We (and by "we", we mean Sio) talk about her worst dates, and of course, we talk about Rihanna being pregnant. Hope you enjoy, but not too much cause the next episode might be in July... It's been a minute and the podcast has an open and honest conversation on our dynamics, how we work, and transparency. It wasn't a pretty conversation, but it was a real and honest one. We talk also dive into why Valentine's Day isn't men's favorite holiday and creating safe spaces for your partner and yourself during hard conversations. And a kasfacts scenario about $60 cash worth of groceries caused a fight... Regular.
Episode 40 is finally here and Will blessed us with his presence. We talk about COVID (as usual) and have yall been linking people during corona. What yall did to celebrate Juneteenth and what was people plans for the 4th (we recorded this a while ago). Also, what's your definition of situations?
We. Are. Still. In Quarantine. The boys are complaining about the price of hair and skin beauty products and Sio has no sympathy. We have a mental health check-in, especially after the brutal murders that have occurred in the last few weeks. Also, did we forget about COVID cause it is looking like a regular summer in NYC outside? Also, Will said he was calling in "in a second" all episode.
This episode was recorded before the heinous MURDER of George Floyd and the riots it incited across the nation. We pushed back the release of the episode because it didn't seem right to post such a light moment while so much was happening. And candidly we needed a break from all that comes with posting an episode. However, we know that some people also need an escape and hope us releasing this episode provides a healthy escape for our listeners. This episode, we talk about the versus battles upcoming and ones we want to see. We also talk about how to determine if someone is "worth it", especially after the bozo behaviour of the young man who graduated from law school and decided to tell all of social media he was the prize, but was he wrong? Also, Seth still figuring out how to record the podcast virtually.
We hopped on the zoom this week to talk about a lot of topics. Some non-sexual things that turn you on, things you had to unlearn as an adult, what does toxic and toxic masculinity mean to all of us, and is corn a vegetable. Also, with the latest conversations on the NY timeline, we decided to have a conversation about what is coercion, what is sexual assault, and how men can be a safe space for women. Quarantine has us with time on our hands and somehow today's episode is almost 3 hours long. It's a good one but sorry yall.
We had this episode sitting in the vault for some time but Rona had us distracted. We talk Insecure, Stimulus checks, IG Lotto, and how much are you leaving your partner for? We won't wait this long again yall
Oh look, a new episode within a week, and we have a guest. Live from the Living Room, Clint Coley from Advice from a F*ck Boy podcast (@ClintColey on IG and Twitter) joins us this week. We talk about how Clint met Sio (and did they go on a date or not); do y'all kiss every time you have sex, how long before you say I love you, mental health during the Rona, why our families don't respect us, and music IG lives battles.
We are officially on shelter in place so this is our first all virtual episode. We are checking in to make sure we are doing well. We talking about risking getting corona to stay with your partner if they tested positive? Whats the rekindle window? What's a soulmate to you and if your partner told you that you WEREN'T their soulmate, would the relationship be over? And Seth falls asleep a few times... Don't mind him yall. He jet lagged. Stay safe and stay inside y'all!

This week, we talk about the shocking tragedy that hit the the Black community and the world, Kobe and Gianna Bryant's passing, why it hit us so hard, and mental health (especially for black men) surrounding it. Also, a scenario posted on the internet got us arguing for an hour over and imaginary $800
We have guest Jeff Brown, aka Th3Adopt3dOn3 (@jeffbrwn on IG), join us for our 30th episode of Same Energy podcast where we talk about his new play, how he got to where he was at, and the power of telling his story and why we see so many damn 3's We also talk the Drake interview, dual citizenship, left at the alter vs a turned down proposal, interracial dating, best/worst Valentines gifts can you date someone who is celibate til marriage?
This may be the longest episode we have done. We talk about the new math, the old NY after work/brunch party era, NYE plans, serving guests for the first time on paper plates, Karol Sanchez kidnapping situation, and Sioban and Baffoe get in a 2 hour argument about memes and men versus women (its been long overdue).
Once we get past the jokes (per usual) we dive into the Shiggy/Fab/Casanova situation and who was wrong.... also Summer Walker and was there a better way to handle her anxiety as well as talk about our own anxiety... we tried to talk about Queen and Slim but you know the boys didn't watch it so that was quick. Also, Seth said Henny is trash, so feel free to talk trash about him.
This episode we touch on women bringing their own condoms, Friendship break-ups versus Romantic breakups, T.I. doing too much, again, and #SocaSeth is here to stay.
On this weeks episode, we talk about how men and women are supposed to shoot their shot, societal norms and who places it on them, Tank, and only God knows who else... RIP John Witherspoon Alternate episode title: Sex Energy of Podcast.
Sio is in town and she regrets it immediately. They catch up, interview Sio dating life, and somehow make this the second installment of the sex episode.
This week, we brought in a special guest, @Cjoeblack to talk about finances as a millennial, more specifically, prenuptial agreements. Is there a way to put a cost on love? And if for some reason you thought we went full serious on this episode, snitching and tittie sex. Welcome to the Jordan episode.... we have a conversation on ultimatums, we talk JayZ... again, Shaun King, your top three fears, which toxic type is each character, and everything is brought to you by Sativa because the boys was HIGH! Also, where is Ronald McDonald House?
We been gone for minute but the whole crew is back to talk nonsense. Jayz and Kap, Popeye's chicken sandwich, borrowing money guidelines, stealing baby names, and y'all really still out here violating cucumbers.
Sio in town but she lost control of the boys. They talk about everything from the first time on edibles. Mercury retrograde and vulnerability in relationships. R. Kelly arrested again. And Eric Gardner. Jam Jar still hasn't sponsored the pod...
On this episode we get Sio to call in and talk about work husbands, how many time you masturbate, can your significant other dance with someone else why you around, and Will does that horrible Drake accent... again.
We talk about the story behind the Donnell Rawlings/Seth beef on IG (please check Donnell page IG if you don't know) and encounters with celeb/famous people. And also get into an in depth conversation about When They See US... And because Sio wasn't there, the boys go off topic on NBA Finals, JayZ touching a billion, Summer Jam, and snacks. Also, nasty cameraman still nasty.
Shout out to Apple for the technology to have Sio call in from the Bay... She needed to be here for the Ayesha Curry convo. Everyone jumped in (Including TY) and Sio almost fought Will via Facteime.
The boys been left unattended for too long so Sio called in help, MsDajahBelle from SoShameless Podcast, to reel them in... Spoiler Alert: It didn't work.
We pushed back this weeks episode drop so surprise. First and foremost #RIPNipseyHussle. Black men, this is for you. The boys talk about going back to the hood after success, about being a black man, and dating an x-man because a full episode of seriousness would be unheard of.
Sio is in town, and per usual, she is over the boys. We talk about culture vultures, IG being down, and the Michael Jackson documentary... ...also, if you block someone, and they don't call your friends, do they really love you?
This is the shortest episode we've has since episode 2 and somehow we back on Kanye again. And we still don't know how to end the podcast without Sio.
The boys try to hold it down while Sio aka Aggyiana Grande is out west and start the episode somehow comparing Cardi B gets to Trump. God speed to our listeners.
Sio is in town so we are giving you a new episode. We talk about Fyre Fest (cause Ja Rule is Sio favorite rapper), Black history month, ValenTIMES Day, polygamy, communication via Si-anyala Vanzant, Jussie Smollett and the trash Vibe article, and men making more than women... Yeah... it's a lot.
Sio is not here, and somehow the episode still had some direction. We get serious for a moment and talk about R. Kelly, then give you live commentary about City Girls Twerk video, cause life is about balance.
If you're still listening after episode 9, you a real one. Yes, we are STILL talking about the King of RnB. How we determine who gets cancelled. New Year, new you? And some Seth slander because he needed some time off from HIS podcast.
Sio has returned and she brought backup. The first guest of the podcast, Davey, joins the team to talk about everything, and literally nothing. This is the longest episode we've ever recorded with the least amount of focus. If you listen to the end, God bless.
The time came for the guys to record without Sio and well... they tried. Seth, Baff, and Will talk about R.Kelly, the holidays, Dwight Howard, women (duh), and of course slandering Sio cause she not there to fight us.
Will probably was recording his solo episode so Seth, Baff, and Sio held it down and we talked about Jill Scott (of course), birds and the bees, veneers, and who is more trash, men or women?
We would list the topics, but this episode was a hot mess. Blame the Jam Jar and Henny. Also, Sio got a new job and is moving and is fake now.
Casting for #ForTheLoveOfSio has begun (and somehow Sio didn't fight the boys), and the podcast talks about preference for men versus women. Baff and Will get in an argument about Kanye, and is makeup sex when you make up then have sex or make up during sex.... Also Seth thinks Takeoff is a member of New Edition.
Somehow this podcast still going and we touch sex appeal, hygiene, and the importance of the quintessential homegirl in men's life. And the regularly schedule Haitian session.
This episode we do the quickest insecure recap (cause you know the guys didn't watch), and we dive into the most randomest of sex convos. We cover everything from 69 (being trash) to missionary (being fire) to do men liked being choked. Also, Pop tarts vs Toaster Strudel cause we always argue about food.
1st episode Same Energy Podcast and Seth, Will, Sio, and permanent guest Baff talk about R. Kelly, depreciation of of the male genitalia, men being providers, and whats your price? Let's see if there will be an episode 2... (Title and description slightly changed from Souncloud to comply with podcast guidelines)
