Hosted by Pete Mondo, alongside John and Matt, this show covers a wide range of topics including sports, politics, KC area news, and more. From his interviews with national and local guests to his insightful commentary on current events, Pete brings a refreshing perspective that keeps me informed and engaged. He even takes calls from listeners on both sides of the political spectrum and allows them to express their views. This show is a must-listen for anyone looking for logical analysis and balanced discussions.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is Pete's ability to blend local issues with national debate. It's great to hear him address local topics with influential figures in the area while also utilizing his network of national contacts. This brings a nice balance to the show and ensures that listeners are well-informed about both local and national news. Additionally, I appreciate how Pete calls out both the Left and Right when they are being unreasonable or illogical. This level-headed approach is refreshing in today's divisive political climate.
However, my only complaint about this podcast is regarding the Mayor Q interviews. While Pete does his best to get valuable information from Mayor Q, it often feels like QL is evasive and unwilling to reveal his true agenda. This can be frustrating for listeners who are seeking transparency and clarity from their elected officials. Nonetheless, this minor issue does not overshadow the overall quality of the show.
