Are you sure you’re saved? The book of 1 John was written to help believers in Jesus have that assurance of eternal life. And today, Brian Tyndall concludes his message looking at chapter 5 of 1 John. There are certain marks of true believers that we find in this section of Scripture, the first (that was touched on last time) is they have heard, believed and received God’s witness, not mans! Today we’ll continue his message with point number two in part two of, Do You Know That You Have Eternal Life?
Does it seem like the world is just...falling apart? Do you find yourself asking “what in the world’s going on?” Ever wonder what’s going to happen and what you should do to be ready? Well today, Brian Tyndall shows us that there are people - witnesses, that saw it coming and who point us to the Solution. We’ll be in John chapter 5 beginning at verse 31, so grab your Bible and turn there now...John 5:31 for a message entitled, Powerful Witnesses for Perilous Times.
You remember that old song, “Lookin for Love in All the Wrong Places”? Today, Brian Tyndall brings us a study on an Old Testament character that did just that...time and time again! Who is it? Samson! We usually talk about Samson’s strength, but “love” or what he thought was love, made him weak. And for a lot of us, we run into the same problem. So join us now in Judges, beginning at chapter 14, for a message entitled, The Danger of Ungodly Physical Relationships.
The Apostle Peter was sold-out for Jesus. He was convinced he’d never drop the ball...but he did. And the same thing happens to many Christians. It’s happened to me, and it's happened to our teacher Brian Tyndall. Today, Brian brings us a message on “back-sliding” looking at what happened to Peter in Matthew 26. Hold your spot as Brian first defines “back sliding” in a message entitled, Back-Sliding: A Spiritual Slippery Slope.
Do you love Jesus? If you've been a Christian for a while, you may say "sure". But as Brian Tyndall will point out, in Revelation 2, Jesus talked to believers who left their first love. They no longer loved Jesus, at least not in the way God loves us. So how do we know if we really love Jesus anymore or not? Turn in your Bible to Revelation 2 to find out.
You can't be saved without seeing your sin. But what if you're a good person? Keeping the law, helping people? That's where a rich man in the Bible was coming from. But Jesus zeroed in on his heart, and the man went away very sad. Today, Brian Tyndall brings a message from Luke 18, looking at this man and what we can learn from him. So turn to Luke 18:18, for a today's message.
Providing food, clothes, and a home for your family is a good thing. But if you miss the long-term...if you miss the spiritual...if you miss the eternal, then you've missed it all. Today, Brian Tyndall brings a special message for fathers based on the example of Noah, in the book of Hebrews. Why did Noah build the ark? The Bible says - for the saving of his family. Turn in your Bible to Hebrews 11:7.
Someone once said, "If there's no chocolate in heaven, I'm not goin." Well, no matter how good chocolate is, you ain't seen or heard or tasted nothin' yet! Today on Saved to the Uttermost, Brian Tyndall brings a study on heaven from the last book in the Bible - Revelation. The apostle John was given a glimpse of heaven and attempted to put into words what he saw. So turn in your Bible to Revelation 21 for a study entitled The Reality of Heaven.
You're going to die. That's a nice thought isn't it? But in reality, it's something we need to consider. And because of the fact that eternity is a really, really long time, we ought to consider where we are going to end up. Today, Brian Tyndall will bring a message looking at the lives of two people in the New Testament and the two places they ended up after they died. So turn in your Bible to Luke 16.
The Great White Throne Judgement - a real event that will happen at the end of the world as we know it. How you respond to Jesus will effect if you have to face Him then or not. Will He be your Savior or Judge? Today, Brian Tyndall brings us a study in the book of Revelation, looking at The Great White Throne Judgement and what you can do to avoid it. Turn to the Revelation 20:11.
In a world that promotes self-esteem, the "self-made man", "it's all about you", wouldn't it make sense to build yourself up? But as we'll learn today from Brian Tyndall, the apostle Paul learned that being the best wasn't what life was all about. Our best does not measure up to God's righteous requirement. But what does? Let's find out as we open our Bibles and turn to Philippians 3.
Having a relationship with Jesus Christ does mean He expects us to obey Him. In fact, Jesus gave His disciples marching orders, just before ascending into Heaven. We call it The Great Commission. And today, Brian Tyndall brings us a study looking at The Great Commission and how we are to obey it, or fulfill it. Turn with us now to Matthew 28:18.
Ever find yourself in "the wilderness"? You know, everything is going wrong. No matter how hard you try, you can't do anything right. Just wandering in circles. Today, Brian Tyndall shows us that many times this wilderness experience happens because we try to go it alone, without God. Our study is in Joshua 1, where God brings the Israelites out of the wilderness into the promised land. Open your Bible to Joshua 1.
Are you on the search for peace, fulfillment, for God? In the Christmas story in the Bible, we're introduced to the wise men, astronomers from the East that sought after the newborn King. They had many bumps along the road, but found What, or Who, they were looking for. Today, Brian Tyndall will take a look at their quest to find Jesus and share some insight of what that means for us today. Turn to Matthew 2.
It's Christmas time! Celebrations, gift-giving, eating, the most wonderful time of year! But what's the hoopla really all about? Today, Brian Tyndall presents a message from Luke 2. It's the story that's been read at countless Christmas gatherings over the last couple millennia. But do you know it? What is the real message of Christmas? Well, that's what Brian will tackle today. Turn in your Bible to Luke 2:1.

Let's find out Peter's reaction by turning to Luke 5.
You may have heard it said that you need a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. But how do you have a relationship with someone you can't see? Jesus saw him and told him to come down. Let's find out what happened next in Luke 19:1.
The Word of God. We need it for a saving faith in Jesus, and we need it to grow in our relationship with Jesus. Today, Brian Tyndall brings us a study from 1 Peter 2. You may have heard it said, "You need to come to Jesus" either to fix a situation you're in or for salvation. But how? In today's study, Brian Tyndall will give us practical steps in approaching the Lord through the study of blind Bartimaeus, a beggar who called out to Jesus from the side of the road. The exchange changed his life forever. And God wants to change yours too. Turn now to Mark 10:46.
Worship. When you hear that word, what comes to mind? A choir or praise band playing a familiar hymn or a modern praise song? Today, we'll hear a message from Brian Tyndall pointing out that genuine worship is more than just going to church and singing songs. Genuine worship begins with you and me, personally, and not just at church. The Old Testament prophet Isaiah experienced genuine worship and we can learn a lot from what he experienced. Turn now to Isaiah 6 for today's study.
