Somewhere in between the radical arguments of today's world topics of sports, faith, politics, the economy, and the massive spread of drug and alcohol addiction lies a lonely place with evasive conclusions called the truth. "Somewhere In Between" with Coach Mulls and The Coop has a mission of getting to the TRUTH, that place where revelation lies and wisdom prevails. Coach Ryan Mullaney, a former football coach and pro player with an unsuccessful NFL Career being cut 5 times by 4 NFL teams, hosts the podcast with Co-Host Mark Cooper, successful NFL football star and former Denver Bronco (Oh yeah! He loves to floss that Super Bowl Ring). The alter egos of these two makes for interesting if not hilarious verbal punches thrown during their natural dialogue. Mulls is a former defensive lineman and Coop is a former Offensive lineman...natural born enemies. Their friendship sniffs the decade mark and they have worked with athletes from all over the country including contracts with 14 NFL teams in military and high school development camps. These two brilliant knuckleheads dig deep into topics to find the facts and usually with a flare of testy insults and a locker room level of humor.
If not the best podcast SIB has ever done, it is the most informative podcast Mulls and Coop has done for the achieving high school football recruit. Jackson Adams is a Senior in high school football recruit with offers to play at the Division 1 Level. Jackson and his father visit SIB to discuss his experience and the entire experience of fighting national competition to win the scholarship at the highest level of achievement. He is in the final months of getting the dream offer he has worked his tail off to procure for him, his education and to be a major contributor to his family and his education. Listen to this podcast to test your knowledge or to learn what it is like to be at the end of the recruiting process and the level of fight a young person has to go through to get it done. We have had former greats from the NFL on this podcast all of whom went through different iterations of the recruiting process when they were in high school including Mulls and Coop. Another Great Podcast with the Legendary All-Pro Running Back with the Minnesota Vikings Super Bowl Teams. He might be the best running back in NFL history. After all, he invented the "Spin Move" used by all running backs today. That earned him his nickname, "The Spin Doctor". Most would argue that Chuck is the best running back in Vikings history. We welcome the one and only Chuck Foreman to "Somewhere In Between" with Coach Mulls and The Coop (SIB) tomorrow morning at SIB's world head quarters at the Coldwell Banker offices in the Denver Tech Center. So look for the launch tomorrow on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Show some love and tune in after the launch tomorrow. Support this podcast

This is a very entertaining podcast and it is up in audio and video. "Somewhere In Between" with Coach Mulls and the Coop welcomes Ed Marinaro, former running back for the Minnesota Vikings, the New York Jets with Joe Namath and Seattle Seahawks. Ed was a runner up for the Heisman Trophy out of, believe it or not, Cornell University where his career and season stats set records for a running back as the BEST running back in college football history. His records held up in all of college football for 3 decades. In all Marinaro set 16 NCAA records at Cornell. Marinaro was inducted in the College Football Hall of Fame in 1991 For you young footballers, Marinaro is a star of the hit TV show "Blue Mountain State" as he plays the coach in the show, Coach Marty Daniels. Marinaro's role is one of the most popular coaches in TV history especially with the college crowds over the last decade. Marinaro also starred in several other movies and TV series including as Officer Joe Coffey in Hill Street Blues, Joey Buttafuoco in the Amy Fisher Story, and as a regular on Laverne and Shirley. HIGHLIGHT: Ed has a son (Eddie) who went through his senior season in high school this fall as a QB in South Carolina. He is headed in his father's footsteps to play collegiately at Cornell. During the podcast Ed goes into some depth with the struggles with his son's development and ultimately the recruiting process in a troubled year for football. Very interesting and informative. This is a great podcast for everyone who is not only interested in Ed's career in college, the NFL and as a very successful Hollywood actor currently on a great run with the TV series "Blue Mountain State" as Coach Marty Daniels, and iconic character for the 35 and under age bracket, AND his very normal existence as a high school football dad. Enjoy. Episode 7: Somewhere In Between - With Coach Mulls and The Coop - Guest Dave Rimington Intro: “And now, live from the offices of Coldwell Banker in the Denver Tech Center, here are Coach Mulls and former Denver Bronco Offensive Lineman Mark Cooper”. First introductions of Mulls, Coop and Guest Dave Rimington and an explanation of the show and what SIB is about. Dave Rimington Intro: Coop: I'd like to welcome a great, no, the greatest college Offensive Lineman and Former NFL Offensive Center Dave Rimington to the podcast. Dave was a center in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons during the 1980s. He played college football for the University of Nebraska, where he was two-time consensus All-American and received several awards recognizing him as the best college lineman in the country. The Big Man was also a consensus First-Team All-America in 1981 and 1982. In 1981, he was named the UPI Big Eight Player-of-the-Year and the AP Big Eight Offensive Player of the Year, the only time in Big Eight Conference history that a lineman was so honored. Ok, he was, of course, inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1997. He was selected to the Nebraska University All-Century Football Team. Dave was so good this is getting boring: Rimington won the Outland Trophy, given to the nation's top interior offensive or defensive lineman, in 1981 and 1982 and is the only two-time winner of the award. He was selected in the first round of the 1983 NFL Draft and played professionally for the Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL. Dave is the namesake of the famed Rimington Trophy, which is awarded annually to the nation's top collegiate center. Following his professional career, Rimington has served with the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boomer_Esiason#Boomer_Esiason_Foundation (Boomer Esiason Foundation) in their fight against https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cystic_fibrosis (cystic fibrosis). He has been with the foundation since 1993 and has been president since 1995. He was announced as the interim athletic director of Nebraska on September 26, 2017 Support this podcast
