scene to question Sarah, who told them a strange tale of what happened and how she'd “accidentally” left her boyfriend zipped up inside of a suitcase, then fell asleep. However, detectives soon recovered evidence on Sarah's own cell phone that proved that Jorge's death may not have been a tragic accident after all. Sarah Boone, 47, has been sentenced to life in prison for the second-degree murder of her boyfriend, Jorge Torres Jr., 42, who suffocated in a suitcase inside their Winter Park apartment. Boone was convicted after a trial that revealed chilling details about the fatal incident, which occurred on February 24, 2020. Boone had claimed that she and Torres were playing a drunken game of hide-and-seek when he climbed into the suitcase, and she zipped it closed as part of the playful activity. However, disturbing video evidence captured Boone laughing while Torres pleaded for his life, begging to be let out of the suitcase as he struggled to breathe. In the footage, Torres can be heard desperately calling out, “I can't breathe.” Boone's callous response, as she laughed, was to compare his suffering to her own emotional pain, allegedly from his infidelity and abuse. “For everything you've done to me,” she says in one video, justifying her actions with an eerie sense of detachment. Among the civilian witnesses were Jorge Torres's Bother, Sarah Boone's Ex-Husband and the apartment neighbors. The state was able push in a lot of evidence through witnesses like the 911 operator, the assistant store manger, deputy sheriffs at the scene and the CSI forensic biologist. The defense said that Sarah Boone is expected to testify next week. Sarah Boone was arrested in 2020 for Second Degree Murder of her boyfriend, Jorge Torres. She said they were playing hide and seek and she zipped him up a suitcase. Police found a video in Sarah's phone of Jorge Torres pleading to be released because he couldn't breathe. She is heard mocking and taunting him. Sarah has gone through eight different state appointed defense attorneys. The judge said that she was going to have to represent herself due to her behavior. Boone wrote an advertisement and is now being represented by a private attorney.I covered both pre-trial motion hearings for Wednesday, October 16th and Thursday, October 17th. The court has ruled that until Sara Boone takes the stand and establishes the legal grounds or foundations for a self-defense claim, the evidence of that can't come in. She claimed that they were playing around while she was drunk and put him in a suitcase and accidently forgot about him overnight. She called the police after she found him dead from suffocation. The police went through her phone and found a video of Jorge pleading with her to release him from the suitcase because he couldn't breathe. Boone instead taunted and laughed at Torres. She was arrested in 2020 and has remained in custody. Boone has had 8 public defenders and had to represent herself because she would not work with her appointed representation. Boone put out an advertisement and managed to get a private attorney to take on her case. Last week, she rejected a plea deal for the lesser charge of manslaughter serving 15 years. Sean Diddy Combs is facing six new civil cases filed against him by attorney Tony Buzbee, with more on the way. These cases will be added to the federal criminal case if there is sufficient evidence. Diddy's attorney defended his client stating that they have full confidence in the fact that he didn't do the things claimed in the lawsuits. His attorney's will most likely claim that Diddy cannot adequately represent himself from the barrage of civil litigation while in custody. Bryan Kohberger is set to start trial in August 2025, and Sean ‘Diddy' Combs is set for trial in May 2025. It's unlikely that Diddy will go to trial in May as scheduled due to the amount of digital evidence in the case. Diddy is still trying to be released from custody and is asking to have his appeal argued in early November. Even when cases go to trial, it doesn't mean they are done as Alec Baldwin has been learning. Prosecutor Kerri Morrissey is still pursuing her motion to have the court reconsider dismissing Baldwin's case with prejudice. That isn't set for hearing yet.
