The truth isn’t a matter of opinion, it is what it is. In fact, THE truth is the Word of God! And when you’re in a spiritual battle you need the truth for victory. Today Brian Tyndall continues his series: Spiritual Warfare: Putting on the Full Armor of God with a look at the Belt of Truth. Having the truth is one thing, putting it on is yet another. When you’re in a battle, you need to know who your enemy is. It’s the same in a spiritual battle, we have an enemy and sometimes he looks like a friend! In the Church today we have people that can act the part, but don’t really know Jesus.  Coming to and growing in faith in the Lord is a spiritual battle, and you want to make sure you’re in the right army! You’ve heard that God loves you, but you may not feel like it. You may be saying “prove it!” “What has God ever done for me?” Well, today Brian brings us a message from the Gospel of John sharing what God has done for you, and the whole world. There are certain marks of true believers that we find in this section of Scripture, the first (that was touched on last time) is they have heard, believed and received God’s witness, not mans! We all have reasons to be thankful. But are we? In the Gospel of Luke, there’s a story of 10 lepers that got healed by Jesus. Just one came back to thank him. During this week of Thanksgiving, it's good to remember where we’ve been and what God has done in our lives. Today Brian brings us a message from Luke 17 looking at the life of this thankful leper and how we can learn from him. Samson! We usually talk about Samson’s strength, but “love” or what he thought was love, made him weak. And for a lot of us, we run into the same problem. The Apostle Peter was sold-out for Jesus. He was convinced he’d never drop the ball...but he did. And the same thing happens to many Christians. Providing food, clothes, and a home for your family is a good thing. But if you miss the long-term...if you miss the spiritual...if you miss the eternal, then you've missed it all. Someone once said, "If there's no chocolate in heaven, I'm not goin." Well, no matter how good chocolate is, you ain't seen or heard or tasted nothin' yet! Today on Saved to the Uttermost, Brian Tyndall brings a study on heaven from the last book in the Bible - Revelation. You're going to die. That's a nice thought isn't it? But in reality, it's something we need to consider. And because of the fact that eternity is a really, really long time, we ought to consider where we are going to end up. The Great White Throne Judgement - a real event that will happen at the end of the world as we know it. How you respond to Jesus will effect if you have to face Him then or not. Will He be your Savior or Judge? Jesus Christ is the one true God. In the Ten Commandments, He told us to worship no other gods. He's the Savior of the world and is coming back soon as the Judge of all who refuse to believe and follow Him. Today, Brian teaches from the end of the Bible, Revelation 22, about the last words of God to us, "Surely, I am coming quickly." Grab a Bible and turn to Revelation 22.

In a world that promotes self-esteem, the "self-made man", "it's all about you", wouldn't it make sense to build yourself up? But as we'll learn today from Brian Tyndall, the apostle Paul learned that being the best wasn't what life was all about. Our best does not measure up to God's righteous requirement. But what does? Let's find out as we open our Bibles and turn to Philippians 3.

Having a relationship with Jesus Christ does mean He expects us to obey Him. In fact, Jesus gave His disciples marching orders, just before ascending into Heaven. We call it The Great Commission. Ever find yourself in "the wilderness"? You know, everything is going wrong. No matter how hard you try, you can't do anything right. Just wandering in circles. According to the Bible, when you live in unity with fellow believers and with God himself, it is good and pleasant. But with so much strife in our lives, can we really, practically live in unity?
