We are a church family - sons and daughters of a Father who places high value on our lives. We love the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We believe the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit loves all of humanity and that He came for us all. We love His grace, we love relationship with Him and we love the adventure and journey of life with Him leading us through. We are passionate about God's kingdom extending through His manifest presence.

The Spirit of God will use the word of God to transform the child of God. 1 Corinthians 2:12-13. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. Simon is the Pastor of Life Community Church in Rochford, Essex.

In the second of our preaching series: "Creation to Christ", Lawrence takes us from the Fall to the Glory.

We launch a new preaching series ‘Creation to Christ' exploring how the conversation from Luke 24 between Jesus and the two disciples on the road to Emmaus may have gone which caused them to express :- “were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road…”

The River welcomes the Right Reverend Bishop Adam Atkinson to share with us a timely message about friendship with Jesus from John 21:1-14.

It has always been God's desire to dwell with his people. The Holy Spirit within us makes our hearts His dwelling place.

Remember, you will only hear what is spoken into the microphone. Any comments from the room will not be picked up.

This quote from Kathryn Kuhlman echoes Eph 4:30, but what does it mean and why is it relevant to us today?

Jesus believes in the work He did on the cross for us. Staying free in Him is worth it.

Is Jesus your Lord? Have you lost your life, your everything, in order to find it in Him? Ruth challenges us to an all-in Peter style level of discipleship.

Following Alan's message last week on Luke 5, Pete applies the message to us as local church by sharing vision for our next steps.

Ruth speaks from Mark 1 encouraging us to receive the best gift of all this Christmas & be baptised in the Holy Spirit.

Eyes down for a full house - Jesus is the head of a long list of famous ancestors. Join the list too, as one of His descendants! Just as importantly, prophecy lifts our eyes up, just like the wise men and the star - all eyes on Jesus! And not just for Christmas - He's coming back again!

Christ did not set us free just to escape something, but toembrace Someone. He didn't just free us from sin—He freed us to love, to serve, to worship, to live.Don't settle for half of God's gift. Freedom from iswonderful—but freedom to is where the abundant life truly begins.

We would like to avoid trials but this is how we grow. If we treat them right Jesus starts to show in our lives (Gal 4:19) and makes bad things good by conforming us to Christ (Rom 8:28-29)Anyone interested going deeper in the book of Romans - a great resource is Romans for you by Tim Keller (2 books)

Our visiting speaker, Neil Thompson teaches us that the life of God flows from his presence. As we learn to practice a constant awareness of God's presence in our everyday lives we can see rivers of life flowing out from us to the world around us. How can we do that in today's distracted world?

Our good friend Rob Purnell, from New Life Church Crouch Valley Wickford encouraged us with a word about remaining in the vine.

In our busy noisy lives Jesus calls us to find him in silence. The Father is there waiting for us in secret if we will just give him our attention. Augustine said to enter into silence is to enter into joy. Andy invites us to give it a try ...

Pete poses the question - does God really have a value for these things? And does he really play with crocodiles?! Listen as we unpack part 7 of our 10 part series

Comparison is the thief of joy and creativity. Nathan helps us to see ourselves through Jesus' eyes, using and walking in our own gifts and calling as we are created by the creator to be creative. We are gifted with gifts to those around us. We are all unique and have something significant to bring to please God, rather than to please those around us.

Lawrence reminds us that faith is the confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
