We just returned from Montreal, the scene of what some are calling the latest cringe social media post from lovebirds Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau. The two are dancing in a Montreal Hardware store to Justin’s son’s song playing on the radio, but plenty of people have been taking some mean shots at them, one tv presenter calling them the most annoying couple in the world. On the other side of the spectrum, we talk about one of the most adorable couples in the word: Zendaya and Tom Holland, who have taken quite the opposite approach to managing their relationship in the spotlight. Do we even have confirmation that they’re actually married?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Knitting in Passing Roc loves to visit yarn stores so we went to: Wicked Good Yarns in Braintree, MA where he bought scissors, a kit for a chicken and Joann gifted him the tapestry needle he was looking for. Elissa's Creative Warehouse in Needham, MA where he bought blue yarn to cast on an elephant. Stitch House in Dorchester, MA where Roc found a bright mini skein he liked and I restocked my favorite knitting stitch markers. Crafty Adventures Riley worked a bit on the cuff of a sock with her Area 51 Fibres Be FearLESS colorway yarn. Here's the Ravelry Project Page for mine. She also started a diamond painting project and crocheted several rounds on her hexagon blanket. She's using white worsted weight yarn held with minis from the advent yarn Nicole sent her. Marta and Roc both worked on his diamond painting project- a seaturtle. Marta got a crochet kit for a slice of pizza at Walmart and was able to finish 2 pieces with the yarn from the kit (with some heavy mods on the second one). Roc completed 2 hippo stuffies out of microfiber blanket yarn (free pattern from the Friendly Fox site). He finished a dinosaur he started during his last visit and the chicken he bought this year. Gabriella got a Craft-tastic learn to knit kit for her birthday (on sale at CVS right now). It came with a small circular loom. I taught myself how to do it and made a small axolotl. Came out cute! Has patterns for a bee and a panda too. In My Travels We visited Tall Ships while they were in Boston Museum of Ice Cream (lots of fun, especially with kids. We spent about 90 minutes there) Bota Borg 24 quests- each is a series of escape rooms. You can do as many as you like with teams of 3 or more. You choose 2 or 4 hours. We loved it and would definitely go back. The Great Gatsby (musical) We enjoyed seeing our small towns from another perspective. Running an elementary school in rural British Columbia hasn't stopped this Ruckus Maker from building an indoor worm farm, growing hydroponic lettuce, and taking a self-funded year off to reset — proof that a principal's personality is not a distraction from the job. Dan Watt is a Mastermind Coach inside the Ruckus Maker community and a recurring co-host of the Ruckuscast, known for turning "pay yourself first" into a leadership philosophy that's kept him energized four years into the role. Joining him is Mitch Weathers, CEO and author of Executive Functions for Every Classroom, whose work on entry plans and executive functioning has become required reading for school leaders trying to build systems that actually stick. Find them both at betterleadersbetterschools.com. Principal burnout doesn't start with too many emails — it starts the moment you decide the job requires you to leave your actual personality at the door. This episode is an Adorable Red Hats reunion where two veteran school leaders make the case that worm farms, hydroponics, and paying yourself first aren't distractions from leadership — they're the thing that makes it sustainable.

In celebration of World Otter Day on May 27, keepers Wendy and Carli introduce the playful family of Asian small-clawed otters, giving listeners a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of mom, dad, their older brothers, and the newest addition, a litter of energetic baby pups. The keepers share each otter's unique personality, how the family works together to care for the pups, and what it's like raising one of the world's smallest and most social otter species.

Ben and Ione take refuge from the Sydney gloom to pod. Beck plays the Palais with a full symphony orchestra and becomes the unlikely lens for a deep dive into sellout culture, punk idealism, and whether anti-commercialism has always been a rich person's sport. Keli Holliday was turned away at the US border — Ben thinks strong men politicians and the Real Housewives are basically the same show. Plus: they watched the Martin Short and Chevy Chase documentaries back to back and only one of them is a cautionary tale. Also SZA lied about her freckles. And her TV. Dave talks about he and Tracy hanging with sweet Lyla at the ball field.
This episode is really special to me.You're going to meet two girls who are both showing us what strength looks like… just in very different ways.First, you'll meet Leahla. Right now, she's going through treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma. And the way she talks about it? The way she carries herself? It stopped me in my tracks. She's not looking for pity. She's not calling herself a “nebach.” Her words: “We're not nebachs. We're heroes.”And once you hear her explain what that means… you won't forget it.Then you'll meet Sari. After her baby sister spent time in the NICU, Sari realized something powerful: She doesn't just want to learn… she wants to help. She's already thinking about becoming a nurse one day, maybe in oncology, maybe in the NICU… and the way she talks about caring for people, really seeing them, is something every kid (and adult!) needs to hear.So this episode is about two kinds of strength: ✨ The strength to go through something hard ✨ And the strength to step up and help others through it
-Simpson was on a podcast with Caleb Downs and said that Alabama knew what Indiana was going to do on every defensive snap against them, but just “couldn't do anything about it” in their 38-3 loss to the Hoosiers in the playoffs-Bryant Haines, Indiana's DC, caught wind of the comments on Twitter this weekend and said, “Adorable…we also saw everything they weredoing, every single snap, it's just that we exploited those cues…and didn't get frozen or crushed by them.” Beautiful.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Elizabeth, a podcast fan favorite, is back to chat about her upcoming trip to Hawaii. She and her extended family plan to visit Kauai (home of Stitch), and then her immediate family will be wrapping up the fun with a visit to Aulani: A Disney Resort and Spa. Between these two destinations, Elizabeth and her family were in for some fun. In addition to exploring the rich culture of Hawaii and learning about its history, things they were most looking forward to were whale watching, eating Hawaiian shave ice, and seeing lots of their pal, Stitch. Oh, and by the way, the kids don't know they are going to Aulani yet (it's a secret!!!!). Send us Fan MailThe bats are ready to emerge from their winter hibernation in the United States, and we are back with an Adorable Animals All-Out Attack celebration! We are blessed by the presence of Lou Diamond Phillips in Bats (1999), Columbia Pictures was hoping that Nightwing (1979) would be their next summer blockbuster, and then from there, Bela Lugosi is so done with imbecilic, bombastic ignoramuses in The Devil Bat (1940)!

Lords: Chris Fabian https://fgiesen.wordpress.com/ Topics: Oops, my 3D printer became a hobby GTA's AI is not trying to screw with you with its sudden lane changes and T-boning you at intersections, it's just oblivious. (Probably.) Esper says: "I can confirm the traffic AI in Cyberpunk 2077 is still hilarious. I set my car to 'auto drive' and after maybe 30 seconds it took a hard right into the ocean. Maybe that's lore accurate, who knows." Popping unroasted coffee beans into your mouth like peanuts. The worst tasting and most caffeinated cup of coffee you've ever had. Your local library. Things that should not be businesses. Three possible purposes of universities. Finding a new hobby (derogatory) 3D printing a selection of action figures for your wedding. That one person you know who's really into 3D printers. Why having a broken 3D printer counts as a hobby where having a broken refrigerator is just a situation. Yanking out some gunk with pliers in hopes that that'll fix it. Your 3D printer breaking halfway through your wedding figurine project so you have to make the other other half out of milled aluminum. IBM Selectric Typewriters shipping with a repair guy who lives in your spare bedroom in case it breaks. Amazon sending an Amazon warrior to repair your 3D printer but since you only paid for the cheap extended warranty she's allowed to attack anybody including you. Whether Balatro is trying to deliberately find weaknesses in your build. Higher fidelity graphics coming with expectations of higher fidelity traffic modeling. Car AI in open world games being as dumb as the developers can get away with, except for in Cyberpunk 2077, where they're dumber than the developers can get away with. Whacking at it until it's good enough to ship. Traffic tuning in GTA Vice City. Playing games with really smart, effective AI, like Chessmaster 2000 and X-Com, and realizing that actually having really smart AI is no fun. Skating around with rollerblades on your elbows and knees. Everything's a tuna can. Three car accidents in six weeks. Conscientiously objecting to military service so they insist you get a driver's license instead. Driving through a haunted house to train the braking reflex in response to being startled. Whatever happened to ol' Alby Whale? The AI assistant named Zack turning out to just be a dude named Zack. Adorable tiny food delivery robots who turn out to just be remote controlled by a guy hiding around the corner. Waymo cars blocking major thoroughfares for hours at a time. Multitasking between all the most stressful, confusing driving situations. Self-driving cars (allegedly) turning self-driving off half a second before impact so the impact is blamed on the human operator. Several hundred tons of liquid nitrogen cooled supercomputer. Blaming your spelling errors on The Enigma Layer. Having seen more proof of your AI assistant than you have of god. It's scammers and hucksters all the way down. Whether DLSS is taking away game developer jobs. What happens when you go from a three word Markov model to a five word markov model. A giant prank with no particular end-game in sight. Acts of speech. Poetry as synesthesia. Trying to explain in words why that cat is acting weird when the cat doesn't think in words at all. My Psychosis, my Bicycle and I, by Fritz B. Simon. Trying to figure out how football works when you can't see the players, only the referee. Feeling some type of way. Trying to take musical ideas and apply them outside of the realm of music. Creating words that dance around concepts. Getting stuck forever in your cringe phase. Opportunities to write the same program over and over again. A melancholy linked list implementation. Passive-aggressive C code. Java Enterprise Abstract Singleton Proxy Factory Bean. Remember printed manuals? The international obfuscated C code contest. What made the 3D accelerated demo scene interesting again. How much code you can fit in 64k if you don't link to anything. Secret Topics.

TEXT US YOUR THOUGHTS!This week on Good2Game Radio, Tony, Jaime, and Vance saddle up and ride straight into Westeros to talk about A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. The guys break down the adventures of Dunk—a towering hedge knight who might be honorable… or might just be really good at pretending he's a knight. Either way, he's somehow stumbled into a royal tournament, adopted a bald kid named Egg, and managed to anger a bunch of very powerful people. What could possibly go wrong? The crew debates Dunk's questionable knighthood, the surprisingly great Trial of Seven battle, and whether the show's smaller budget actually works in its favor compared to House of the Dragon. Along the way, they discuss puppet shows, exploding medieval diarrhea jokes, and why being the only honorable guy in Westeros is basically a death sentence. One thing's clear: Dunk may be the nicest guy in the Seven Kingdoms… which means he's probably doomed.Support the show https://discord.gg/3yfGt9gahB

Is it a National Park or a clerical error? In this episode of the Only in OK Show, Brett and Harley dive into the hilarious history of Guthrie's "smallest National Park" and explores the most charming small towns across the Sooner State. The Typo That Made History: Guthrie's Tiny Landmark Did you know Oklahoma is home to the smallest National Park landmark in the country? Well, technically. Located behind the Guthrie Post Office lies a 10x10 patch of land that exists solely because a city clerk in 1907 didn't double-check their math. Instead of a "100-foot square" plot (10,000 sq. ft.), the paperwork officially designated it as "100 square feet." Today, this "park" is a cult-favorite roadside attraction complete with: An unofficial "Park Ranger" (Stacey Frazier). A wrought iron fence and the historic Beacon Hill monument. "Don't Feed the Bears" signs—despite the only bears being located in nearby antique shops. Exploring the 10 Most Adorable Small Towns in Oklahoma After we "hike" through Guthrie, we zoom out to look at the soul of the state. Based on recent rankings from World Atlas, we break down the must-visit spots for your next Oklahoma road trip: The Scenic Superstars: Broken Bow's towering pines and Eufaula's massive shoreline. Healing Waters: The Arbuckle duo of Sulphur and Davis (don't forget the Arbuckle Mountain Fried Pies!). The Cobblestone Charm: Medicine Park, Oklahoma's first resort town. Star Power: Atoka (Reba's Place), Ada (Blake Shelton's stomping grounds), and Pawhuska (The Pioneer Woman & Osage Nation). Culture & History: Hands-on blacksmithing in Grove and the stunning fall foliage of Talihina.
