A veteran to the jungle and footwork scenes, Austrian based artist Simon Hafner aka Sun People has steadily grown a dedicated following through his string of strong releases on Exit Records, Defrostatica, Outlines, and Candy Mountain. Now reaching a new milestone in his musical career, Hafner is starting down his own path by launching a new label dedicated to his own productions and projects with like-minded artists. All Things Records starts off with a raucous bang as Hafner holds nothing back in his first album on the label titled Look Within. Coming in a blistering 10 tracks, there is something for everyone to be found within. Expertly playing with a variety of inspirations and samples, the tracks ebb and flow but stay coherent. Through playful moments, and ambient, space filled interludes, the production is top tier, and the sound design equally so. A well picked, and compiled body of work that showcases the scope of what Sun People can do. This Morning is the ending track of Look Within, and while last, certainly not least. The haunting disembodied voice lays the groundwork for a deep and dark percussion line that picks up after a breathy start. Energetic and seductive, the track entices you in and before you know it, you're bouncing around without a care in the world. This Morning, and the rest of ‘Look Within' will be released both digitally and on vinyl via Bandcamp on the 17th of October. @sun_people www.instagram.com/sunpeople_official/ Write up by @huedj Follow us on social media: @itsdelayed linktr.ee/delayed www.delayed.nyc www.facebook.com/itsdelayed www.instagram.com/_____delayed www.youtube.com/@_____delayed Contact us: info@delayed.nyc
Dan HafnerSoftware Developer, Creator, No-Code ExpertI hear app ideas every single day, and I've learned how to spot the ones with real potential and steer clear of the rest.I've seen firsthand how powerful an app can be as a marketing, fulfillment, and lead-generation tool. There's both an art and a science to bringing these elements together for success. On shows, I can bring value by breaking down this process and explaining how it works in straightforward, simple terms anyone can understand. Are modern men slowly losing their grip on what it means to truly lead? You're working hard. You're showing up. You're providing. But still—your marriage feels off. You're getting blindsided by disconnection, resentment, or even divorce. You're trying to be a good man, yet nothing seems to be enough. Why is it that despite doing “everything right,” so many men are silently failing in the one place that matters most—at home?In this powerful conversation, we dive deep with Quentin Hafner, therapist, author of Black Belt Husband, and coach to high-performing men. What makes Quentin different? He's not your typical therapist—he's a former corporate climber who hit rock bottom after a divorce, did the inner work, and made it his life's mission to help other men heal, lead, and thrive. And he's brutally honest about what's wrong with traditional therapy and how it can actually keep men stuck.Quotes:"My mission field is to really serve men in that capacity, help men heal so they can be highly effective in their families."- Quentin Hafner"There's a time to sit in that pain, not to wallow in it and be miserable, but to be self-reflective and contemplative. - Quentin Hafner"When you trust yourself, other people trust you more too." - Matt BeaudreauKey Takeaways:Most “marriage problems” are personal problems in disguise.According to Quentin, couples often don't have relationship issues—they have individual wounds and unresolved trauma showing up in the marriage.70% of divorces are initiated by women. The most common reason? A deep emotional pain: “I didn't feel like I mattered.” Men often don't realize their wives are emotionally disconnecting until it's too late.Men underestimate the power of emotional safety. Many men believe being a good provider and father is enough. But their wives are craving emotional connection—not just physical security.Passivity is killing modern marriages.High-performing men often become passive or conflict-avoidant in their relationships, fearing they'll come off as controlling. Quentin calls this “fear-based passivity,” and it erodes trust and respect. Conclusion:This episode is a powerful wake-up call for any man who wants to lead—not just at work, but where it matters most: at home. Quentin Hafner doesn't sugarcoat the truth—he reveals how being a passive, well-intentioned husband can still lead to emotional disconnection and even divorce. But there's hope.Leadership in marriage isn't about being dominant or controlling—it's about creating emotional safety, setting the tone, and becoming the kind of man your wife and children naturally trust and follow. Quentin reminds us that real strength isn't found in aggression or avoidance—it's found in presence, purpose, and self-awareness.If you're ready to stop reacting and start leading—with clarity, confidence, and connection—this conversation is your blueprint.Because becoming a Black Belt Husband isn't about perfection. It's about transformation. And it starts with you.Call to Action:Ready to step into your role as a strong, emotionally safe, and purpose-driven leader in your home?
Preaching for the Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Sr. Theresa Hafner, CSJ offers a reflection on how helps to align us with God's vision for us and our world: "At times we may feel overwhelmed and helpless regarding the injustices taking place in the world today. The need for prayer may be flowing out of us all the time, waking and sleeping. Our prayers and conversations with God are what sustain and strengthen us, what allow us to hold on to hope, to be filled with the spirit and to continue to advocate for God's vision so beautifully voiced in the teachings of Jesus."Sr. Theresa Hafner is a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph living in Cleveland, Ohio. For the past 13 years, she has ministered in a local parish faith formation office, assisting parents with their children's religious education and sacramental preparation. Send us a textWhat if you could transform your business with a custom app without spending hundreds of thousands of dollars or learning to code? That's the revolutionary premise behind Dan Hafner's work at Dapper NoCode, where he's helping entrepreneurs bring their digital visions to life.Dan's journey is as unexpected as it is inspiring. Growing up on a Pennsylvania farm riding tractors and playing football, he was adamant about one thing: "I'm not gonna work in front of a computer." Fast forward through roles as a background investigator, quality assurance specialist, and sales professional, and Dan found himself drawn to the emerging world of no-code development after being quoted astronomical prices for his own app idea. The conversation explores how no-code tools function as "digital Legos," allowing non-technical founders to stack pre-built components into custom applications. This democratization of technology puts powerful digital tools within reach for entrepreneurs who previously couldn't afford custom development. As Dan explains, "You can do it cheaper, you can do it faster, and you can still make it custom to what you need."For business owners considering app development, Dan offers practical wisdom on validation and execution. He cautions against falling in love with your own ideas without market confirmation and suggests that finding similar solutions in the marketplace actually validates your concept rather than diminishes it. The discussion covers real-world applications ranging from streamlining operations for an animal chiropractor to enhancing customer loyalty for ice cream shops and gyms.Perhaps most valuable is Dan's entrepreneurial philosophy: "Done is better than perfect" and success is "a game of inches." These principles, coupled with his technical expertise, provide a roadmap for anyone looking to innovate through technology without getting lost in pursuit of perfection. Ready to explore how a custom app might transform your business? This conversation might be your first step toward digital innovation.Support the showThanks for listening & being part of the Mindset Cafe Community.----------------------------------------------Connect With Devan:https://www.devangonzalez.com/connect----------------------------------------------Follow On Instagram https://www.instagram.com/devan.gonzalez/https://www.instagram.com/mindsetcafepodcastLet me know what topics or questions you want covered so we can help you achieve your goals faster.----------------------------------------------P.S.

In this episode of “The Business of Blueberries,” Kasey Cronquist, president of the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council (USHBC) and the North American Blueberry Council, is joined by Brian Kuehl, executive director of the Agriculture Trade Education Council. The Agriculture Trade Education Council is the premier resource for education on the value of agricultural trade policies, practices and structures. Its mission is to provide understandable and reliable information on trade to inform and empower decision-making that facilitates growth in U.S. food and agriculture. He also serves as the director of government and public affairs at Pinion, a leading advisory and accounting firm dedicated to the food and agriculture industry. In this episode, he shares the history of global trade as we know it today and unpacks the issues that are significant to the blueberry industry going forward.“ The Agriculture Trade Education Council views itself as content neutral in the sense of it's not taking a stand for tariffs or against tariffs, or for a free trade agreement or against a free trade agreement. That's not its job. Its job is to provide trade information, so it tries to stay out of the fights and the debates. It tries to just provide information so that everyone who's engaged in those discussions can operate off a common platform of knowledge and understanding.” – Brian Kuehl Topics covered include: An introduction to Kuehl and his work. The opportunities provided by the Agriculture Trade Education Council and the importance of this type of education. The history of the global trade system and the dynamic nature of its evolution. The most significant aspects of current agricultural trade that will impact the blueberry industry.Crop ReportThe Blueberry Crop Report is an update on crop conditions and markets throughout important blueberry growing areas.

In this episode of “The Business of Blueberries,” host Kasey Cronquist, president of the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council (USHBC) and the North American Blueberry Council (NABC), is joined by MBG Marketing CEO Brad Moorer. MBG Marketing is a producer-owned blueberry and blackberry cooperative that was formed in 1936 as the Michigan Blueberry Growers Association. They have since expanded their membership to several other states, and today have over 200 growers, making them the largest marketer of fresh and processed, cultivated blueberries in North America. Moorer has previously joined our podcast on episode 108 and episode 109. He returns now to talk about leadership, marketing and his views on where the industry is headed and where it needs to go.“We have the data today to manage more effectively than we did in the past and that certainly helped drive improved results on both the sales side and the expense management side. But we have had this headwind of inflationary environment that we've been operating in, and I think we'll all be glad to see if that ever goes back to more of a normal or at least a consistency where we could plan. … This is a long-term business, and you've gotta take that horizon when you get emotional about what's going on in the short term.” – Brad Moorer Topics covered include: An introduction to Moorer and his work. As one of the world's largest blueberry buyers, Walmart relies on experts like Byland to ensure customers receive great quality and value with each purchase. Byland plays a pivotal role in understanding and fulfilling customer needs, and ensuring that the highest quality produce reaches shoppers nationwide. “I think when you have a full case full of fresh berries, I believe that sets the tone for the entire customer's experience within the produce department. And so not only is Walmart focused on produce. Walmart is really, really focused on making sure that we carry the best quality, have great availability for our customers every day, because it really does set the tone.” — Melissa Byland Topics covered include: An introduction to Melissa Byland, Walmart merchandising director and a keynote speaker at the 2024 Blueberry Convention in Tucson. An exploration of the value Walmart puts on the “berry patch” in their stores, and the quality expectation they provide to customers. The various opportunities and obstacles for marketing blueberries to increase consumption in the Walmart produce department.Crop ReportThe Blueberry Crop Report is an update on crop conditions and markets throughout important blueberry growing areas. In this episode of “The Business of Blueberries,” host Kasey Cronquist, president of the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council (USHBC) and the North American Blueberry Council (NABC), is joined by Chad Reenders, a fourth generation farmer who has been growing blueberries with his family since 2006. He recently started his own blueberry farm, and he farms 120 acres with his brother-in-law. Last year, Vegetable Growers News included Reenders on their list of Fruit + Vegetable 40 Under 40. Reenders is also the president of the Michigan Blueberry Advisory Committee and a passionate advocate for Michigan farmers.“So in farming, it's risky, right? We're pretty much gambling every day with our money, with our income and with all the inputs we put in our farms. And in Michigan, I think two years ago, we were only at about 25% that were covered under some kind of crop insurance. I really wanted to push that number higher. I felt like we could at least get to 50%, if not more, of our growers being covered. I want to make sure that our blueberry growers are covered for the input costs and everything they have out in the field.” – Chad Reenders Topics covered include: An introduction to Reenders, a fourth generation farmer and president of the Michigan Blueberry Advisory Committee.Reenders efforts to promote crop insurance among blueberry growers, and the network he called on to make that happen. What the Michigan blueberry industry looks like today and where it's headed.
