Today we’re doing thing a little differently because I know that not all amazing women happen to be moms so today we are having a #notamom day! I know so many incredible and interesting women and just because they are not a parent it shouldn't keep me from telling you their amazing stories. So today we start out with a bang and we speak with my friend Alexis Auditore, Manager of Physical Production for Marvel Studios where she oversees the day to day logistics of all Marvel feature films. She tells us what it’s like to work in Hollywood, from the super glamorous to the not so much, and spills some dishyness on some of our favorite celebs. I had the best time talking to her, she’s really the best and I will forever be looking for her name in movie credits from here on out. According to her, if you see someone applaud her name it's probably her father, he does that. Make sure you post your finished product on Instagram and be sure to tag me @OneAmazingMomPod.   Rachel's Sugar Cookies 1c Unsalted Butter 1c Sugar 1tsp Vanilla Extract 1/2tsp Almond Extract 1 Egg 2tsp Baking Powder 1/2tsp Salt 3c Flour -Preheat oven to 350 -Cream butter and sugar until smooth (at least 3 minutes) -Beat in extracts and egg -In a separate bowl combine baking powder and salt with flour and add a little at a time to the wet ingredients. -DO NOT CHILL THE DOUGH -Bake at 350 for about 6-8 minutes. -Makes around 3 dozen Royal Icing 2c Powdered Sugar 1 Egg White 1tsp Lemon Juice   Happy Baking!

We talk about family, how moms are the worlds best problem solvers and what it was like being on the show The West Texas Investors Club on CNBC. Which, if you’re not familiar with it, is like the Texas version of Shark Tank. I think this is the very first episode that I didn’t edit anything out because these two ladies are so fun, and shared so much information I had to leave it all in!
