This week, we step into the heart and soul of America's pastime. In this nostalgic episode, Mike sits down with Jonna Perlinger, the driving force behind Babe's Babes Media, to explore how baseball isn't only a sport — it's a legacy, a love language, and a way to keep the memories of those we cherish alive. From childhood living rooms turned into stadiums and sacred Yankees memorabilia that defined family bonds, to the modern-day mission of creating space for women's voices in a traditionally male-dominated field — this conversation hits every note: nostalgia, inspiration, and pure passion for the game. Whether you grew up watching games on the couch with your dad, collecting cards with your brother, or cheering from the stands with your daughter — this episode is a home run. It's about more than baseball. It's about belonging. It's about legacy. And it's about rewriting the future of the game, one voice at a time. IN THIS EPISODE: ➡️Breaking Down Baseball as Legacy ➡️The Rise of Babe's Babes Media ➡️Breaking Barriers in a Male-Dominated Field ➡️The Power of Storytelling in Sports

Canty discusses the challenges athletes face when careers end, the importance of finding new communities, and how team chemistry extends to broadcast studios. Chris also explores player empowerment, NIL's impact on collegiate sports, and the expanding career paths available in today's industry. For students and aspiring professionals, he offers practical advice on seizing opportunities, investing in personal growth, and leading with resilience. Hosted on Acast. It's not getting much publicity but Super Bowl winning coach Jon Gruden is making real strides in court to get "uncancelled" by the coaching world. We won't judge whether Gruden is a boy scout but the NFL made quite a reach going after Gruden when he was not an NFL employee. The lawsuit moves on and Gruden has won at every turn so far. Then, it's got to be really hard to be in traditional sports media these days covering a team on a beat. Travis Kelce and his brother are a classic reason why the old way has hit the highway.

Adam Munsterteiger and Brian Howell shared their thoughts from the Touchdown Club at Folsom Field in Boulder after covering Colorado's 2025 Fall Sports Media Day event.
Former NBA guard Jeff Teague recently said LeBron James used steroids and had to sit out games under the guise of a back injury because the league started testing for HGH. Teague quickly backtracked and claimed he was just joking, but Jason Whitlock isn't buying it. On this episode of “Fearless,” Whitlock once again tackles a topic sports fans care about, but ESPN and FOX Sports are ignoring. Whitlock revisits similar accusations Kevin Garnett made last year about James and argues Teague was silenced by the powerful sports media, which doesn't like when its moneymakers' reputations are sullied by PED allegations. Whitlock gives a rundown of other alleged PED-ophiles, including Lance Armstrong, Barry Bonds, Jon Jones, and Alex Rodriquez, and he discusses the accusations with guests Steve Kim and Jay Skapinac. Later on, Whitlock addresses Cam Newton's controversial comments about Jalen Hurts not ranking as a top-10 quarterback, and he argues there is a top-five list, but the top 10 quarterbacks could be anyone. More Caitlin Clark hate, John Harbaugh on Trump, and Deion Sanders' trip to son Shiloh's training camp are more topics Whitlock covers on today's exciting show!
