I hear it all the time. "That might be ok for you but I hate the cold", or, "I have an illness that keeps me from regulating my body temperature so I can't get into the cold". And I use to say these things, too. Until I started practicing cold water immersion. Because we do not start out being able to grind one hundred push-ups, or already knowing how to drive before we get behind the wheel. It takes practice. And I have learned not only to embrace the cold, but to keep practicing because now I absolutely love it. And I believe it is much easier to swallow some initial disdain for the cold than it is the vast majority of pills out there. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/adrienne68/support
